Love Them! We bought our first pair of Keens last summer for our then 10 year old son. He really liked them. We ordered them for both of the kids this summer. My 8 year old daughter loves hers and has worn them everyday since they arrived. They are comfortable and durable. The ones from last year hardly look worn. Just be sure to order at least a size up from your kid's regular shoe size. My son is right between kids and adult sizes. The adult version of this shoe doesn't have velcro at the top. The bungee goes all the way up and makes it super difficult to put on. I wouldn't buy them without the velcro closure. We ended up with a Teva amphibious shoe for him. Hope this helps.

Best summer hybrid shoe ever made for kids - My daughter is on her second pair of Keens. The first pair lasted 2 years of full day outdoor camp. These shoes are amazing. They DO NOT have ANY foot odor. They’re cool like a sandal, but super supportive and the protective shoe lets her play sports like she's wearing a sneaker. Couldn’t ask for a better shoe!

Great summer sandal for kids - I discovered this sandal 3 years ago because my daughter needed a shoe for creek exploring. This fit the bill and she has been wearing Keen's Newport every summer since.

Comfortable from the start! This shoe is amazing! It's as comfortable as my Crocs which I didn't believe possible. And of course, the Zappos experience is the best! Next day delivery is terrific!

I love them - I could not be happier with my entire experience with Zappos.com. SUPER FAST - I ordered these last night at 9pm and they were on my doorstep by 3pm today! Amazing...and they are so much cooler looking in person-my 6 year old daughter is in love with them already...

My daughter has a wide foot so this style of Keen fit her perfect.

Great shoes - I really like them! They have a squishy comfortable footbed and they do not have a heel like my hiking boots do. They are flat and this puts less pressure on the ball of my foot. My hiking boots usually leave the balls of my feet tired and sore. I can walk long distances in these sandals without getting sore or tired. This is a good thing since I am a naturalist at a camp in Washington and I lead 4 or 5 hikes per day! I have worn them so far in water, mud, grass, uphill, downhill, gravel, dirt and all over camp and town. They have been incredibly comfy and really had no breaking in time. The traction is pretty good. The only problem is I get gravel stuck in them sometimes and I have to take them off to get it out. This can be a problem if I am trying to lead people somewhere. And they are purple which is one of my favorite colors! I look forward to wearing it in Arkansas and Africa. I think the shoe will do well there.

Sixty-three old KID! I have a very wide, short foot and have found over my 63 years that children's shoes fit me better than adult shoes. So I always seek children's styles when possible! Even with children's sizes, my first two pairs of Keen Kid's Newports were larger than indicated, so I went down a size (a half size smaller than I actually wear). They are perfect. He H2s are great as I need toe and heel protection (diabetes) but want a washable shoe to trek through Kaua'i's muddy hills. I have been wearing my H2s frequently and love them. I think they are perfect for children, too. Thanks Zappos; it is always a pleasure doing business with you. I appreciate you so much!

Satisfied my daughter's picky feet - These shoes are great for my daughter who tends to find any little irritation in her clothes or shoes. She's had these for weeks, and still can't find an irritation. I got matching ones (but there was not pink for moms), and we are going to be happy campers in Bryce.

Keen Kids Newport H2 - This is my daughter’s second pair of Keen sneakers. She says that they are very comfortable, and I like that they are a rugged style that works well for indoor and outdoor play. Easy for her to get on and off.

Go-To Summer Shoe - We've been fans of Keens for kids since last summer with the purchase of pairs for both our girls. I can't say enough about how versatile, practical and adorable they are. Fantastic that they are waterproof - throw them in the wash and they come out looking like new. One of the few shoes that will be a hand-me-down from big sis to little sis. I actually ordered too big of a size, but decided to keep them for next year. And you can't beat Zappos service.

These shoes fit my daughter really well. Her feet are narrow, and they have great support for her.

I liked this shoe for my daughter because it was cute while still allowing her to run and play at school without worrying about her shoes coming off or tripping her. She loves the shoe. The only downside is that they need to be washed frequently since they tend to have an odor when not worn with socks. I guess that is true for any shoe worn without socks. Overall, it's a great shoe.

The colors are great! Very good for summer, although I wish Keen would go back to making black soles, the gray looks kind of weird.

Great shoes - durable and fit well (even on a wide foot)

These have been our tried-and-true summer shoes for camps, camping, and everyday wear since our kiddo was a toddler. Now, our 10-year-old would rather branch out to different styles for everyday wear, but we still have these for outdoor and water activities.

Great for wide feet and kids who need a high instep shoe

My son loves Keens. He wore them throughout the summer. He is hard on shoes and if his foot didn’t grow he would still be able to wear them.

My kid is happy with the shoe. I used the size guide provided and the first pair I ordered were too big so I sized down. Sturdy shoes that will be perfect for river walking and hiking, but the style is not for me, which is fine because they aren’t for me.
