Can't Stop Wearing Them - These shoes go everywhere, do everything, and look great! I bought them because of the angled strap--I had reconstructive ankle surgery last year and one ankle sometimes swells--these straps accommodate that perfectly. But more important these shoes are comfortable and CUTE, CUTE, CUTE. I've worn them with skirts and pants; to meetings, shopping, and walking the dog. They are comfortable with or without socks. My only concern is wear along the suede edging in the front. I'd buy these shoes again (and again) and wish they came in more colors.

Happy Feet!! Zappos does it again! I ordered these shoes Saturday and they were waiting for me Monday night when I got home, and I live on the west coast. Practically instant manifestation. These shoes rock and are the most comfortable I've worn in many years. I read other reviews and got a size smaller and they fit perfectly. Will definitely be getting more Naots. Good advice - thanks to all!!

So Cute! I purchased the terra cotta. They are really pretty and everybody asks about them. They are super soft, comfortable and reasonably roomy in the toe box for those of us with mild bunions. They seem about one size larger than marked. At first I thought that was part of the design to accommodate the slightly pointed toe. Now that I've been wearing them for a few weeks...I wish I had ordered one size smaller. Other than that, I love everything about them and I'm ordering more NAOTs right now!

Matai - I was looking for a shoe I could wear with both jeans and a skirt. I was also looking for a shoe that is comfortable for up to 8 hours of walking daily. We have not left for the sightseeing yet but I have been wearing it in preparation. I have needed a few initial band aids on the heels. Other than that I often forget I have the shoe on. It is a beautiful shoe!

Crazy Awesome Shoes! The Shoes are the best ever!! When I put these on my feet I feel like I can do anything from running a marathon to climbing a mountain. I wore them out at night and I swear they were guy magnets. Their funky fresh look is a big hit for Naot and was also the biggest hit at the party I was at. YEA! That’s what’s up!!!!

Very comfortable right out of the box and I have multiple foot problems. Working on my feet on a hard surface all day requires well-constructed shoes and these are! I bought the orange and thought I might look like Bozo because my feet are size 9 but everyone said how cute they looked. So i highly recommend the Matai.

Love the shoe, love Zappos - I am very happy about my purchase. The shoe is SO comfortable from the moment you put it on. I wear a size 9 US and ordered a size 8 and it fits.

Foot spa - I am recovering from foot surgery and this shoe felt wonderful as soon as I stepped into it. Excellent arch support, cushioning and has some pizzazz.

I have this shoe in this size in pewter metallic and love it, but this leather- black madras feels stiffer and the shoe a little smaller except in the heel which is looser. Maybe it would mole to my foot with where but I don’t want to take a chance

The website recommended ordering a half size smaller so that is what I did. However, I should have ordered my usual size; these were too snug.

My feet were swimming in these. I usually order a 12 in Naot sandals; however the twelve in this flat was huge. The shoe is very good looking. Sad I had to return it.

I like Naot shoes and I'd like to buy a pair, but the sizes are so inconsistent it's hard to do that. I've never worn a size 41 but that seems to be my Naot size, except when it's not. The 40 was too small and I tried a 41 that was too big. I have another pair of these in 41 and they fit when I wear 2 layers of socks. I really like the style so I'm sorry I can't get them. Naot should improve their lasts and make them consistent across styles.

Love it at first flame on my feet. Much cutter on then I thought it would be. I ordered small 6” Because of reviews stating ran lg but now need to return for my actual size 7”.

I am a size 7 and the size 7 was too large and the 37 (size 6) was too small. They don't have 1/2 sizes in this shoe.

These shoes would be perfect for me if they had a deeper toe box. They are stylish and very comfortable otherwise.

I love, love, love these shoes but unfortunately after a few months they begin to squeek. I have exchanged them 3 times, and each time the same thing happens. Since I'm not on my third pair I'm trying to trade them back and forth with another pair in hopes of extending their life

I selected these after trying five other pairs of mayjanes with Velcro. These were the most comfortable --mostly because the strap over the top of the foot does not cut or bind after hours of wear and the support is substantial without being clunky. If the band feel a little tight after a few hours you can adjust it. I'm not the biggest fan of the rounded/angle toe -- would like a sleeker look of the Naturalista colar -- but the look of thse has grown on me since I've worn them for the past three weesk. These Naots can put up with city streets as well as being on one's feet all day at work. I got these in the black madras with suede and think the shinier leather (compared to regular black leather) make these look a little more sophisticated. The suede is minimal so I'm not worried about it getting damaged -- I live in a climate with snow, rain, dusty, etc.

The Zappos description says to order one size smaller than you normally wear, but unfortunately, in my case this was NOT necessary. I normally wear a 41 (US 10), but the 40 (size 9) was way too small. Returning and trying my normal size instead!

When I spend nearly this much for a pair of shoes, I expect a lot from them. I am nearly satisfied with these! I have narrow heels and a wide toe-box, and it is hard to find shoes that fit. I am happy to report that my heel does not slide out of these when I walk, and there is plenty of room for my toes. The shoes are super comfortable and stylish. I also like the adjustable strap, though I would have preferred buckle over Velcro. Here is what I do not like about them: After some time in them (worn barefoot), my feet sweat, and the sole of the shoe is not absorbent enough and feels slimy. Also, on my left foot only (the slightly larger one), the border that goes around the shoe, to the right of my big toe, has developed a sort of bump. If it did not have a gold border to it, it would not be so noticeable. This is not just some weirdness of my feet; I have never seen a shoe do this before, and I do not have a bunion there or any other kind of abnormality which would make this bump happen. I wish I could attach a photo. It ruins the line of the shoe and makes me kind of sad. But! Overall I am happy with the shoes and would buy a Naot product again.

These shoes had a lot of the qualities I wanted -- comfortable, supportive, and stylish -- but I must need a half size because I couldn't get fitted in them. I normally wear a 10 and I tried both the 40 and 41. The 41 was big and the arch was hitting my foot in the wrong place. The 40 was better but still not quite right. Still, I would recommend giving them a try since I do think it's a good shoe.

The reviews are understandably positive, but ignoring the recommendations, I ordered (green) in my usual size. The color is almost black but still gorgeous, but they were huge; not to be deterred, I ordered one size down (Peacock), and I cannot even get them on. I am really disappointed -- clearly I am only two of the three bears!

I ordered the Peacock color in a 38 and have been pleasantly surprised at how that color goes with nearly everything. The shoe is comfortable, but...but...I don't know exactly what it is, but I don't'like the way it looks on the inside of my foot. There is just the slightest bulge that probably no one else could ever notice, but I do. However, they are very comfortable, the color is great, and I definitely plan on keeping them.

I have two feelings about this shoe. The first the wonderful feeling on my foot. I wear size 9 and the 40 fits like a glove. The leather lining is soft enough to go sockless. The support is enough so that I don't have to use my orthotics for my flat flat feet. The second feeling is the look is more dorky than sleek. However, the good feeling beats the drawbacks of the appearance.

I bought this shoe after reading all 600 previous reviews, all of them glowing. I fully expected to love this shoe, and had high hopes for it as a solution to my problems with plantar fascia while working 11 hour days on a stone floor. While the shoe is undoubtedly very comfortable and well made, I honestly do not recommend it as an all-day-on-hard-floor shoe, and I will tell you why. First of all the shoe runs about a half size large. I wear a perfect woman's size 6, so I bought the 37 in this shoe. It is just a little too big, though the 36 is too small. I am still keeping it, as it is very comfortable anyway, but I would have more support from the shoe if it fit a little snugger. Secondly, the arch support is not as pronounced as I need and the sole is not thick enough for cushioning on hard surfaces all day. Don't get me wrong; it's a great shoe, but I am still shopping for something I can wear working all day!

For this much money, I expect perfection. While cute and very comfortable, they are too wide. If I tighten them to fit, the tail of the strap drags on the floor.
