I love my Boston clog! I bought them for work in the medical field, as I'm walking and on my feet a lot. I love Birk sandals, so decided to try these. I'm not in love with the look of them, but now that I know how comfortable they are, I really don't care. It is an adjustment to wearing Birkenstock, in general. They aren't soft and foamy, but they also provide excellent support. The Boston is the regular width which I also really like because my feet are on the wider side. I bought them, hoping they would last a little longer than the typical 1 year for an expensive tennis shoe. I'm thinking they will last a few years. Overall, happy with my purchase.

Purchased for my daughter as she is a Baker/pastry and needs supported,comfy,breathable,grippy,professional grade shoes for work. She loves them and is an avid Birkenstock wearer:)

I miss read the size in my original shoe. I thought it said 40 and it was 240. 40 was too big so I got a 39. That was also too big. I called and found out that 39 is like 250, so I will look for a 38 or 240 size 7.5 to 8.00 I like. :)

I wound up ordering these directly from Birkenstock (black leather) due to lack of stock (so sorry Zappos!). But I felt compelled to share my experience with the shoe and it is very positive. I vaciliated ordering these because I thought they would be heavy and they are not. I have been wearing Birks for over 30 years in various styles with varying frequency but found myself wearing them constantly during the height of the pandemic. I loved the idea of the super-grip sole for wet/slippery weather. I received them yesterday and wore them around with socks with no issue. Today I am wearing them with thin socks and again, no issue. The sole did squeak on tiled flooring for a very short while and then disappeared. I wear a 37 narrow and these are the tiniest bit wider but not enough to be an issue especially since I will be wearing them in cold weather with some type of sock. The heel is slightly squared rather than rounded which provides even greater lateral support if that is even possible. I tend to leave the strap a little loose for several wearings before considering adjustment. Sometimes I tighten the strap but sometimes I don't. Usually the suede tends to give more than the smooth leather. The leather is beautiful and will wipe up easily. (I always spray my shoes with protectant.) I would say that if you are not used to wearing Birks there will be a few days of break-in time. However if you are used to them you will have no issue. And for the record, I am not a chef or in the medical field. I just like my cranky feet and knees to be happier.

Shoes were a gift and were just what the person wanted. Very pleased.

Excellent fit, both length and width. As is true with all new Birks the first few wearings may not the most comfortable as the cork footbed begins to accommodate the imperfections of your feet (no foot is perfect). After a few wearings they become very comfortable. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and many would say that Birks are not the most attractive of shoes, but I choose German function over form! Beats my Italian form over function shoes!

Have always loved Birkenstock Boston shoes, but icy Minnesota winters got me realizing the safest bet was to buy the super grips. So glad I did. The shoe I always loved now made my life a little more safe!

I love these for work.They are great for a 12 hour shift on my feet. Very supportive and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Not the most stylish shoes, but the they’re super comfortable and didn’t require any breaking in. Wore them for the first time (with wool socks) on a 3 mile walk and they performed really well for me even though I still had a slightly sore ankle from a 2 week old sprain. They run a little big. I’m a 6 in dress shoes and 7 in tennis shoes. According to Birkenstock the 6 is equivalent to the 36, but the 35 fits better on me and still leaves enough room for thicker socks.

Wore these with thick wool socks every day this past winter, so wonderfully comfortable!

I bought this pair of shoes for my shoes for my son and he loves them a lot. He has wide feet and it was difficult for me to get him the shoes.

i got these as a replacement to another pair of Birks.... these are slightly different but they look nice. They are more firm then the other pair which is actually better for my foot. I wish they had a back strap tho. Currently, having some issues with tendons in my foot and also have a high arch .

Comfortable! Runs 1 size larger than other Birkenstock’s.

From the moment these came out of the box, they’ve been perfect! I wear them to work where I’m on my feet for long periods & they are just great! I’m having a hard time keeping them hidden from my daughter:)

I have had Birkenstock shoes for 20 years. They are one of my favorite shoes to wear especially when my feet are tired. The Boston Super Grab are awesome and the new soles make them even more usable. They’ve become my favorite shoes to wear around the house.

These are terrific for on your feet all day shoe. The first few days you might notice your soles hurting - that your breaking the shoe in to fit you personally. After a few days, it goes away and the Birks are super comfortable. Love the grip sole - worth every penny.

Birk Boston - These shoes dominate! Great for working all day at the hospital.

I was in an automobile accident over a year ago and suffered injury to my right foot causing me difficulty in finding a shoe that would allow me to walk without a great deal of pain. My sister suggested I try Birkenstocks. I'm so glad I did, because I am now able to walk with very little pain. Birkenstock shoes are all I wear now. One of my friends is going to order herself a pair and I referred her to Zappos.com.
