I have a pair of Finn Comfort Jamaica sandals that are the best in fit. The Sansibar is the same size, etc., and the top of the shoe on my right foot irritates the top of my foot. No adjustment has worked. I finally have to put nylon between the sandal and my foot. I think the leather is too stiff as opposed to a suede finish. Very disappointed. I did not realize the problem until I wore it a while.

I needed comfortable walking sandals for my trip to Europe so I tried Finn Comfort Sansibar as I thought they would provide comfort without compromising style. I was spot on with my assessment - I couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase! In fact, I was so pleased I ordered them in white as well. I have worn both pairs to "break them in" but they were totally comfortable right out of the box & offered me the support I would expect in a fine shoe. I've worn them on several all day shopping trips and my feet felt great at the end of the day - what more could one ask of a shoe? I love that both straps are adjustable for even more comfort. Of course, dealing with Zappos is just the best - their customer service team gets a five star rating from me. They know the importance of keeping their customers happy and do what it takes to make that happen.

These sandals are very very comfortable. I am able to wear them for an entire day of work and for my work I have to stand on my feet a lot. The metal "button" adds a little style to the overall simple design. I have these sandals for several years now and just keep reordering them because they have been great for my back and feet problems. They also are great to slip in after a day spend in any other shoes.

These are the most expensive sandals I have ever purchased, but worth every penny. I had a bout with plantar fasciitis and needed to get some good shoes. These are the best shoes I ever had without question. I used to be a big fan of Clarks but they can't touch Finn Comfort with a ten foot pole!

Most Comfortable Sandal Ever -
This sandal is one that you can slip into and wear all day. It was made to walk in and provides great arch support. At the end of the day, your feet feel great. I HIGHLY recommend this shoe.

Looks alone…does not do it!
I was going to say looks alone cannot cut it, but in fact, this shoe did. I have a cut on the top of my foot from the hard leather strap across the instep. I had to send them back. I could not tolerate the friction from the leather on my sensitive feet.

I normally wear a size 5½ shoe. I purchased this shoe in a size 35D which is a US size 4-4½. The size I selected was perfect in both length and width, as my feet are smaller and wider than the average woman. The shoes are quite comfortable. I also have the Catalina in the same size.

Finn comfort shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own and I have the slides in several colors. I particularly like Sansibar-s and Mumbai-s. Zappos is so great about free shipping and return that I have been able to try various shoes and found which fit the best. I hate shopping in stores for shoes now that I can sit at my computer and order from a wide selection.

This is my third pair of Finn Comfort shoes. I have dances for years and developed a high arch. This has been a comfortable shoe for me because of the arch support. I also just replaced the sole of my oldest pair and they now look and feel new. My only problem is this price.I think they are very expensive, particularly with the economy as it is today. I would like to buy two closed toe shoes for the fall and winter. In closing I will say, only buy what you can afford. If you can buy only one pair of shoes make them Finn Comfort.

I live in these shoes. They healed my plantar fasciitis after a year of trying MANY other unsuccessful remedies. Worth every penny I paid for them. I will buy many more Finn Comfort's in the future. I bought these at an orthotic shoe store, and they "built up" the arch on the insert (I have unusually high arches). I believe this plus the exceptional Finn footbed is what finally allowed my foot to heal completely. The velcro straps allowed me to fit this to my narrow foot comfortably. In the winter, I would wear them with socks outside the house and switch to no socks once I was in the house. The velcro strap allowed me to EASILY adjust the fit to accommodate my socks. If you've never worn this style of shoe before, you must "break in" the top of your feet by wearing this shoe only 2-4 hours the first day, and adding a couple of hours each successive day. The top strap will make the top of your feet sore if you over wear this shoe in the first 2 days.

I actually bought these shoes to wear around the house because I have tiled floors. I read the reviews and was impressed by the many favorable comments on their comfort and support. I experienced airy, buoyant comfort from the moment I put them on. My foot is on the narrow side and measures 10.18" so I can wear a 10 or 10.5 depending on the style and mfr of shoe. I bought size 41 and they fit perfectly. I like the versatility the straps provide because I can loosen them to accommodate socks when I wear them in cooler weather. I love the cushiony feel over cobblestones or textured pavement, it's like I'm walking on air because the flexible sole "gives" and cushions my feet. The only thing that I don't like is that the insoles turn black as they shape to my foot. I don't walk barefoot, my feet are clean, but it looks like I walk in tar and then put shoes on. I just washed them with a water and bleach solution to see if they clean up!
