I really liked the look of this boot & after reading the reviews decided to order a half size up of my normal size. After a few wears they still felt too tight and would hurt my toes. The opening is also very wide/big and snow could easily get inside this boot. After a handful of times wearing hoping they would grow on me, alas they were not a good fit for me & I had to return them. Additionally, the little reflector around the top of the boot started to wear off and look cracked immediately.

I bought Hunter glossy boots instead and LOVE them!

Immediately cut into back of my foot everytime I wore them (half way down the block even with thick socks on) so had to get rid of them unfortunately but excellent quality and will keep you 100% dry and warm. On the heavy side and a bit clumsy even tho they were the right size but they are cute.

I got these about a year ago, and liked them at first. The height is a bit awkward, I think tall boots are more elegant. But after less than a month of wear I started to notice leaking. They cannot withstand very much bending at all, and split along the seam of the top and the sole. I still wear them in the snow, but they are completely useless when there are puddles out. I am disappointed; I suppose I should have expected as much given the price point.

I work in NYC and I walk a lot. These boots were extremely comfortable and were cute enough to wear with a skirt. Unfortunately, these boots survived less than 1 year. They ripped at the seam near the back. Also, with all of my walking, the tread on the bottom wore quickly and the boots were slippery, which defeats the point of a rain boot.

While they are comfy, they are truly not appealing to the eye. They look bulky and tacky.

These boots were comfortable and cute and I liked them a lot at first, but they didn't last long. I got them at Xmas time and by May the back seams of both had failed near the heel. Granted, I wore them a lot, but I want a boot that lasts more than five months!

I got these rain boots for Christmas, and they were my favorite pair of boots I've ever had. I've only had them for 5 months, and the rubber has already broken. I am beyond annoyed because I didn't even wear the boots that often. Now when I walk in the rain, water pours into the lining and soaks the interior fur, matting it. It's awful. I just wish there was a warranty so I could my money back or at least get a new pair.

I really enjoyed this boot...until it got wet! This rain boot is not waterproof. I'm quite disappointed.

I initially loved these boots, however, they chafed my calves and blistered/scarred them - so wear them with tall socks! I've also had these for less than a year and one boot has started coming apart at the seams.

Don't last very long. Rubber cracks and you get holes. No one wants holes in rain boots...it leads to wet feet!

Did not like these at all. They're cute, but too stiff difficult to walk up and down stairs. Very wide around calf.

If I had written a review prior to this week, I would have raved about these boots. They are comfortable, easy to slip on, keep out the water and are pretty darn cute too. However, while hiding Easter eggs on Sunday, I noticed an occasional wet feeling to the top of my feet. I have not used these boots very often over the 3 years I have owned them so I never expected them to have cracks in the tops of the boots that are allowing moisture into them. I am very disappointed in how they have held up. I had heard about the high quality of Tretorn boots but I won't be buying another pair.

I saw Tretorns around the Boston area a few years ago and fell in love with their design immediately. For the past two years I have purchased two pairs of Tretorns each Spring season - not because of how they fit or the fact that I thought they could stand up to Boston's rainy/chilly weather, but because of my stubbornness of loving their style. Not only were these shoes not particularly comfortable - the fluff/fuzz inside gets between your toes even when wearing socks, but the rubber goes from being stiff to cracking where your foot bends often. I know this because I was a fool and bought these shoes twice. I should have called it quits and realized that the second pair was going to crack and break just like my first had. Do not buy these shoes for everyday wear. They are not worth it.

I loved these boots but they cracked and started leaking within just a few months. Very disappointed.

I loved these boots; however, after just under a year both feet started leaking. I was very disappointed because I loved the bright yellow and the style and spent enough on them that I expected them to last much longer.

I have owned two pairs of this model. The first sprung a leak in the first month, and the second pair split after about 4 months of wear. Very unfortunate as I am in love with this style. Great company, but too bad the shoes are now made in China and not as sturdy.

I am so disappointed in these boots. After one year of purchase and minimal wear they sprung a leak! A leak that makes thee boots useless as my foot gets soaked in anything stronger than a drizzle. I would never buy or recommend these boots.

I purchased these boots less than 6 months ago, and LOVED them. I originally ordered them in a size too small so I returned them easily and got my correct size shipped soon after. I had been wearing them for about a month or 2 when I started to notice that the side of my foot felt cold...I thought maybe it was just outside temp (since they aren't well insulated)...I only seemed to notice it once in a while. Anyway, I just noticed a HUGE rip in the seam along one side of the boot the other day (between the side of the boot and the rubber sole)! This also happened to a pair of cheap rain-boots I purchase a while back (which was expected but actually outlasted these by about a year). These boots are so cute, but must not be constructed very well. (I use them only for walking around the city...they are not abused by any means). :(
