Bought these for my husband, I think they’re not as easy to get on and off as he’d like, so he doesn’t wear them often.

I have been purchasing Foamtreads slippers for years and was seeking to buy a new pair of Foamtreads Glendales to replace my existing ones, only to discover they are not in stock. As an alternative, the Regal was offered and after evaluating them online, they seemed to be a good choice. Upon placing my order, they promptly arrived within two days.
Unfortunately I quickly discovered that they do not offer the same arch support as my aging Glendales, nor are they as cushioning to the step. They are rather hard and I ultimately was forced to purchase additional padding to supplement their surprisingly thin insole.
I am not sure if it is unique to the Regal model, or if Foamtrends has changed manufacturing for their entire line-up, but either way, these are simply not as comfortable as my previous Foamtreads - which is why I had purchased them in the first place all those years ago.
After wearing them for less than a week, the heal portion of the Foamtreads insole has compacted to literally 1/16 of an inch and has zero cushion. Replacing with Dr. Scholes after ONE WEEK.
They seem to be solidly made, and still sport the same style, but slipper style (for men) seems to be an oxymoron anyway...
All said, I probably will not be seeking to purchase Foamtreads as replacements to these.

Ordered this shoe in wide. The box was marked wide, but the shoe was not the least bit wide. It looks a beautiful shoe if you get the right fit!

The slippers have a piece of elastic stretch fabric that is sewn in on the inside with the edges of that fabric left in a way that can irritate the foot. I have an old pair of very similar slippers in which the edges of the elastic fabric are embedded into the upper, so in those there is nothing to scratch my foot. That's how these should have been made, but weren't.

I was disappointed with these slippers. They were too small and cramped--I had to exchange them for a full size larger than what I usually wear. Even in the larger size, they are a bit tight. I cannot simply slide my feet into them, as I'd expect from slippers. I need to put a finger in the back or even use a shoehorn. They feel much more like shoes than slippers: stiffer than I expected, and without a soft lining that would make them comfortable without socks.

I bought these slipper in June 2021 as a replacement for the pair my father has worn for 2 years. He loved the old o es. Something has changed. The soles on these are different and after 1 month the have stretched out and are floppy. I can’t have my 87 year old father falling because of floppy slippers. Back they go

The wide size that I ordered seemed more narrow than regular size. They were way too narrow. Not wide at all.

The way in which these slippers are sewn creates an extremely uncomfortable area on each side of the instep that rubs each time a step is taken.

As soon as I first tried them on out of the box, I felt extreme discomfort to both feet, and it wasn't because of the fit, which was fine, but because the stretch panels (two on each slipper) between the upper side area and the top of the slipper were made of a very stiff material and were not sewn in properly, so that the edges of the panels were very stiff and sharp, Those edges were cutting into my fett immediately. I had to take the slippers of within minutes or my feet would have been bleeding. The quality is abysmal. Don't buy!

I bought size 8W. I can't tell about the 8, because the slipper was so narrow I couldn’t jam my foot in. It probably is less than a D width. I wasn’t surprised that slippers were made in China, where every manufacturer ‘saves’ money by making the shoes too narrow, the shoes too short, the instep girth (circumference from middle of tongue around insole at the arch) too little, and sometimes the tongue too short.
It would be nice if the vendors would perform quality control and measure one shoe in ten using a last for that model and size shoe. Vendors should be the ones who reject incorrectly sized shoes, and we wouldn’t need to return half the shoes we order.
Ratings below:
I can’t tell is it was smaller than an 8.
It is much narrower than marked.
I never got my foot in, so I can’t tell about arch support. They’s slippers, so I don’t care.

This shoe fell apart in 2 months. The sole began to fray after a month. Now there is a lump in the back of the shoe from material that broke down on the heel stabilizer.
