Negative: Not much ankle support. It makes a weird rubbery sloshing sound when I walk in them, maybe I just have a bad pair but I find it limits the way my foot naturally bends when walking.
Positive: It fits well for larger calves since it doesn't rise as high as most rain boots, and it looks great. Good traction for snow too.

I love my Skerry rainboots! I usually wear between an 8 and an 8 1\/2, so I went with the 8 and they fit just fine! I wear them around on my college campus, my feet stay warm and dry, and they look very cute.

The boots: love them. Comfy, cozy insides. Fun yellow color. Waterproof to keep my toes dry. Zappos: easy ordering, delivery always far beyond my expectations, quick! Free shipping both ways! And the easiest return policy and process of any company ever. I'll keep shopping at Zappos regularly and I recommend Zappos to everybody!

These boots are great, very warm and durable. Sizes are very accurate, I\'m a 7.5 and got the 38, fits like a glove.

I recently moved to Boston and needed a good pair of rain boots that were comfortable enough to walk around the city. I got a size 37 which fits my 6.5 foot perfectly. Comfortable for the most part, but I do have one complaint. The top of the boot comes at the bottom of my calves (which are big) and rubs my against them and becomes uncomfortable after awhile. Other than that, they're great. Very nice quality and will hold up for a really long time.

These boots were very cute! They were not amazingly comfortable, but they weren\'t uncomfortable. They kept the water out through every rainstorm and most of the winter, until they tore on the inside seam. \r\n\r\nOverall, they were good boots for the money, but I bought Hunter boots this year.

Puddle Jumpers -
Great rainboots! My one critique is they are a little stiff & pull down ankle socks. I've worn them only a couple times so they may relax. Love the green color! Perfect height!

The best for narrow feet -
I have a size 10 narrow foot. Though the sole of the boot is cut pretty wide, it's actually much more snug across the top of the foot than any other rain boots I've found, including Hunter. This makes it the best, most secure fit I've encountered. There's no support, but the width of the foot bed allows me to slide in insoles for a perfect, supportive fit. They also have more width for tucking in your pants than Hunter, and are cut lower on the calf, which also makes tucking pants in less of a challenge. I suggest you order bigger than the European currency would suggest -- I wear a 41.

Very cute boot -
I actually purchased this boot based on the reviews. When it arrived, it was EXACTLY what I had been wanting and looking for. However, I have small feet (size 5) and I got the 35 (which is US 5) and it was entirely too large. I tried thicker socks, but no luck. I am so disappointed to return these boots because they are really very cute.

I love these boots! They are lightweight and feel more like a wearing a pair of sneakers than rain boots. I love wearing them when I walk my dogs- they keep me tick free, with dry feet, and I get the comfort of wearing sneakers. I love them so much that when they got leaks after 6 months of owning them, I figured it was something I did to them so I got a second pair exactly the same. However, when the second pair started to leak, and I noticed cracks in the rubber, after only four months, and only little wear, I decided it was time to write Zappos. This is why I love Zappos, they said that they would accept the return. Even though I would love to get a third pair, I have to go by the old saying 'fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.' So no more of this model for me, but I will try a different style of sneaker like boots.

Overall the rain boots is comfortable, but if leaving the boots in the water to long, the water can be felt seeping in. Not completely waterproof.

I like the look of this boot, and it did keep my feet cozy and dry while waiting for the bus. However, I would not buy it again, because the liner came loose and started to bunch up in the boot whenever I would put them on. It was very uncomfortable. I finally took the liners out, but now the boots are pretty loose.

Would have returned these if I hadn't had to have them for a trip. Sloppy, loose fit and completely flat sole make them difficult to walk in, even with extra socks. Wish there were a way to bring the shaft more snug around my calf. They keep the water out, have a sturdy bottom, and are warm enough.

Really happy with these boots! Reasonably priced. I didn't want anything too fancy. They aren't necessarily a comfort shoe for long walks, but they will keep my feet nice and dry. I'm happy!

I wore these shoes through and through. Super comfy. Wonderfully cute in yellow, and the perfect pick-me-up for rainy day weather. After a while my friends learned to pick me out in a crowd by spotting these boots. I wish they were better made, however; they lasted less than two years. They started cracking and tearing on the sides where they have to bend with the ball of your heel, and though I desperately tried to mend them with duct tape it was just no good. So while adorable and great while they lasted, don't expect this shoe to remain a staple forever.

Nice boot, however it didn't pass the Alaska test. I used these boots with snow, rain and mud; they really had a good grip, but after 3 months the plastic was already drying out, and a large hole started at fold. Not for heavy duty.

Used to be waterproof -
I fell in love with these boots when I saw them on a girl on the street and asked her where she got them. I anxiously bought these boots less than a year ago from zappos, and after a handful of rainfalls and one big snowstorm, one of the boots has a tiny crack along the seam, making my left foot completely wet when walking through slush or puddles. What good are rain boots when they're no longer waterproof after less than a season's wear? So disappointed!

First, Zappos.com has great customer service! Now, on to the shoe: After braving through New York city streets in Converse sneakers in the 12 inch snow, I realized that I need some type of waterproof footwear and looking through the reviews, I thought this was my best fit. I got them and I think that they are nice, but definitely do not get the navy blue. The color doesn't look as good as it does online. And they look alright, but I definitely would prefer wearing anything else if it wasn't snowing like hell or raining like crazy.

These boots worked great, got tons of compliments on them (had them in the yellow), until they cracked around the toes. Bummer. I don't think I got nearly enough wear out of them for how much I paid, but for the time I did have them I really enjoyed them.

Very disappointed that after owning these boots for only 7 months, the right boot leaks copiously. Especially bummed because these are, hands down, the most adorable rubber boots...ever. I got bright yellow, and I receive compliments on them literally every single time I wear them, which is a couple times a week. It's been raining a lot lately though, and now that they're not functional, I may just have to trash them. Big bummer.

Points to consider: 1. I live in Los Angeles (not much rain). 2. Wore these for about a week straight in the UK. 3. Had these for 2 rainy seasons. Probably wore them a maximum of 30 times. After 30 days of wear, not consecutively, there were cracks in the rubber, especially my left shoe. After another 10 - nonconsecutive - days of wear, those cracks had become open slats when I walked, therefore making my feet completely open to the elements. Less than two months of wear over the course of Maybe 18 months, and they have become a convertible rain boot, essentially. Extremely annoying when for slightly more you can get Hunter boots that last nearly a lifetime with rigorous use. If your toe just barely touches the end of the shoe, they stretch a significant amount (for some reason).

Boots do not last! I love these boots for the fit, the look, and comfort but they have not worn well! My first pair I had for 2 months and they split along the seam- Zappos was nice enough to replace them (thank you!) but my second pair has only lasted 5 months! I only wear them on wet days for about 20 minutes while I take dogs for walk. Both pairs split along the top edge of white rubber, meaning they leak when at all wet.

These worked really well for the first 6 months or so. They did not withstand a Wisconsin winter and cracked by February. I had to send them back and will try a different brand.

I bought these shoes in winter of 2007-2008. Shoes felt true to size and width. However, I bought these shoes for winter in Chicago. I would wear these boots to class and wait for public transportation, but the boots did not keep my feel warm. The shoes were uncomfortable to walk in. There is not much inner support for walking. Shoes worked for taking the dog for a quick walk but nothing else. I bought the shoes because of the price, style and reviews. I would not recommend these shoes for a winter boot

I purchased this Tretorn boot after a great investment in time searching for a PVC free rubber boot. Within about 6 months or 150 hours of moderate use they developed crack patterns and holes in the upper at flexing points that appear due to rubber fatigue. This appears to be a materials specifying or manufacturing defect. I see the boot as a very poor value for people who need to keep their feet active in wet conditions.
