Very cute shoe. A little hard for my 5 year old to get on and off by himself, but he manages. Great sandal-sneaker combo - the toe is tough enough, and the shoe secure enough, for him to happily wear these to soccer camp!

his is my 7 year old son's second Keen Kids Newport sandals. As soon as they arrived, which was the the day after I ordered them, he was so excited that he grabbed the box to put them on right away. The first pair fit him for about 18 months! We bought them a little big but it was fine, he loved them and other kids and parents think they look so cool that they ask to look at them closer. These can be dressed up or down and can go from out to dinner in nice shorts/pants to endless exploration on the Boardwalk and amusement parks, hikes with stomping in the lake's shore and rocks along the river and they also dry so fast. There is no problem with foot odor for him and are comfortable out of the box all day long. Dirt just rinses off. We got navy this year, and brown last year. I am now ordering a pair for myself for my fishing habit during hot days by in streams on the rocks and mud. My 12 year old daughter is asking for them now. These are the best shoes for an active family.

I love Keen shoes and this is the 3rd summer in a row that we've purchased them for our very active young boys! Mommy and Daddy just bought our first Keen's as well!

These are a summer-no-brainer for the whole family. They'll do for hikes, light sports, and for traveling. If you can only bring one pair of shoes for a summer day full of activities - this is the pair.

My son loved these because they are soft on the inside, so he can wear them with or without socks. The protected toe also makes them versatile, since they breathe like sandals but can be used where closed-toe shoes are required.

I ordered these shoes for my daughter. They arrived overnight and I didn't even select overnight shipping. This was a major bonus, because my 8 year old daughter has a hard time waiting for things ordered on the internet. The shoes are great. Perfect for camp, closed toe, athletic, waterproof.

These are excellent, comfortable shoes. I have very small feet, but my feet are a little wide. The toe box on these shores are slightly wider, so the fit is great.

Keen's are the only shoe my seven year old will wear.I also buy these sandals every year as my son's "summer" shoes, He loves them and they are the only sandals he will wear without complaining! Worth every penny.

These sandals are worth the money if you have a child who loves to run, kick and splash in the water or mud! The sandals are rugged, comfortable and perfect for the beach, playground or trail. I have a pair and decided to get some for my son this year. True to size and easy to adjust, these are the perfect summer sandal which can be used well into fall (with some heavier socks). Get these sandals if the cheaper brands fall apart on your kid by August!

If you have a busy 8 year old you should get these shoes. They are waterproof and they dry super fast, especially when put in the sun. My son loves them and so do I!

My very active/athletic 9-year old daughter picked these out and loves them. They are perfect for summer camp because they are all-terrain, all-weather and protect her toes. Her only complaint is that they take a long time to dry compared to foam rubber Crocs. The upside is that the Keens are a lot more tolerant of abuse and fit better/stay in place compared to the Crocs. She gives them a big thumbs up!

My 7-year-old daughter wears her Keens every single day. This is her third pair! Right after she got them, we took a vacation and walked for miles and miles. She wore them every step of the way, with no troubles at all. We're a Keen family, and we plan to keep it that way!

Fit fantastic on 9 year old son who has wide-ish toe box. Had to ditch Skechers in same type sandal because too difficult to get onto feet on hot, sweaty days. Velcro opening awesome! Going to San Diego on vacation so spent extra on good shoe. Happy so far.

I haven't bought a pair of Keens for years because they were impossible to put on. But with the new velcro strap design, they're a breeze. My 5-year-old loves his. Great for the kid who likes sandals, but plays hard and needs extra toe protection.

Great shoe - My son has a wide foot and this shoe is very comfortable for him. It is adjustable to accommodate a wider foot. It has the openness of a sandal but the closed toe makes them more of a "shoe". He is not aloud to play at recess at his school outside unless he has a closed toe shoe and this shoe works well. Great shoe for kids; looks good too.

Like these shoes - A great all around shoe for active kids in the summertime. Only wish they were easier to get on and off...

Kids Keen Newport H2 - These shoes are the best investment. They are indestructible. My son wears his daily so I bought him an extra pair to wear when the first pair is wet.

This is the first time I've ordered these shoes for my son and we love them. I actually had picked out the other Keen Newport shoes that don't have velcro and ended up ordering the wrong size. When I went to reorder the correct size they didn't have his size, so this shoe was the next comparable shoe. I was glad it worked out this way because the first shoe was very hard to get on (my son has wide feet) and the new shoe had velcro and was much easier to get on. These are great for playing on the playset, or splashing around in water. So far they haven't made their feet stinky, but it may be too early to tell. From now on, I will probably order these for my kids every year.

Keens for kids - The best shoes for summer for active boys and girls. This year’s style is better than last years because the heel is enclosed with thick elastic material. Sticks and rocks from the river or trail can't poke the heel. I cannot recommend them enough.

Keens Kids Newports - These shoes are comfortable and easy to put on. We love them!
