Bought these for the snow here in Maine, love the warmth, height and being water proof. This is my second pair (first ones are a different model with the side handles). Unfortunatly these build up with snow in the tread to the point I have to stop shoveling or snowblowing and knock off up to an inch of snow/ice as they fill up in the treads and continues to add from there so you are literally sliding across the ground (pretty dangerous). The old ones I have that have the basic tread do not build up at all but are not agressive for good outdoor traction in the winter. If you could enlighten me on something i could spray on the treads on the new ones so they don't build up I would change this to 5 stars no problem.

These boots fell short of my expectations when it came to performance and safety when worn in the snow. These boots keep my feet nice and warm. These are warmer than my insulated Xtratuf boots. I bought these Bogs to use when I'm sitting in my boat lake fishing for Kokanee and trout in the late fall, winter and early spring. This past week, we got good amount of snow in northwestern Washington. I wore these Bogs around the house to shovel snow and do some outside chores. Once again, my feet were nice and warm. Was I satisfied with my purchce of these Bogs? The answer is NO! When worn in the snow, the snow will build up on the sole of the boots like crazy. Even the dry powder snow would stick to the sole and build up into a huge snow ball. This made it walking around vry dangerous and near impossible. I'm not sure if it's the design of the tread on the sole or the material of rubber used to manufacture the sole. I am leaning towards the material used since my 2yo daughter's Bogs with totally different tread patterns had the same problem when used in the snow. I don't have this problem with my Xtratuf boot soles in the snow. As a designated sitting in the boat in cold temprature boots, I think these Bogs would do fine and should meet my needs. But I would not wear these if there's any snow accumulated on the ground and this bums me out. I hope Bogs engineers would look into the problem and comes up with a solution.

This boot is more of a cooler weather boot, 70 degrees and below. Price seemed competitive and reasonable. Was not crazy about color "black" as only choice... would love to see offered in additional colors like brown and tan.

This is the third pair of Boggs I have purchased and I will continue to purchase as long as they manufacture them. Excellent boot for the farm as well as the woods of Alabama!

Great BOOTS!! Ordered these for my neighbor as an early birthday present. His boots were hobo boots. He loves his BOGS. He bought myself and son a pair Christmas 2019.

I work for a excavating company and these are the most comfortable boots I've owned yet. Great for Michigan winter.

Howdy, shopping at Zappos.com has got too be the best experience I have had. VIP status is the best; it's like sitting in the store just a bit longer. I ordered Bogs Classic mid; they were just not what I was looking for. So I ordered a couple pairs and settled on the Bogs Classic high. Just a great shopping experience. I was afraid they would be too tight for my big calves with pants also. I think it's going too be okay. I work at the Glasgow Stockyards so it's beat the pavement in lots of cow crap for up to 20 hours straight. I will let y'all know how they work out. Talk to ya soon. Later dudes.

The land around our house is often muddy and wet. I have nice leather boots, but I don't like them wet so much. The Bogs are perfect. They are waterproof and warm, and my feet get cold easily. When the weather turned hot, my feet were still comfortable. Wish I hadn't procrastinated so long!

These boots replaced my bf's old Bogs, which were well-loved. He wore his old boots to the point that they were downright raggedy. He loves his new boots
