I really like these shoes. I have a neuropathhy from and subluxed metatarsal head in one foot. I am a health care provider and am on my feet all day. I have spend a small fortune on other quality shoes, but by the end of the day my foot and back ached, sapping my energy for life after work. With these shoe my foots feeling better as is my back, and I don\'t mind running errands after work as my feet are comfortable. Only problem no dark color shoe was available in my size and the light color is messing quickly. I will definitly order a darker color and try other Earth shoes and sandals.

I have bad feet (bunions, flat feet) and only wear Earth shoes. This style surprised me because I didn't realize that the tie only snugs up the fit. Therefore the tongue behaves (it is not separate), and it is actually a slip-on! I shove my foot in over the folded-down back, then pull the back up in place with the attached loop. I have worn these shoes daily for three months, and they have held up well. They are extremely comfortable. I prefer them to my Earth slippers. They are very quiet to walk on hard floors. I have helped two relatives with new babies lately, and no one hears me coming down the hall (nice when new mom is sleeping & you need to change the baby nearby). The soles and uppers are soft and flexible. In fact, the soles are so flexible that they allow my flat feet too much movement. I have to add my orthotics. When I do, the shoes are perfect for everyday wear. I would not use them for working out or fitness walking- not enough support. Before I proceed, I will tell you that I am on the website to buy another pair! The only negative I have found is in cleaning. I attempted to wash the uppers with water. I got them pretty wet. Since it is microfiber, I thought I could scrub them. They came clean, and I left them outside to dry. They dried with a dark stain on the the high spots of the suede. I have the bay (light green) and the stain was darker green, and looked like moss! The shoes were completely dry within 12 hours, so it was not actual moss. I wiped them down again with a damp rag, and it helped. I didn't get them as wet, and by the time they dried, the discoloration was only apparent at the toe line, and was not unattractive. I will limit future cleaning to damp wiping, and not flood them again.
