I passed over this bag many times because I thought the shape was ugly but decided to give it a shot and this now may be my favorite purse I've ever had. The shape fits nicely to the curve of my hip and the strap stays up on my shoulder really well. I love how it has pockets on the front and the back and a pocket inside as well. It can easily fit my Kindle, wallet, phone, sunglasses, water bottle, and other odds and ends. this bag feels solidly made and built to last. The thick cotton canvas feels super durable and the nylon lining inside is a nice touch. It's a very spacious bag but doesn't look giant on my 5 ft 2 frame. I bought the blue blanket pattern and I love it. The white parts appear more cream in real life. Beware if you aren't into neon, the orange zippers are very bright!

Great bag, cute enough but not the height of fashion. It holds a good amount: wallet, sun glasses, date book and even my Kindle. I like the bright pink interior; I can find things easily.

This is just want I wanted: a roomy cotton bag to carry things around. It has a nice adjustable shoulder strap, and zippers on the inside and outside to store smaller items. The main center compartment is large enough to hold checkbook, wallet, and more. While it is roomy, it is not a huge bag that takes up space. As I said, I is just what I wanted!

I used it while at a comicon for 3 days. It's lightweight and contours to the body well. Can hold a large amount of stuff.

This is a great bag. It's my 'everyday bag'. And has pockets for everything. It is canvas and has inverted zippers, so it's very sturdy and intended more for a casual look.

Love this purse! Very well described in other reviews. Great size, seems very sturdy, and I really like the adjustable strap. The only slightly negative thing is that it seems as though the color is already fading (after three months) though it's not rubbing on to my clothes, and I do use it every day. Doesn't change the fact that I absolutely love it - just what I was looking for for international travel and every-day use. I can fit a wallet, sunglasses, small camera, small water bottle, kindle, and other odds and ends just fine. The zippers are super sturdy, and it really does seem to be water resistant.

Product was the size and color I expected. Quality, durable materials. A good purchase!

The front angled zipper pocket holds either my Kindle Fire or my Nook. I never leave home without one of these E-readers and carrying one in this bag makes my life happy. I also appreciate the back pocket for holding my car keys. All bags/purses should outside pockets...designers take note!

I bought this purse because I was tired of other purse straps constantly falling off my shoulder. This purse is very practical, love it.

Love this - it's fun and bright, but not garish. It's a perfect every day bag. Good size without being giant or tiny. I like how accessible the front open pocket is. Seems very durable.

I love this little practical bag. When I ordered it, I was worried it would be too big, but it's just right. Pretty slim. The strap is comfortable and the bag lays nice and flat against my hip. Good for travel and bicycle commuting. Fits a paperback, large wallet, smart phone and other odds/ends. The outside diagonal zip pocket is perfect for smart phone and ipod. The bright red lining is a little chintzy (not very soft to the touch), but I'm the only one who sees it. I didn't buy it for a high fashion look.

Wish it came in a practical, dark, solid other than black (navy? purple?). Other than that and it's great! I use it as my travel purse because I can wear it cross-body (foils purse snatchers), it has a zippered top (foils pick-pockets), and doesn't look so nice that it attracts attention. Also, it easily holds a wallet, iPad, small water bottle, small camera, phone, and a scarf.

I love my new Kavu bag! I had exchanged it for a different bag with no hassles or even having to pay to return the other bag! Zappos is awesome! I'm going to get everything from here!

I love this bag and I use it for an everyday bag! I can carry my wallet, keys, phone (Samsung Galaxy S3), and a compact totes umbrella. Plus, chapstick and an on the go charger for my phone. The strap doesn't brother me at all and I really do like the material of the bag. I will definitely get another Sydney Satchel for the spring and another KAVU bag down the road. I believe it to be waterproof and with stands water. The shipping was really good. I ordered it on Sunday evening and got it on Wednesday afternoon. I had regular shipping (4-5 days).

This is a great bag. Its got lots of inner and outer pockets so my stuff stays organized. I use one of the inner pockets for my cell phone and another for my notary stamp. The long inner pocket holds my passport and checkbook. Small outer pocket great for lip stuff, tylenol, hairbands etc. The is also a roomy outer front pocket which is great for sunglasses and pens etc. This bag expands to fit a lot of stuff but is not a BIG bag. It just acts like one. I also just fell in the mud when carrying this bag. I spot cleaned it and then threw it in the wash machine and dryer and it came out looking great. Very rugged, useful bag. Recommended.

First of all, I ordered this really late and it was already in the process of being shipped about an hour later. It arrived in 1 days which is really awesome! I really like this bag! I'd never heard of Kavu before. I was looking for something I could fit my new camera (in it's sleeve) in and still have a little room for other things. This bag is perfect! I was a little worried about the size but it's definitely not as big as it looks in the picture. There's plenty of storage space and it's comfortable. I ordered the 'color' Pistachio and it's really neat. This is a great bag!

I absolutely love this bag. I've been carrying it for months, and it has held up really well. I call it my "adventure bag" because it can hold all of my stuff for a long day of exploring. I've gotten lots of compliments and this is probably the best bag I've ever owned.

This bag is great for the habitual over packer like myself. Its big enough to hold the essentials (wallet phone keys chap stick) plus extras like a bottle of water and a paperback book. The black one does collect fuzz really well, that's the only con I've seen so far.

I am on my third Sydney Bag.... the others have been to Spain, England, Scotland and all over the United States. I love this bag.... It's also great for the movies, because it holds way more than it looks like it should. We're talking two bottles of water, and all sorts of treats.

I love this bag! It has plenty of pockets and very roomy to hold everything I need it to! My other purses after a year of wear would start to have tears or frays in the fabric and this bag is such good quality I can tell its going to long outlast the other purses I've had! The most comfortable purse I've ever had and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Definitely worth the price!

I love this bag! I was looking for a crossbody bag with a hobo-style look to it, and this is perfect. The canvas construction is extremely durable, and it's big enough to fit all your essentials without being too big. The pocket on the front is my favorite part because it means I don't have to go digging for things I use the most, like my keys and wallet. I highly recommend this purse!

I love this bag! It is roomier than I thought, and holds a lot. But it is surprisingly lightweight and very comfortable as a cross body bag. Just enough compartments to hold everything neatly.

I purchased this bag to take on casual outings, but find that I use it more often. Plenty of room, but not bulky. I like the outside pocket for my phone and the adjustable strap so it fits where I like. Plus the strap never slips off my shoulder! Gotta like that. Love Zappos speedy delivery too! I'm no fashionista, so can't speak to how stylish it is or isn't.

I love it! It has a place for everything and isn't bulky! It is easy to keep organized and I don't have to switch purses for going to the zoo, vacation, or shopping! I definitely recommend it!
