Classic European Look! These shoes are exactly what I wanted: great looking, super comfortable and very stylish. I wear them with my jeans and they look fab. I grew up in the 70s and these have such a cool, retro look that I just love. The blue suede is beautiful and they feel great on my feet. Buy a pair for yourself!

A Little Tight But Worth It - I have a very wide foot (EEEE) but was tired of scrounging around for orthopedic-style shoes. Even though adidas Originals Gazelle are technically too small for my feet, I am pleased to see the shoe stretching to accommodate my size. The shoes look very smart and are amazingly light-feeling. No scuffing or dragging because of bulkiness. It literally feels as if my feet move faster now. For a good looking and lightweight sporty shoe, I suggest you look at these.

GREAT! been wearing these shoes around to break them in for skateboarding but it seems only about 3 days in they were ready to go and skate. Definitely going to order another pair come skate time. The only letdown was that weird smell everyone else has said about them...I don't care really because I mean, they’re gonna get smelly anyways.

Must have for any closet - I love these shoes!!! They are so comfortable and so stylish. And Zappos was really quick and efficient in sending them.

Perfect Classic - One of the most classy and decent casual everyday comfort shoe that gets even better looking and comfortable as is get older.

Adidas Gazelle is a great sneaker - Great looking sneaker, but most important it is very comfortable. Great color choices too.

These are fantastic shoes. They fit perfectly and there was no break-in time out of the box. Putting them on for the first time felt like I had owned them for a year. They look good, they feel good, and they perform well.

AWESOME!!! These are the best shoes adidas has ever made next to the Sambas and Copa Mundials! I totally disagree with anybody that say there is anything wrong with these shoes. They are very comfortable and stylish. You can do anything with the Gazelles. From the soccer field to the streets these are the all around BEST!

Sized for Men's feet - I need to replace a pair of Adidas Campus ST sneakers (very comfy) and hoped that these would do the trick. The look beautiful will match my casual Friday teaching clothes and don't make me look like I have clown feet. BUT they are not women's shoes. I ordered a lady’s 10.5 and received a man’s 9, which approximates that size. The arch is in a different place and I guess guys have narrower toes, because the toe box is smaller than on Women's sized adidas. This makes them less comfy. Zappos, if you are listening, please give us gals a way to look for only women's sized shoes.

Adidas Gazelle - These are sooooo comfortable and they look good too! They did have a smell to them, kind of like how an industrial carpet smells when it gets wet. They seem to be airing out and don't smell as much.

Great shoes! These shoes are really great looking. They have a lil bit of a smell to them when you first get them, but I imagine that will wear off with time. Also, they are a little tight in the front part of the shoe, but it’s expanding the more I wear them. Overall, great shoes!

Love these shoes - I was looking for something stylish and comfortable. I loved these sneakers when I wore them in high school and thought I would try them again. I was not disappointed!! Great look and feel. And they had plenty of room to accommodate my orthotics. I didn't notice the smell other reviewers complained of, but the tongue does squeak against the laces when I walk. A small annoyance that is greatly outweighed by the many plusses of this shoe.

What did Adidas do to make these smell? I've been wearing Gazelles for well over 10 years. I must have had 5 or 6 pairs of them over the years. They've always been trustworthy shoes that last a long time. When I bought my last pair in April of 2008 however, I realized that Adidas has done something to them to make them smell bad. I'm not sure what's going on over at Adidas but they've either gotten some defective materials, or they've changed the materials, or something, because they now smell like dead animals. Adidas actually stopped widely producing this shoe a few years ago. They came out with the "Gazelle 2" which had flashy colors and whatnot. I was glad to see the old trusty black and white version back out, but now they smell. I ordered two pairs from Zappos and one pair directly from Adidas and they all had the same problem. I am positive that this is a new issue because none of the other pairs I've owned over the past 10 years have smelled anything like this, brand new or otherwise. In the nature of full disclosure, I didn't keep mine long enough to find out whether the smell wears off after a month or two. I can tell you that when I put them in the closet they smelled up the whole closet. I could also smell them when I was sitting on the couch or driving. It was just too much for me. There was no sign that they were getting better after several weeks so I returned them. Maybe I should have waited longer. Anyway, this may be one of the best models of shoes ever made but I'm not going to get anymore until Adidas fixes this smell issue. Why they keep trying to mess with perfection is beyond me.

VERY NICE - I dig these shoes, they go with any look whether you’re going down the street to do your laundry or are attending your best friends wedding, these shoes just scream "any occasion", note that these shoes don't actually scream (at least not for the first few weeks). There is a smell issue, yes, this shoe does smell like fish, but I own cats so if anything these shoes have increased my popularity with the cats.

Love the Gazelle - My husband really likes the shoe; its appearance and comfort is exactly what he wanted, and the Gazelle fills the bill.

Awesome - Not only do these Gazelle look good they are so comfortable. I have three pairs and if they had more colors I would buy them as well. Great sneaker.

A great classic/retro looking shoe - I wanted something cute, yet comfy enough to wear while walking several miles a day. (Specifically, something I could wear next to a NYC hipster on the subway and not feel completely awful about myself.) It is a bit narrow, but it's fine for me and I don't have narrow feet. I was expecting more arch support based on other reviews, but the inside is nearly flat. There is very little arch support, certainly not "excellent arch support" as other reviews said. Still, it's comfortable enough for me to wear while walking several miles at a time. Another reviewer complained of a horrible rubber smell from the sole. Yeah. I'm not sure what that was about, as I haven't had that problem. The top of the tongue of the shoe is rubbery and tends to slide around a bit, since there's no loop to keep the tongue to the laces. Also, this is rather random, but they sent me two different length laces. Overall, I really like the shoes. They make my feel look small, they feel good, and they look good. Just beware if you need more width or arch support than average.

Very cool, worth a little stink - I was a little nervous about ordering this shoe, due to the stink factor others have mentioned. It really does have a fishy smell to it when you first get it. In my case, the smell has faded pretty quickly. I have asked friends if they could smell the shoes and no one has. The look of the shoe is fantastic; you can't get more classic sneaks. In terms of fit, I found the recommended conversion from men's to women's size was fine.

Show your feet some love - Great shoe - not too wide, not too narrow, just right. Great shoe for everything. I'm on my feet all day and I have been using Gazelles for years. Once in awhile I change it up, but I always come back.

Easy style - So good looking. So comfortable! Great for guys and girls... if only they came in red.

Great look, but snug - Comfy shoe with style, but it's a somewhat narrow shoe in my opinion.

Adidas Gazelle Original - These shoes are classic, and my favorite style of Adidas. The look of the shoe, and the fit perfect for whatever you need to do, dancing etc. The shoe may start out tight but after you break it in, it molds to the shape of your foot, kind of like a soccer shoe would. The shoe is very comfortable and holds up and wears well over time. Hands down my favorite shoe.

I love 'em - Considering this is not the first time I've owned a pair of these, but it's been many years. They are just as comfortable and stylish as they were back in the day.

My favorite shoes! I love these shoes! Very comfortable and they look awesome! The only thing that I noticed was that the word "Gazelle" was not the traditional gold lettering. Of course only I noticed. Other than that these shoes are great!
