I was seeking "house shoes". I differentiate these from "slippers" because, to me, slippers are sloppier and not as tight fitting or dignified. "House shoes" are nearly as comfy as slippers but are tighter to the foot - and look a bit more classy. Still, I would never wear house shoes out of the house. That said, this product fits the bill. They hug the foot, look shoe-like, yet are house-friendly and comfy. The negatives, in my humble opinion: - runs about a half-size too small. This is a real issue since the entire shoe is artificial material (no stretching or breaking in). - the image is not quite accurate. My black Foamtreads Regals arrived with a white outer sole which can easily be seen from the side. In my humble opinion, this cheapens the look. - this shoe is touted as being very comfortable. Even the name (Foam...) implies cushy softness. Truth is, I can easily feel the heel line across my sole with every step. Not a big deal, but not awesome. I had to wait for my 10s to be stocked before I purchased. I have just tried to order 10.5s and find them out of stock. I put in a notification order and am eagerly awaiting their arrival. All in all, I'd buy them again (until something better comes along).

These are really nice house shoes. Since I have a tendency to put on my slippers and twenty minutes later find myself outside in the yard or garage, the heavier sole on these make them perfect for me. They are comfortable and fairly easy to get on and off. The outer is soft and flexible never binds or pinches. The only problem with these shoes was some heavy glue in the heel that, upon wearing, broke into a thousand little pieces and got trapped behind the lining. A little surgery was in order and I extricated the glue giblets, about a tablespoonful. Will I buy another pair? Absolutely.

The slipper was a little stiff out of the box and I was looking for something softer and warmer. This is more of a general purpose house slipper - not necessarily good to keep out the winter chill. Moreover, the sizing is way off. I wear a 9W and ordered a 9W. I could barely get my feet in these - a full size too small. My wife mentioned it was probably that I wear thick socks, but other products advise to order a larger size when that's a factor. Returning and ordering a different style. Zappos return policy and shipping are the best!

I purchased 2 sizes as my feet are wide and sizes vary. Nevertheless the size 10 fitted fine and was wide enough. The Foamtreads work well as slippers although a touch rough inside from the feel of the material but not uncomfortable. I live in Phoenix so they are warm enough. I would buy them again. You can even do short trips outside like the mail or the garbage. The free shipping both ways worked seamlessly.

Comfort with first putting on. They do have the look of an old man shoe. Comfort wins out!

This is the second of 2 Foamtrends slippers in different styles I purchased for my husband who wears a 9 1/2 Wide. The first pair in 9 1/2 wide was too large, while this pair was too narrow. The shoes were marked 9 1/2 W on the box but not on the shoe itself. I'm re-ordering a 3rd pair in yet a different style and hopefully, like Goldilocks, the third will be just right.

Love the feel of Foamtreads. I have a velvet pair and my husband has a leather pair. Top of slippers holds up well. The thin rubber sole over the bottom does not. We both have slippers that look good from the top but the soles on the bottom are coming loose on both pairs. Not sure I would buy another pair until the manufacturer changes the type of sole that they use.

Not for my feet - These slippers are probably okay for most folks but the synthetic materials make my feet sweat terribly. There's also no insulation so for a cold climate they're probably not the best.

The wear quality was poor - the top fabric wore soon after purchase, the edge of the sole frayed, and the sole separated from the shoe later. I returned them for a full refund.

These slippers are really not worth this price! Showed wear on the tops from bending very soon. I wear them around the house, but also to the garage and occasionally just outside the house. Six months old and showing wear all over. Not a bargain, for sure!

After about a month and a half of wear, the rubber heel support disintegrated and started poking me in the heel, which was very uncomfortable. This occurred in both shoes. When I cut into the fabric over the heel support, I saw that it had totally fallen apart.

Garbage: Do not buy! I had great luck with a previous pair of Foamtreads, but since that exact model wasn't available, I figured these would do. However, the adhesive that affixes the toe of the sole to the upper has come loose on both slippers after only two weeks of moderate indoor wear. The slippers now appear frayed and ugly. The slippers are also picking up lint from carpets. I doubt these slippers will last a month since the upper and lower are already separating. Unfortunately, I've already disposed of the packaging, so I can't send them back for a refund. These slippers are awful - save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

This is my 3rd pair of these. Like them very much. Comfortable, durable and good looking.

Although I'm not crazy about the color, I'll be keeping them because they are so comfortable.

My husband has trouble with his ankles and needs a thicker heel which this slipper has. The size is great and he is so happy with the slippers

Great fitting shoes. True to size and comfortable. They look very stylish for slippers and are good for both indoor and light outdoor activities.

Perfect for my husband! Comfortable and warm, but with a good sole on the bottom that won't wear out easily. And of course, Zappos delivery and customer service are top-notch.

My 3 men all hv narrow feet...the mediums fit them perfectly. So good looking and are expensive looking as well as sooo comfy. I would buy these again...in fact I hv!

The slippers felt perfect. The size was just right. They are an excellent choice for everyday walking around the house, even going out on the deck or to the mailbox.

They fit fine, and size 14 are hard to find!

I purchased these for my Dad as he recovers from an illness. They are comfortable and apparently stylish because the nurses at the doctor office were complimentary and call then “Hugh Hefner” slippers.
