Silly me, I didn't pay attention to the reviews! Just a tad bit on the bigger size, I should have sized down by a half (I just exchanged one-half size down). Other than that, no complaints...great shoe, and color is true to photos (I've purchased shoes on other sites where the photo online does not match the color of shoe in person).

This may be the best pair of shoes that I've ever owned. In my case though, they definitely ran a half size big. I always wear a size 10, but with these I had to send them back to get a size 9.5. I'm very glad I did, these are some of the most comfortable, attractive, and classy sneakers around.

I bought these shoes at a specialty shop located in Milwaukee, WI that closed down a year or so ago. These were my first Onitsuka Tigers, and I was depressed when they wore out, hoping that someday I might be able to find another pair. Lo and behold, here comes Zappos to the rescue with this fantastic, faithful re-release in 2011. It is exactly like the original in quality, look, and construction. You will be hooked on Onitsuka Tiger once you give these a spin.

After reading the other reviews, I'm glad I got a half size smaller than my usual size. They fit great. I can't wait for the weekend to wear them.

The black is a little on the shiny side, but comfortable and they look great with jeans. Zappos customer service is top notch too!

Onitsuka Tiger's by Asics (Ultimate 81 [LE]) are quite possibly one of the best shoes to hit the market. Not only do you get the light weight feel of a running shoe you also get great comfort and style. At first I was a bit worried about the shiny black areas of the shoe, but trust me when I say...the pictures/video provided do not give this shoe any justice. I've owned several pair of Onitsuka Tiger's in many different colors through the years and these shoes definitely hold up to abuse. Even with some age these shoes still look great. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone. With the many different color patterns available in this style, you can't go wrong.

i am an avid fan of the Ultimate 81s AND these in particular run a half size big. So, for example, I am an 8½, but with this pair, I had to buy a size 8 to get my normal fit.

The shoes are exactly what I expected! The ordering and delivery are second to none! Have ordered just two different shoes from your site and cannot say enough good about Zappos. An awesome shoe!! This is my third pair of Onitsuka tigers and I have been impressed with each pair, this ones blend of colors is really unique and I feel it reflects me when I wear them. It is also very sturdy!!! I water proofed them when I got them out of the package and they have stayed clean ever since, also the material they are made out of resists creasing. This shoe is a pleasure to own and wear.

These shoes are probably one of the best I've ever had. I too bought the gray/white Ultimate LEs a couple years ago and although worn, they still fit and feel great. Why can't they bring those simple colors back, ya know, colors that match with more than one outfit!?!

Love Them! The most durable, comfortable, and stylish shoe I own. Would recommend to ANYONE of all ages. I even bought my mother a pair!

Love 'Em - I have at least five pair of the Onitsuka Tiger by Asics. They are very comfortable, stylish, and affordable. I often get complimented on them. Simply, I love them!

I’m a fan FOR LIFE - These shoes are amazing. I bought the Gun Metal/Birch (gray and off-white) Ultimate 81 LEs two years ago, and even though they look worn down, they haven't even begun to fall apart and still look alright. I love those shoes because the neutral colors go with ANYTHING. I just bought myself another pair, this time the White/Turkish ones. They don't go with as many colors as my first pair, but since I wear blue a lot and even have blue in my hair, it's no problem. I can't stop raving about these shoes. They're cool-looking, different, and unique, not to mention pretty comfortable for walking around! The shoes feel hard at first, but mold to your feet and get softer (there's a big difference right now between my first and second pair). I'm going to college in NYC in the fall and am definitely buying at least one more pair before then. You will not regret buying these shoes! They're worth the money! :)

Great Shoes! I have been wearing the Asics Onitsuka brand for about 4 years now. The only types of shoe I have bought between those 4 years have been Asics. This particular type of style is extremely comfortable, durable, and breathable. They are different enough to get noticed but not too flashy. They are great for being in all day if you don't want to get tired feet. I have already had these shoes for over a month and they still smell like new! I don't think they could have produced a better shoe. I am sold!

The 'Rest of my Life' Shoes - I've had these LE shoes for nearly 2 years now and they are by far the best shoes I have ever owned. I wear them hard too. Everyday, all day, walking, hiking, driving, climbing, running, soccer, you name it I've done it the LE's. Since I've had them for so long, they are starting to show some wear - which is why I'm here looking to buy a new pair. What kind of wear are they showing after 2 years of hard use? Well I'll tell you. The interior sole has held up remarkably. Where most interior heels scrape off over time and become insanely uncomfortable, they don't show a mark, that's thanks to the leather. The exterior sole is smooth on the heel only; the entire bottom still has its texture - which is amazing because usually after a year the texture is nearly completely rubbed off to the inside almost. The toe is still in perfect shape as well as the original lacing and tongue. There is a slight crease near the beginning of my toes where the shoe has to curl when walking. After a long period time, I would only expect that to happen. Finally, they still do not smell and that's crazy as I'm notorious for my shoes being putrid after long periods of wearing. In fact, the shoes before this pair I had to throw away they smelled so bad (Fila, never again). Than again, that was my senior year in high school and maybe my body has settled down some, lol. They're still as comfortable as the day I bought them and actually have become more comfortable as they're molded to the shape of my feet. I'll probably keep these as a backup pair after I buy a new pair. They're expensive, but seriously they're worth it, especially when they basically pay for themselves as they last so long. If you're interested in these shoes I totally recommend you take the plunge because trust me, you'll never look back. I spent all day today looking for a new pair and I just kept coming back to these because there is no comparison.

Super cool shoes - They are the best looking and the coolest shoes I’ve ever seen. They feel great on my feet.

These are the best shoes ever! This is the best pair of shoes I've ever owned. They rub the first few days you wear them, but after that they are amazingly comfortable. Mine are so comfortable and breathable I can wear them without socks. They stay cleaner than you'd expect and they're super durable -- I've had mine for almost a year (I'm hard on my shoes, so this is unheard of) and they're still great. Spend the extra $10 on the leather because they're definitely worth it for the durability.

Gun metal grey - Good shoe. Worth the money. I don't know about the other colors/styles buy the leather grey ones run big. I wear a 10 in Adidas and I needed a 9 in these.

Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81 - These are the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn! And i'm not lying! T thought nothing would beat the Adidas Sambas but these do!

Veryyyy comfortable - These shoes never needed a breaking-in period. I havent had a pair of Asics in 10 years and boy do I miss them. They fit great.

feather weight comfort - These shoes are great. They are very light and slim, but they don't lack in a comfortable sole, which so many stylish sneakers do today. I wear a 9 wms in Nikes, but 9.5 to 10 in Pumas. These shoes fit good, with a little extra breathing room, at a 9wms or 7.5 mns. The shoes are not as wide as they look on the web site. When you slip these on you'll enjoy the light cushiony feel, even after a long day on your feet.

Tigers - These shoes rock. The color combos are off the hook. Only drawback in comfort was gone in a week after they were worn in a little. I wanted two other pairs of tigers and settled on these. Completely happy with my decision.
