I bought these boots as a nice replacement for my Timbs. They are much warmer than my usual construction Timbs, way more comfortable, and way more stylish. I am very happy with my purchase and if i had to do it all over I'd make the same choice.

This shoes has a unique style, comfort fit, and can be use for many things form climbing a mountain to walking on the red carpet. I have to say I like this shoe a lot. When you buy it you would be glad you listen. P.S. The shoe looks best when wearing boot-cut pants.
I'd also recommend:
You really can't recommend another brand from Asolo. Asolo is the top boot producing company in my opinion. Once you have one your probably going to buy another one in a different color.

These boots are awesome! Out of the box very comfortable. I work heavy duty construction and use these daily. Good ankle support for uneven terrains and cushioned with each step. Maybe a little warm, but no worse than any other boot I've owned.

Much narrower than expected, particularly since I ordered the 'wide' version. If you like this boot but have wider feet, look at the Asolo Fugitive GTX instead. Nice quality boot.

I recently bought a pair of these boot for my five day trek across Peru, they were great and comfortable. I did get a blister on the back of my foot just above my heels but I did not have much time to break them in, and I do think their sizes are not aligned with US standards, but for the most part I was very pleased with them. They feature good construction and are very durable.

I love my Asolo FSNs and wanted to love these but the connector piece between the tongue and the rest of the boot was crazy thick and dug into my ankle to the point of driving me nuts. Otherwise these boots actually seemed superior to the FSNs in height, breath-ability, and grip. Oh well. Maybe if you're taller your ankle is up higher.
