A great casual shoe -
This is my second pair of Bloom IIs. I've been wearing the first pair for years and it's a wonderful shoe. High wide toe box, virtually indestructible sole/heel and I get compliments on them all the time.

Good shoes -
I really like them! I put them on for the first time and wore them non-stop for 3 days without any trouble. I did, however, adjust the insoles since I have orthotics. With this adjustment, they were quite comfortable. They were a little wide in the heel, but I have exceptionally narrow heels, so that's to be expected.

Found what I needed at Zappos -
Zappos is the gold standard for customer service (and selection and price). I use the reviews but have never written one. But when Zappos asked, how could I say no? This shoe solved my problem and if not for Zappos’ selection, thorough description, and search modes, I would not have found it. Due to a big toe injury, I now need just a little extra depth in that area. I didn't know extra depth shoes existed until searching Zappos. By simply removing the inner/second insole from Drew’s Bloom II, I got the extra depth I needed and a totally comfortable shoe suitable for my work environment. My right big toe and I are very happy with the shoe, and as always, with Zappos.

Salvation for a senior -
After a fall, break, surgery and rehab, my senior mom developed foot problems (including an ulcer.) From another state, I needed to find a shoe that provided solid support & comfort for a size 11: something easy to get on/off, able to accommodate swelling in an unusually narrow foot and attractive (enough.) Tall order, but this is it. The medium gave her instant relief. The ulcer cleared. I ordered another in bone. Okay, style-wise it's not my cup of tea but anyone who's been in pain knows comfort is a beautiful thing.
To this already lengthy review, I must add my thanks to the wonderful, kind and merry crew at Zappos. Got them there in a day, helped me every step of the way. Kudos to the phone staff (didn't have great luck on live chat.) Is there a friendlier, fairer or more efficient group anywhere? Imagine a government that worked this well & cared this much about people! If they were on the ticket, I'd vote for the Zappos Party in '08.

Great shoe -
What a terrific shoe. It does seem to run a bit big, so I ordered a half size down as suggested by other reviewers, and they were great from minute one. I never thought of myself as the Mary Jane type, but I think these are really cute and the Taupe color is a lovely neutral that works with many outfits. As usual, fantastic service from Zappos too.

Excellent -
I am on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day always moving and I have never owned a more comfortable shoe, I love these shoes and will not hesitate to order another pair. Everyone I work with has asked me where I got those adorable shoes and I have given the website Zappos to every one of them.

Great shoe -
This is a wonderfully comfortable shoe. They are one of the prettiest orthopedic shoes I've found.

Cute shoe for problem feet -
I have bunions & also osteo arthritis in the bones on the tops of my feet which make it very difficult to find shoes that do not cause some type of pain. Drew Shoes are different from a lot of others because they use different "lasts" for different styles of shoes. A last is the mold of the shape of the shoe. The Bloom II shoe is made with a "16" last which has a broad toe & shank areas. Other lasts will fit differently depending on the shape of the shoe. It is important to find out what type of "last" fits your foot in order to get a proper fit. If you go to "Drewshoes.com" you can see the different types of lasts they make their shoes from. Because the Bloom II is wider and higher in the toe area I was able to buy a 1/2 size smaller than I usually do in order to get the correct fit. Also this shoe has 2 inserts one of which I removed to make the shoe fits looser until I broke them in. I no longer have any foot pain when wearing this shoe & have purchased both the nubuck & black ones. So many people have commented on how nice these maryjanes look & want to know where I bought them. I tell them Zappos! Zappos has been so good at letting me return shoes. I have to laugh at the expression on the UPS man's face as he delivers another pair of shoes from Zappos to my door!

Drew Rocks!!!
Drew makes a great shoe. And I am so happy to find orthopedic type shoes that look good and come in narrow widths. I will be wearing orthotics and this will work fine. And with the velcro close it is easy to adjust the size for different types of socks.

Bloom II shoe -
I read several reviews for the type shoe I was interested in, and then spoke to a Zappos customer service person, who suggested the Drew line. I ordered the Bloom II, and they are so comfortable. The shoe is deep enough so that the strap doesn't rub on my instep and it's wider, so that my foot feels secure. It has enough support for my sales job, on concrete floors 8 hrs/day, and the toe box is roomy enough to wiggle my toes. I was afraid it might look clunky, but it doesn't, I was happy about that! Now my feet and arches don't ache at the end of the day. I'm very happy with the shoes, thank you so much Zappos!

Finally a shoe for difficult feet!
For years I have suffered with bunions and now a hammer toe. This is the first shoe that I have comfortably been able to wear. It has two layers of insoles that are removable. Allowing me to find the right depth for my difficult hammer toe to fit into. And while I felt I was wearing "granny shoes" my daughters in their 20's told me they were cute and I was in style!

Comfy and roomy enough for custom orthotics -
Very pleased! Extremely comfortable and roomy enough for my custom orthotics. I can wear all day with no problems. Velcro strap makes adjustment easy. I've had LOTS of trouble finding a comfortable shoe and this one feels great. Felt larger than marked but that is a plus for my orthotics.

Comfortable but noisy -
These shoes are extremely comfortable, but they squeak loudly with every step! Reluctantly, I sent them back.

Very comfortable shoe -
Comfortable and cute. Can be worn with a skirt, slacks or jeans. I walked one mile the first day I wore them and forgot I had new shoes on. I would highly recommend Drew shoes and intend to buy them again.

Great shoe -
I bought these to wear in London and Paris for long days walking. I wore them with pants, jeans, and skirts. The shoes were very comfortable. The strap caused no problems. I could have used a little more support for over pronation, but other than that no complaints.

Great Shoe -
This is the first Drew shoe I've worn, and I liked it so much I purchased the Drew Paradise II in another color. I have the Drew Bloom II in black for more dressy occasions, but it can be worn with just about everything.
I'm a senior citizen with problem feet. I walk a good mile every day and these shoes are very comfortable. I like not having to bother with laces as my feet swell and there's plenty of room in these shoes to accommodate the problems with my feet.

Really comfortable right from the start. Best part is the removable insole! You can insert arch supports and reinsert the ones that came with the shoe or not. Also allows wear of heavy or thinner socks/stockings because of velcro strap or use of insole or none. I was concerned about buying a new-to-me brand sight un seen, but these shoes are great!

I ordered this shoe to accommodate by foot/ankle brace which needs extra room in width. This shoe worked and the velcro strap allows me to tighten the shoe on my non-brace foot, while using more of the strap on the brace foot. Many shoes that I thought would work had too short of a over-the-foot strap to handle my brace.

These shoes are very comfortable for me and do great with my orthotics. I ended up returning my first pair for 1/2 size smaller and they fit much better. Zappos has outstanding customer service! One small difficulty is that the gray veneer on the soles seems to be peeling off. There may be an easy fix for this but I don't have one yet.

I'm a hairdresser and on my feet all day. I really like these shoes. I do have to wear Superfeet insoles in all my footwear, but I think these are comfortable even without the insoles. What would I change? I would trade the plastic type sole for a rubber one. They don't seem to have much grip to the floor. I feel like I'm sort of slipping and slidding accross the polished tile or marble floor. Walking on carpets and sidewalks are not an issue. The other issue I have is that they really are not meant to get wet. My shoes are looking quite spotty already and it's only been a month.

I have to return this shoe because it is just too wide for my foot. The forefoot fits but the sides gap and heel slips so badly I can walk out of the shoe.

I ordered these because they were rated highly for arch support. I was quite surprised to find that they are flat inside! Put them on and took them off immediately and back in the box they go for return! Plus they look cuter in the picture. Definitely "grandma shoes".

I'm sorry, but these shoes are just ugly. They seemed fairly comfortable except the strap hurt the top of my foot. I decided to return them and order a different shoe style. Thanks to Zappos' excellent customer service I will not hesitate to keep trying until I find the right shoe for my needs.

These shoes are OK, but not great. Biggest drawback is that the rectangular metal buckle cuts into the skin if you're not wearing socks, i.e., with nylons or bare feet. On the plus side, they have a roomy toe box and removable insoles A bit heavy and clunky on the foot. The foot doc says they're good for me, but I hope to do better next time.
