Earth Shoe disappointment - I have bought earth shoes before and found 1 good 1 bad, this is my 3rd purchase and the height of the arch and the height of the opening is not sufficient for my feet so this shoe is too tight over the top of my foot. In addition, you can only wear this shoe for a short time due to getting used to the negative heel. I found 4 hours a max for me.

Not enough support - I liked the idea of the shoe... but it didn't pan out for me. Yes, it made me feel like I was walking barefoot, which is fine for an hour or so. But after a few hours walking hospital floors (at work, which is why I bought them), my heels were killing me (and I don't have "bad feet"). I couldn't wait to take them off...

Almost impossible to get it on - I am finding it almost impossible to get my foot into this shoe. The entrance is very tight even after I took the laces off. Once I have got it on, it is OK, but it is also almost impossible to get it off. I have a couple of Earth shoes that I like but this one was a waste of money because it is so difficult to get it on.

Nice, but not on gravel - These shoes are short-lived walking on anything but pavement. The wide margined soles allow rocks to get imbedded and tear into the thin underlayment. I am very disappointed with the thin construction between the ridged raised soles. After every walk I have to dig out the rocks which drive holes all the way thru the bottoms.

The lazer earth shoe - I thought the logic behind the technology in the "negative heel" sounded good, but by the end of the first week - my back hurt. I didn't wear them for another week and tried again, by the end of the second day (2nd try) not only did my back hurt again, but my feet hurt too! I can't recommend these. I'm very disappointed.

It is impossible to get these shoes on. The entrance is too small; the sides of shoe are too soft. There is nothing to "push against" to get these shoes on. I am really disappointed because I have trusted my other Earth shoes but I don't think anyone could be happy with this new design.

Earth's Lazer review - These shoes are probably great for the right person but they are not good for me. I wish I could return them and get my money back. My feet hurt every time I wear them.

I bought these shoes because I had been searching for a pair of navy blue oxfords to replace my worn-looking Clarks' navy oxfords. The rave reviews sold me. The shoes immediately felt comfortable. However, when driving and by day's end, the bottoms of my feet would hurt. Also, my little toes would hurt from friction, because the shoes are a little on the wide side. I continued to wear the shoes and developed soreness in my heel. I went to the podiatrist, who directed me to immediately discontinue wearing them. He said the shoes caused the problem and that this particular shoe design is not good for one's foot. I felt compelled to share this information.
