Ok, so I love these boots. I keep them well maintained in their box and in a place of honor. I’ve worn them but 6 times maybe in the last year. The heel is not too much...they aren’t super comfy but they're heeled boots, what do you want? But here's the deal. Today the zipper breaks. I’m not sure how easy (if at all) something like that can be fixed...But for the price and only 6 wears I’m a little miffed. Other than that they're gorgeous. Get compliments all the time.

Love this shoe - The fit is perfect, like wearing a slipper, only better. I've never had a shoe with so much arch support. It really cradles your foot. Plus it's really cute. I am going to order a lot more of this brand.

Finally! I've been looking for a comfortable, supportive shoe for travel that looked somewhat fashionable. Although they are certainly not a sexy evening shoe, they are funky and I won't feel frumpy wearing them with capris, slacks or even casual skirts. I have a bunion that needs to be accommodated and the cut of the Matai toe along with the softness of the leather takes care of that requirement. I typically wear a size 9 1/2 or 41, but ordered these in a 40 as suggested on the Zappos web site. The 41 would definitely have been too large, especially if they stretch as many reviewers have stated. Kudos to Zappos! I ordered these shoes one afternoon and they were on my doorstep the next morning. That kind of service is hard to beat!

Very fun! I love these shoes. So comfortable and stylish. It comes in a variety of colors so you can not be so traditional and yet, have the comfort you want.

A delight. I love this shoe. There are lots of the Mary Jane style shoes about, but this one sets itself apart. It's elegant and funky at the same time. I failed to listen to previous reviewers about the sizing and that was a mistake. It does indeed run large. I wear an 8 1/2, ordered that size and it had to go back. I immediately ordered the 7 1/2, sent back the others the next day, and that same afternoon had my new order. They are perfect. I only wear these shoes for fun... I work in food service and they are too nice for that.

Loved the referral - My daughter recommended these shoes to me. She wore them on a recent vacation to Italy and she said they were absolutely wonderful. She was right! I wore them the first day-all day and they were great!

These are wonderful shoes that gave my high arched feet a lot of support and carried me through Europe on a tour. I wouldn't wear them to dress up, but they are great with pants. I just put them on and wore them, no breaking in. I took the advice of other wearers to order one size down, from a 40 to a 39.

Cuter than you would think! This shoe was instantly comfortable and is orthotic adaptable if you need it. I would say the 39 was perfect for me, and I am a normal size 9. This shoe is probably not for the very narrow foot. If you need a heavy sock go up a size. I walk in these as I hate an athletic shoe and these are great and fine quality. I also ordered the copper/wine combo.

This was my first purchase from Zappos. I bought a size larger as recommended and they feel perfectly comfortable. I am very happy with these shoes because they look great both casually and dressy; they fit well with thin socks or without socks; AND my feet are relatively pain free after wearing them. Zappos service is thankfully reliable. Without any problems, I returned my first pair because the stitching did not sew down the lining properly. I received my next pair within days. Overall a very good purchase. I was a die-hard Dansko fan but I think Naot is better comfort-wise and style-wise (not clunky and loose on my heel like Dansko). I intend to buy another pair.

Nice Surprize - Took a chance on these shoes and ordering online. I have very hard to fit feet (two different sizes, wear orthotics, have very tender spots due to several surgeries), plus I have had Naots in the past, that I loved, but that got to be too short on my long foot. But, these shoes are great! They fit, accommodate my orthotics (and the insoles that they come with are really great too!) and were pretty much totally wearable and comfortable from the first minute!

Cute and comfortable - Listen to the suggestion of buying a size smaller than normal -- that's what I did and shoes fit perfectly. I have a lot of foot pain and was really looking forward to getting these shoes. I did have to break them in, minor blisters, but on the whole a great shoe. I wish there was more cushioning in the heel, but otherwise I highly recommend them. I have custom orthotics which were incredibly expensive and don't help with the foot pain, so these shoes, even though expensive, were a better purchase than the orthotics.

I love Naot Matais. I have plantar fasciitis, bunions, high arches, wide toes, narrow heels, and one foot 1/2 size larger than other. Sounds bad written out! These shoes are like slippers with support! I love Zappos!! I needed to try different styles, sizes, and brands. Zappos made it easy!!!! I like several styles of Naot but not all (still trying out some). At night I have been wearing Earth/Solar, they are very comfortable too, but still getting used to negative heel.

Instant comfort - This shoe is great... the softness and support are wonderful. It is cuter on the foot and in person than the picture is. I feel I can wear and walk in this one for hours… thinking of getting some more fun colors! Remove insole and your orthotics will do... I choose the Naot insole however and I am awaiting foot surgery. I wear a 9 in US sizes and a 39 was perfect for me.

Comfortable, fun shoe - I liked these so much I bought two pairs in different colors. They're not gorgeous, but they're fun and unusual - and extremely comfortable. They also fit orthotics easily.

Matai Metal - I love these shoes. I ordered them on a fluke really, thinking they just looked like artist's shoes and would be so cool to wear in my gallery. I never imagined they would actually fit and be really feel great too. I usually wear the Brooks Addiction Walkers to work every day for the support. I have arthritic knees and narrow flat feet. These are like walking on air and no ankle pain, adjustable to my narrow feet and oh so funky. Just look better every time I wear them. No socks needed either.

Good work shoes - I'm a pharmacist and I stand on my feet all day. This is probably the best shoe I have found to relieve my foot and leg pain. It also looks good with skirts.

Walking the streets of Venice - I love my new Naot shoes. They are making it easy to walk all day and not have sore feet. On to Rome tomorrow!

My favorite shoe, made better by Zappos - I have been wearing this shoe for 1 to 2 years. I have them in every color now and I live in them. I wear them to work and play and can walk miles in them. I normally wear an 8M or Wide, but the 7 fits best in this shoe. Thank you Zappos for making it so easy to buy these shoes!!!

My favorite! I love the Naot Matai! This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned (actually now I own three pair). They do stretch a bit once broken in and I could probably have gone a size smaller, but the looser fit doesn't bother me at all. The shoe has great support and can be worn with a wide variety of clothing options. I recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for a super comfortable, durable shoe that is still attractive.

Loved these shoes - I was looking for a nice walking shoe - casual, but nice. Seems like if you want comfort, you can't have style. Found these on a trip and was delighted to discover you can have both. Upon returning home, I went on Zappos to get another pair in a different color. I wore them out of the store and love how they feel and look. Great with dresses and skirts, also pants or capris. I will probably try other stles in th future. I bought a size smaller than usual as I was told they run a little big. Fit perfectly.

THE Best Shoe - I bought a pair of these in a retail store in New York and they were so instantly comfortable, I wore them right away throughout my visit. But, I couldn't find any again until I shopped at Zappos. Now I'm set for the fall. The shoe gives a lot of support and comfort for both the heel and arch, with a nice wide toe box to make toes very happy. The colors made me happy as well. I can't tell you how many people have stopped to say, "Great shoes!" My only caveat is that they run a bit large in length and width. I bought a size smaller than I normally wear and they're roomy. I'll be able to wear sock or tights in the fall/winter.

Love them - This is my second pair of Naot shoes, style Matai. They are so comfortable and I get compliments on them all the time. This is the first time I ordered shoes on the internet. I have been afraid that they would not fit. These shoes fit perfectly.

Cute and Comfy - These shoes are just what I wanted. Comfortable without being too old ladyish even though I am an old lady. I needed a shoe that would fit my rigid, prosthetic foot as well as my real one and this works just fine. Wonderful service as always.

Super Cute Shoe! Just got mine today in the metal and they are really really cute! Felt pretty comfortable too. I am a measured size 7 with an average width foot and I ordered the 6 as advised by Naot and Zappos and it fits perfect with room.

Repeat buyer - Finally shoes that are made in the shape of a foot! This pair of shoes went with me on a month long trip to Europe. I walked about 7 miles each day on city streets and they were so comfortable. Interestingly, the color goes with most things I wear, so no problem there. When it was chilly I wore a thin pair of socks. I liked them so much, this order was for my second pair!
