Great boots! Nice and warm and perfect height for wearing with slacks or tights. These boots keep your feet really warm, so they can be a little uncomfortable on hot, humid days if you wear them with really thick socks.

I really liked these boots. Since I'm a college student living on campus, I do a lot of walking, even in rain. These boots definitely came in handy. I got a size larger than usual (I take a 7-7 1/2 usually but I got an 8) so I could wear thick socks with them and wear them in the snow during winter (note: I do live in NC, so, if we do actually get snow it’s not much). I probably didn't need to because they are a wider shoe, and the part that goes around your leg is wide too. Overall though, I'm happy with the quality and product in general.

These are great boots! Color is true to picture. They keep out the moisture and are not flimsy. They only problem was the sizing was wrong (she size did not match to size chart) and I had to return them for the next size up. Otherwise- perfect.

I love these Tretorn boots. They have just enough room so you can tuck your pants into them. Good all year round. My only complaint is that they used to be fur-lined.

These boots are the perfect height. They're super soft inside, so you can wear them without socks if you want.very cute although they look a lot more grey than olive unless you're in bright sunlight, which is ironic. They are also more round than I could tell from the pictures - they make my feet look like a calvin and hobbes character. So if you want something chic and womanly, you might keep looking. But if you want something simple, cozy and cute, stop here!

I ordered my usual size and they fit perfect. The one size up was huge and klunky even with thick socks. I am returning because they were still a little big in the ankle for my liking and also a little shorter than I wanted.

I bought these boots to trudge through Cleveland snow drifts and puddles. They're just the right height to protect your pants (if you tuck them in!) from getting soggy and are pretty much impossible to scuff. They still look like new and are trendy enough to wear to work or just walking the dog. They don't offer much ventilation (as rubber boots go) and my toes get a little chilly if I don't wear thick enough socks in the winter, but they're easy to kick on or off and do exactly what they're supposed to...i.e. keep you dry and stylish!

These boots are a great fit for me and that's saying a lot for me and my size 11 feet. Not a lot of arch support but not super flat either. I bought these for rain and snow. However, we recently got about 30 inches of snow and for me just digging out my front steps my feet felt pretty cold even with the lining and heavy socks. So for me these will probably be used primarily for those rainy days and maybe snow that's only about 3-4 inches. I really do like them and the bright yellow color is really great.

I gave these a 5-star review last year because although they cracked within months, the low 5" height and great tread pattern made them a perfect barn boot - easy on, and don't track mud (and muck). But when they started leaking, I decided it was time for new. Now, they only come in a 10" height - harder to put on, hotter in the summer, less comfortable. Fortunately, the lining is glued to the rubber, so sturdy sharp scissors will get them back to the proper height. A comfortable, cheap boot that does not last.

I just received these (so cannot vouch for how well they hold up) but so far they are comfortable and good-looking. They run very large, however. I am a solid 7 with med-narrow feet and the 38 is so large I'll need two pairs of socks.

These boots are super comfortable, with much more padding under your foot than a lot of other rubber boots. They were so comfy that I wore them at least 1-3 times/week for the year I owned them before I had to throw them out. Unfortunately, after only 6 months of wearing them that often, they had cracks in several places and weren't waterproof anymore at all. My LaCosse rubber boots lasted way longer than that, so I wish Tretorn would improve the quality of their materials. I think you are paying for the look/style, rather than high quality.

I really liked this boot, but I had to return it because I have a high instep, which is not normally a problem with most shoes but the shape of this boot slopes off very quickly and that put too much pressure on the top of my foot.
Felt true to size in all other aspects.

I wanted these to work for me. I tried them in two sizes. I have a wide foot, and a high instep. These are really tight around the foot, despite ordering up in size. They're nice looking boots, but I couldn't justify them on that basis - I need boots I can slip in and out of, and ones that will last beyond just a few seasons. I think I'm going to go with a men's boot instead, for better, more practical fit.

The boots' look is obviously great. Here's my beef: I wore them for 3 rainy seasons. So that's like what, a total of 30-40 days wear? And do you know what those little buggers did?! They cracked on the top of the shoe where one bends their foot to walk. Wouldn't you think shoe companies would've figured there would be a lot of bending on that area and made a rubber to withstand all the walking? Ridiculous. Sadly, I'm in love with these boots. I might contact Tretorn personally, because as I know they're not the price of Hunter boots, they shouldn't go kaput so quickly and in such a way that makes me think they weren't ever trying to make a shoe to walk in. Just waddle or stand in. Bonkers.

I bought these on sale from here because at Eddie Bauer they were way more money plus shipping. Too much for me to pay for a rainboot. I love the color, it's a great bold pop, especially paired with a black top & jeans. I wear an 8.5 but didn't really plan to wear them w socks so I got the 39. 39 is my usual EU size anyway. They fit fine. They are a little warmer than I expected because of the thin lining, makes your feet kind of sweaty but I've worn them w socks & the fit is still okay. I know there have been a lot of complaints about the quality of this shoe but I took a chance since I only planned to wear them through rainy season & I'm not out digging ditches in the yard, ya know. But I will tell you, I was really disappointed with one thing. The thin line that goes around the top of the boot is actually a thin strip of reflective material. When I first got them, the strip didn't even meet up correctly in the back (like one side was overlapping the other & kind of wonky) & it was already coming up a little. I didn't even touch it because I knew that with a little handling, that strip would be all the way up off the boot & I'm scared of what it will leave. Maybe just residue from (poor) glue or maybe something worse. But what poor quality. If these shoes were intended for serious use, those reflective strips would be gone in no time. Since I'm really just taking my kids to school & running errands, I kept 'em.

Right size right fit but if you have a latex allergy watch out. I just get a rash so it's not all that serious but I can't return them now so I have to wear high socks.

Zappos rocks, but these rainboots don't. They have no arch support and not enough cushioning, which is too bad since they're really cute. But the soles are super flat and I'm returning them.

Does not hold heat well. Wear warm socks!
Sizes run big. I am an 8 and had to get a 6.
Not impressed.

The yellow is very yellow. I was hoping for a warmer yellow, but this is a sour lemon/lime color. I had ordered Skerry Vinter Tretorn in grey, and I'm keeping those. (The Vinters felt more true to size, also.)

I just returned these. They're very cute, however, if you foot tends to be narrow, it will slide around especially in the heel. I ordered up a size. I'm normally a 7 and ordered an 8 and the length was fine. I tried adding a Spenco athletic insole which helped some, but it still wasn't that comfortable.I also ordered the Tretorn Skerry Resling, which is a taller boot with a similar look, and the fit was better for some reason. I also added the insole.

These boots are cute, made well, and love that they are mid calf, but everything about the fit is just wrong. They are so hard to walk in, it feels like you are walking barefoot or worse. I used them to walk my dogs and my back and feet were aching! I liked how they looked so I tried putting insoles and it helped a bit, but not worth it after paying for these. These are going back to Zappos!

Bought these as work boots for irrigation repair. Got them and good fit and were waterproof at first. About 6 weeks in they had developed cracks where the boot bends when I walk, near the toe area. At 8 weeks the top rubber part separated from the white sole area about an inch long. If you want these to look cute or not for everyday use, they can be good but if you're looking for solid, dependable work boots, look elsewhere.
I'd also recommend:
Muck or Bogs are hopefully longer lasting.

I have had two pairs in two years -- both busted at the seam after about a month. Love the style, but just can't bring myself to buy another pair knowing that they will only last a few wears.

I bought these boots to wear when walking the dog in the rain. They do not work for walking, just for standing in rain. Your socks do not stay up at all and soon you are walking on your socks which is very uncomfortable. I have heard this from others with these boots. They look good, but are not meant to walk in.

I wore these boots 4 times and just today (on the 4th wear) they leaked. What a bummer. I don't know if I got a wonky pair, or if the overall quality is sketchy. That said...if they wouldn't have leaked, I would probably give them 4-5 stars. I like the look of them, that they are 100% natural rubber and the overall fit. If you have larger calves like I do, these work well and can easily fit over skinny jeans. The arch is a bit odd as it pushes down on the top of your foot. It's not painful, just a little annoying at first. That said, I think they are purposely designed that way so that your foot doesn't slip out. The inner lining is nice and soft, so that you don't need socks. Your feet stay warm, too. I'll see if another pair works. Either way, Zappos is the best!
