Several Naot styles said you should order a size down. Not in this one - the 39 is too small and is going back. I will probably keep the 40.

Very comfortable, well made shoe but I just didn't like how it looked on me.

The reviews said to order a size down, which I did -- it was too small - so back they go. They are cute so will order my normal size.

The shoe is well made and felt comfortable as soon as I put it on, but returned it because of the style. Top too high covering almost half of your foot. If top had been lower I would have kept the shoe.

This shoe is a world class beautiful, comfortable shoe which allows me to wear it anywhere. I have been a 2" heel lady for years, and even 3 or more when I was in my 20's, yet I've discovered with styles like the Naot Matai, it's unique and happy enough for me to enjoy any time. I never thought I would admit that I don't need a heel to feel dressed up!! Thank you, Zappos.

True to Naot arch support. Returned because I needed the kind of support one finds in a tie shoe to keep ankle from rolling after knee replacement surgery. Naot's 'Kawaka' was a better choice to stabilize foot and ankle. Wanted to keep these because they would have been a lighter shoe for summer wear and had more color options.

These shoes are absolutely fabulous!!! I'm so pleased other reviewers offered their opinion regarding size. I "listened" therefore didn't need to return for an exchange. I'm someone who has always liked a bit of a heel - 2" at the most - yet I know it's better for my overall foot health to wear shoes more often which have a good arch support and actually look classy. My feet are happy and I'm happy to look at what I'm wearing. For instance, I can't imagine any kind of a white sneaker, or black rubber sole "running" shoes. Godawful. No style...no class. This Matai is perfect. Yeah...you rock too Naot.

The shoe is my favorite shoe of all time. Just enough parts to keep my feet from turning in. Most of them have black so they can be worn with black socks. Even though the price is high, they are worth every penny to me. They are now being sold on QVC but if you buy there, you have to pay for shipping both ways if they do not fit you. I own them in every color they make.

I love these shoes. Very comfortable but after 6 months one of the shoes is squeaking when I walk, so I will be returning/replacing considering the high price I paid for Naot. They usually last forever and do not disappoint.

Naots are fabulous but this shoe in suede bulged on the sides. Really well made and comfortable foot bed. I might try the leather style.

Was looking for a different option than buying more Keen brand Mary Janes. This is super comfortable and stays on my long and narrow foot. The brown is really pretty and the subtle line of gold that rings around the shoe is a nice touch.

Great shoe, felt like quality and style when I first put my foot into the toebox. My high arch is too high for the velcro strap. And the velcro strap kept sticking to my socks. So I returned the shoe. Back to the drawing board.

I had to return this shoe: It's good looking, but it runs both short and narrow.

I own Naot Matai in black. As Naot's guidance indicates, it does run large; I ordered a 38 instead of my usual 39 (US size 8) and it fits find. Although I usually wear custom orthotics, Naot Matai's footbed is comfortable, so I wear it as it comes.

I own 2 pairs of Naots and bought this pair for my daughter, who is pregnant and has some a circulation issue in her legs. She loves the comfort and support as much as I do! I really can't say enough good things about Naots! I'm a retired Registered Nurse and wish I'd discovered this brand when I was on my feet even more than I am now. I bought this style in Volcanic Red Leather and they are beautiful! As Naot advises, this style runs a full size large, so order down. I say that they are narrower than marked because my daughter and I have very narrow feet and can't wear really thick socks with Naots as we have to with most other brands. In my opinion, anyone who thinks that a pair of Naots is overpriced hasn't bought a really good pair of shoes in the past 20 years! These shoes are worth every penny!

I bought these in blue. Oh, they are like stepping on a cloud. Toe bed is excellent, no cramping. They are so cool!! They are magician slippers with the cool design on top, texture of leather and the design on the sole. Product is from Israel and fine craftsmanship.

Best shoe ever! And they feel good right out of the box. I've been wearing a Naot Matai now for about 10 years, ever since I discovered I could wear a pair all day with no hip or knee pain from my arthritis. Plus, the wide toe box means no pinching around my toes. This is my 4th pair, bought for an upcoming trip to Europe. They're great with capri's, jeans, even casual dresses and skirts--and they work perfectly for travel, especially on cobblestones, meaning I can walk miles in a day.

This shoe fits well and has wonderful arch support. Naot fits my narrow feet well, thanks to the velcro strap. I actually received a pewter/gold color instead of the black I ordered (it was in the "black" box) and I like that color better than black, so I am keeping them!

Very comfortable out of the box! Soft flexible sole and as I need the strap for shoe to stay on the adjustable nature of these is great! Doesn't look orthopaedic or clunky ! Lightweight enough to pack these are slightly less firm arch support than the coastal naot but should give good support for travel and everyday use

I usually wear flip flops or sandals because I live in FL but there are times I need closed toe shoes. Usually they end up being tight in the toes or not enough arch support. I own the famous very high priced German shoes and while they are comfy, they are not that attractive. These Naot shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and I've gotten lots of compliments. There's enough room in the toebox for my slight hammertoes. They don't rub or chafe. Honestly they fit like a glove. I do use an orthotic in them which gives me the extra arch support I need. Walking in them is a pleasure, they just seem to make my foot roll nicely and I can wear them all day with no pain or discomfort. So I thought it'd be worthwhile to buy another pair of similar looking Naot shoes. Unfortunately, those did not fit as nicely. I'm thinking I need to buy another pair of this exact same shoe and cross my fingers that they fit as well.

Oh yes they are pricey. Definitely worth the price. Mine are probably going on three years now. Still in good shape. They have gotten me all over Europe. My feet always feel comfortable. They might not be the most stylist shoe around but when I need comfort these are my good to shoes for travel. They are great for every day walking too.

Cute shoe which I have in gray, 39W (normally I take 8.5 W) which fits perfectly. The 39W is perfect and I was looking for another color. This in 40M is waaaay too long and I had to return it. The stars refer to the correct size, which is 39W for me.

The fit was wonderful except for the arch support. the arch support was to far forward for me... a common problem for my feet. Still recommend though. Very sweet shoe
