I couldn't wait to get these boots in the mail. When I finally did, I was a little surprised that the style of the leather looked a bit different than it seemed in the photo...a little shinier. However, I love these boots. They're amazing. Like other people said, the break-in process was painful, but not at the heel. It was really tight in the middle, to the point of me fearing that it might be cutting off my circulation. However, it has taken very little time, just wearing them around the house, and they are starting to feel much more comfortable. These are perfect, otherwise. I love them.

I have been wearing these for a few months now off and on and I am still in the breaking in process. I am debating if I should return them because of the pain they are giving me on my heels. There is a indent where my heel is which causes a lot of pain when walking and even sitting with them on. So every time I try to wear these all day long I get a blister on both my heels because of the indent. I really want to like these boots because they are the only pair I found on Zappos and other websites that I actually like but they are just so painful.

I had to return mine. I ordered the size I needed (confirmed by a recent trip locally) and the construction did not work with my instep. If you have had issues with instep room in the past, don't get your hopes up before you try these on; the tongue seam is agony for me despite the toe room.
