The size all wrong because of the extra large width the shoes look comfortable, but I just could not get right fit.

The straps cut into my insteps and the stitching on the collar wore blisters into my heels. I think you need pretty flat feet to wear these comfortably

I wouldn't recommend this shoe because the strap broke within a couple of weeks. It loops through a piece of plastic that snapped right off. Otherwise it is a good shoe if you are looking for comfort and support, and have no fashion aspirations.

Wide was truly wide and this shoe was very tall so orthotics fit easily. This shoe has an orthopedic look. I'd wear it if nothing else fit but I'd feel like an older lady wearing this with my pencil skirts and suits.

I bought this shoe for my mother who suffered a stroke and needs to wear a leg brace that fits into the shoe. These shoes are deep enough that it works great and still looks good. The velcro closing also is adjustable so that when her feet swell she can loosen the strap. I also own a pair which I bought because my orthotic fits well in the shoe. The always feel wonderful. My only complaint is that they look a bit orthopedic with dresses. They are great with slacks. The shoe is very adaptable depth wise.

So far so good -
I have really bad bunions and this shoe is working so far. I have worn them all day teaching and no problems with my bunions. The only complaint so far is that where the strap hits my inside foot it rubs but I have not had a blister so far. This may happen because I have to get the wide width for my deformed feet. I love the looks of these shoes with skirts and pants. I am happy.

First off I want to comment on the service. It is tremendous!!! I ordered my shoes one day and they arrived the next! I didn't even have to pay the shipping! The shoes are very attractive. I like the velcro strap, which makes it easily adjustable. They were a little heavier than I anticipated but they are constructed very well. It is nice to be able to find shoes in my size and then to be able to put them on and wear them immediately without stretching them or having them hurt my feet. I will definitely order from Zappos again.

It's not the usual type of shoe I would order. However, I recently had foot surgery and thought these shoes would give me the width and comfort I needed when I return to work. I'm a flight attendant and the first day back to work I wore these. Unfortunately, they were extremely uncomfortable by the end of my 15 hour day. I can't wear them. Too heavy of a shoe for one, and the inner sole was not that comfortable. Many flight attendants wear this shoe, but for my feet, it just doesn't work. Luckily I can pass these on to another flight attendant who wears these and loves them. So I'm not stuck with a hundred $ pair of shoes I can't wear.

Salvation!
Finally, a shoe that is made to accommodate orthotics!! They provide superior stability in the heel and medial arch, key for an overpronator like me. I went to a specialty store and got measured before buying. Usually I wear a 7.5M in shoes, but I was fitted as a 7N in Drew shoes. I recommend getting measured before purchasing Drew shoes! Once you get the correct size, these shoes are simply heavenly. Having a choice of insoles works great, especially since getting the right fit with a 3/4 length orthotic is tricky. Definitely, I will purchase more Drew shoes. Zappos, thanks for carrying this brand of shoe!

I'm trying to make up my mind about these shoes! I ordered 5 pairs of Drew’s and sent the others back because they were too short. I had read that they ran true to size or a little big so I ordered the sneaker in my regular dress shoe size. Should have gone to my sneaker size which is a 1/2 size larger. Anyway, I love the extra depth of these and they don't look too bad with sox but that is nerdy with Mary Janes. If I don't wear sox, there is way too much space between my foot and the top of the shoes. I'm trying different liners to see if any of them work. I need a very wide box and a narrow heel and I suponate (roll to the end and outside of any shoe). I wish that they were softer on the sides too. If you have to wear clunky foot-problem types of shoes and could get these to fit instead, I think you'd be cuter with these. Even with extra depth, they don't look too old lady, maybe just a little funky, Hope this helps...I am tempted to see if I can get a sneaker that will fit from Drew. I love Zappos for letting us work this out!

If these weren't so comfortable, and the only pair of shoes I have that fit my new orthotics, I would probably send them back. They are a little "clunky" looking, and are much too big and overwhelming on my foot without the orthotics inside. But the extra lift they give somehow makes them passable--without the orthotics, NO! By the fit, it seems I need a smaller size, but I did try this on in a store a 1/2 size smaller and it crunched up my toes (maybe the sizing is inconsistent?). Anyway, I kept these and wore all over Europe for 10 days and my feet were happy, so what can I say? Comfort won out over looks.

Bless these shoes -
These shoes are God's gift to wide shoes. However, they are just not wide enough, sorry to say. I can wear them, but only for about 10 minutes and then I can't feel my little toe. I guess I'll keep looking!

Most comfortable!!
The comfort of this shoe makes up for the Frankenstein look. And if you wear slacks much of the show remains hidden.

Roomy enough for me!
A nice shoe and a great relief for me to find a mary jane style that #1 accommodates my orthotics and #2 is roomy enough for my high (read "thick") instep. So roomy, in fact, that I was considering putting in one of the two removable insoles back in on top of my orthotics, but that would've put my heel too high. With my size 10 wide feet, the shoe looks kind of big and clunky coming out of the box (what shoe of this type wouldn't?), but it looks very nice on. Also, not as snugly supportive as my other shoes for my orthotics, but those are lace-up walker style shoes.
I'd also recommend:

Not Quite - Very good craftsmanship and a good color, but for my feet the toes would have to be wider and the heel narrower. The toe width might have worked, but the heel was much too wide for the shoe to stay on.

Great Look Shabby Hook -
Bought these months ago and barely got any wear (lived in Florida where I mostly wore sandals). Finally got to give them a workout. Wonderfully comfortable, great workmanship on the overall shoe. Excellent support (I've had foot surgery). BUT after only about a dozen wearings, the hook that holds the strap snapped. It's plastic. And no amount of plastic glue (or anything else I can think of) has worked on mending it. Really shabby for the money spent.

These were a size too small. I wear a 9 and there's no way I could wear these. Way too short. The black bottom section is a funky kind of material. Not a good kind of funky! Looks like smooth, dull rubber trying to look like leather. The inside soles seem very comfortable though. Kind of hard to tell since they ran so small.

My 89-year old diabetic mother needed shoes to fit her hard-to-fit feet. These shoes are perfect for her in that they have a slip-resistant bottom and are easy to get on. Mother's feet are very wide and locally nothing is available; the Mary Jane straps make them easy for her to get on and they, according to her, are very comfortable. A good buy.

Most comfortable shoes I've worn - ever. After years of use my previous pair of these began shedding pieces of sole, which appears to be memory foam, . I was very happy to find them again and am enjoying their comfort and the appearance which compliment my feet.

Drew Bloom II Mary Jane Shoes are the best shoes. I had foot surgery in both of my feet in 2008. I've been wearing these shoes ever since. The removal able dual insert arch support and foot bed liner are great as they can be hand washed to keep them fresh. The two pair I just purchased are the 7th pair I've purchased. Zappos makes buying them a breeze and if they do not fit they pay the return shipping. What could be better?

These are excellent shoes. They are very comfortable and supportive, especially if your feet have a tendency to swell. The deep depth is truly double any other shoe I've worn. When my feet aren't swollen they can be a bit lose, but then you can tighten the strap. I miss the Mary Anns that were not so high and the scoop was cut a bit lower as they were more dressy. The strap had elastic, but buckled. I do have to be careful not to catch my nylons on the velcro. You can do that by raising the strap as far as you can. It stays up there, while it's new anyway. They are high enough for light snow but not enough tread to wear by themselves for snow. I usually order a EEE in regular depth shoes and the WW is fine with the deep depth.

Oh, my, gosh! These shoes fit me! Finally I've found a shoe that works for my very wide, flat foot with a high instep. Even with both insoles that this comes with I can put in my orthotics and they fit. Not only fit, but are comfortable. Thank you! I love you Zappos! Thanks to everyone who gave detailed reviews that helped me choose this shoe. Of course, now I found it, it will go out of production. It's what happened with my wonderful Aetrex Essence Emmas that I loved. Still holding on to them despite their worn condition. I broke my leg last year too and a good solid shoe is an absolute necessity.
