Years ago, I had a pair of huaraches that were soooo comfortable, cushioned, and supportive, I could walk all day in them. I've been looking for huaraches ever since, but keep hitting the same wall: There is absolutely no arch support. This shoe is true to size and width, has a very slight amount of cushioning, and no arch support. The leather is very stiff. These are fairly cute, but just not comfortable.

The leather is very thin & bonded to A backing, cheap looking, the strap across the foot is short & isn’t very long—I really liked the style & believed the reviews that the shoes ran narrow

I wear a size 5 most of the time but occasionally need a 5 -1/2. I ordered one of each. The 5 was a good length but the strap was too tight around the ankle. My ankles aren't thick but are not skinny either. The 5 - 1/2 was a little long and the strap was still too tight.

There's room in toe area but the ankle strap is too tight. Leather not as soft as expected.

I have a very narrow foot with long toes. The shoe was too wide on top and short in the toe. I need a longer toe bed and a very narrow heel. It does have an ankle strap so it stayed on the heel but because the toe was also wide and short, it was not right for my foot.

These are nice-looking sandals (although too girlish for me) and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the buckles are flimsy and very hard to fasten. Even the tooth is plastic. And they gap at the back. I am returning them.

I used to love these sandals--enough that I have bought them three times in the past 7 years. Unfortunately, the last pair are falling apart after less than one summer of wear. First the goring stretched out to the point of uselessness, then they started shedding threads and the leather straps are splitting. Now they also squeak something awful. I love the way they fit and I can walk around without socks all day immediately out of the box without blisters, but they just aren't durable enough any more. I'd rather they improve the quality of the materials and manufacturing and charge me a bit more than keep the same price and lower the quality. I'm disappointed to have to retire what had been my favorite style of sandals.

Bought the Tatianna by Soft Spots in navy, black, and tan, several years ago, but really only wore them for one year. If I could find comparable comfort in a similar style, I would not buy these again. CON: The leather strips that crisscross at the front of the shoe fray at the seams and little strings from the seams will make the shoe look old and worn way before the leather and/or heels start to look worn. I used a straight blade and then scissors to cut off the little white tufts and strings , but once the strips start unraveling, you get more and more strings, until the leather strips separate. I thought this might be a rare problem but looking at reviews on other websites, this happens all the time. Decided to buy them again in the navy and the black, same size 9.5 because I couldn't find anything as comfortable in a sandal. This time only the navy pair fit perfectly; the left shoe of black pair was quite uncomfortable on the inner side of the shoe for some reason, so sent that pair back. The navy pair are very comfortable, with good cushioning, and look great with pants, some skirts and casual dresses. I have medium width feet, slight bunions, very little arch, and narrow heels.The strap keeps my feet my slipping or my heel from moving around; the shoe doesn't press against my bunions or hurt my little toes, so it's great for people with problem feet, but for the price, it should last longer.

I wanted these shoes to work for me so much! I love the lavender color, and I've had other wonderful pairs of shoes from Softspots. But I have rather tall feet, and these felt too small in the toe box.

When I first got these shoes I tried them on and thought they were incredibly comfortable. However, when I actually wore them out walking around the city, they were not so comfortable. My foot kept sliding forward despite the ankle strap, and my feet were aching by the time I got back home. Sadly I am returning them.

For some reason, my size (7) in this style fits half a size tighter than my size in other Softspots styles. And the sole is lightweight plastic and very slippery on hard floors. I'm returning them!

These shoes have no arch support or cushioning. So, if you have a high instep they will not be comfortable.

This was a disappointment because I ordered it 2x and had to return both as the right shoe was not true to EE width. It was surprising since I have 2 other pairs in different colors that fit perfectly out of the box which prompted me to order these with high expectations. The left one fit perfectly, go figure.

I like the style of this shoe very much, but it didn't work for me. Size 8 was too short, and 8.5 too long. The worst part of the shoe is the strap & buckle. The strap is a little too short, & a little wide, making it hard to push thru the buckle. It needed an extra hole, & some holes weren't completely open. The buckle & its prong are very tiny. Very awkward contortions, twisting my body to secure the buckle. I finally gave up. Very Frustrating!

I've had this style before and loved it. I don't know what happened, but this shoe was at least one width too wide, and more like two. I could have put sweat socks on and been just fine! Very, very disappointed.

I was hoping that these shoes would fit as I wanted to have a summer shoe with a vented toe box. These certainly looked good but when I tried them on there was a lot of rubbing in the ankle area (go figure), so much so that I couldn't wear them. And like others have said the strap is very thin and not the easiest to buckle. In summer you want to be able to slip in and out easily and you couldn't with these. They also were not that comfortable overall. I've had better luck with Clarks!

Shoe was too short for size 11. Disappointed to find heel made of material that slips on certain flooring. Elastic on strap was flimsy.

I received the wrong size. The shoe was in a box labeled 8.5W but the shoe was actually a size 7.5W. Very disappointed.

This show had a weird fit. The heel was narrow as sized but the rest of the shoe was wide. Additionally the shoe was packaged in it's shoe box but was mailed in just a plastic bag which allowed the box lid to be broken on all four sides and one side of the box. Very poor packaging.

The toe cap was nowhere near narrow enough. I had to return the shoes.

Wow, what a disappointment! These shoes arrived very clearly quite used -- an oddity for the great service at Zappos. I wear an 8N and these shoes were much too wide. This is my second time trying a narrow width with Softspots. Not a brand for the truly narrow foot.
