What a great little shoe! The silver color is beautiful and the shoe very comfortable. The right shoe in the back gave me a blister, so I had to put some Moleskin on the back by my ankle. I will still keep the shoes, they are so darn cute. Not a good walking shoe; not much arch support.

Really cute with a hipper than usual profile for a flat. I found that after a few wears, the shoe became looser than was ideal but I still love them. Feels more like a slipper than a shoe.

Cute shoes. A little concerned about the quality of the shoe for the price (certainly hope they don't fall apart after wearing a few times), but they do go with everything. The shoes truly do run a bit small. I a 7 1/2, and ordered a 7 1/2 and the shoes fit, but are snug. I thinking they'll stretch over time, so am glad I stuck with this size.

Sadly, I'll be sending this one back. I actually had a pair a couple of years ago. Yes, they are comfortable (like a slipper). And they're cute enough (a little round for dress purposes, but comfy cute, and great materials and prints). But they're really almost too soft, and I knew that already, but wanted to try again. They're comfortable, but there's no support whatsoever. They look a little like slippers, and they feel a little like slippers. And I already know from my last experience that they'll quickly break in and give (comfy) but your foot will be all over the place and they just don't look even remotely structured for long and your foot is free to go wherever it wants. They just don't make sense to me, unless you're purely in it for a soft, comfy slipper that's reasonably cute (and again, cute color and material options). I need something that's going to be a little cuter, and a little dressier, and a little more durable.

I haven\'t worn these much yet, so I can\'t speak to the stretching issues that others have mentioned. These shoes are well made, cute, and comfortable.

They are very well made and can be resoled. The leather stretches a lot though, so get them the right length or they will be flip fops in a few weeks. Then the red leather will get grey and dirty fast because the back of the heel falls down (not stiff).

A decent shoe, but expensive for the quality. I originally ordered the "taupe bisonte" pair, but returned them because they were actually more of a brown. I ended up ordering a pair of black patent leather ones, instead. I love the look! The materials are all good, but be sure to order .5 or 1 size up; the patent leather doesn't stretch as much and will dig into your heel if you don't! They also have no arch support whatsoever, so I'll be getting some inserts tomorrow. Otherwise, great!

Just got these in the mail and like them more than I thought I would. They are simple, but not ordinary. A nice generous fit in the front (not too narrow and they don't show toe cleavage) although I might get my next pair a half size up to allow for an insole. They are very comfortable for a flat shoe without a lot of support.

Very comfortable out of the box, but I wore them just one time and by the end of a day on which I didn\'t even spend much time on my feet, they were so stretched out that the looked really sloppy and shapeless. It\'s too bad because I really loved them at first, but I had to return them because the price was too high for the quality.

I love these! These shoes have no support and are definitely not meant for a lot of continuous walking, but even I with my weak arches find them great for wearing at the office.

I love these shoes. I wish I had them in every color. Made in Italy!

I wear them a lot and am very satisfied with the fit and the look. I had to buy insoles to insert into them. A good shoe, but for this price the sole linings really shouldn't come out like that.

I love this shoe, but have had a difficult time with sizing--ordered the 7.5 (I'm usually a 7). This was too tight, returned it for the 8, which is a tad sloppy in the heel, but I love it so I kept it. Wish it fit better, but guess I'm between sizes. A great look, perfect for pairing with just about anything!

Just received my French Sole flats. Very cute but a little flimsy. I would have thought for this price they would be a bit more substantial -- I'm surprised to see they're made in Italy (seems like a China-made shoe, smells like rubber or glue or something). Anyway, they are comfortable enough and I plan to use some Dr Scholl's inserts to cushion them. They are cute and are way more comfortable than the Cole Haan flats with the elastic around the top. Those ones killed my feet and dug into the back of my heels. I hope these little shoes last as I am hard on my shoes...but I know if they don't Zappos will make good on my purchase!

I shipped a second pair because the first were irregular. The second pair was also irregular, but I swapped the two pairs around and now there are too matched sets. One pair is thinner leather and wider and one is thicker and more narrow. Returning the narrow set (these are all labeled the same size the gluing and leather is not uniform, so they are highly varied). Love them now - keepers.

I love these shoes, just beware. The colored suede stains really easily. I had the pink pair for one day before I trashed them. They are now dyed black. I re-ordered another pink pair, but when they arrived the suede between the shoes did not match- one was more plied. It broke my heart, but I sent them back. I definitely plan to order another pair.

Nice shoes. Very glad I read the reviews and ordered one half size bigger and my toes are right up to the end. Comfortable right from the first wearing. One thing that's occurred is that the uppers are made of such soft leather that the shoes have gotten wider with wearing since there is no stiffness in the shoe to keep your foot from rolling sideways when you walk. I bought the suede ones, perhaps this is not a problem with the finished leather ones. I really like the shoes and plan to buy more with another finish, but would return them if they stretched out at the sides again.

Very snappy color and truly comfortable. Would prefer that the tag was not so obvious. Why should I be a billboard? But otherwise they are a dream and as mentioned, the color is really perfect--not a cheap cobalt but a soft but very fresh marine. Great with a tan, white pants or dark gray tights.

Cute Shoes, clean lines and very basic. I have large, wide feet. Normally I wear 9 WW, but the 11 actually fit! I ordered a 10 before and it was a little tight on the top. The 11 fit perfectly.

Wonderful, simple ballet flats. Completely low-key. The other reviews are correct. They come up a little high on the foot so they look very much like canvas Chinese slippers. But classier! Also, there really is no padding whatsoever so if you live in a city and plan to do lots of walking, you will need some sort of insole. I have very wide feet and these fit wonderfully with no break-in. I'm between a 7.5 and an 8. I tried the 8 and the 8.5 (since these are supposed to run large). The 8 was perfect and the 8.5 huge.

I'm a size 8 with a pretty wide footbed and a high arch. The 8.5 works for me. These definitely run wide, but they also come up a bit high on the top of the foot, which digs in a little and left a mark at first. But that has gotten better as I've broken them in. Of course, they don't have sneaker support, but they're comfy in a slipper-like way, and look cute with skinny jeans. Because they're suede, they do get a bit dirty.

Bought my first two pair of French Sole Sloops at the French Sole boutique. I walked out with two pairs, purple and navy. They were so comfy! I would have walked out with more had I not had an entire day planned in NYC! As soon as I got home I ordered 4 more colors through Zappos. Everyone else is right. You definitely need to order a 1/2 size up. I usually wear a 9 and I am a 9.5 in these shoes. They are really soft and feels like you are walking in slippers. The only downfall is that they lack support. So although they are extremely comfy, you may want to put in an extra insole before walking long distances! They are the perfect basic flat.

Just got these shoes today. The 6 was a perfect fit for me -- and I am usually between a 5.5 & a 6. So, I think the other reviewers are right about ordering about a 1/2 size up. I actually got these because I had to return a pair of Frye flats that were too big in a size 6. The shoes are really simple and cute (I got the black suede). I think they will be very good for jeans, dresses, pretty much anything, and seem to be comfortable and well constructed. They feel more substantial and are a better fit than most flats I've had. They mold to your feet very well. One thing, though: they stink like rubber/weird chemicals when you first get them. I hope the smell wears off soon!

I ordered both the black suede and the cement suede. I returned the cement b/c it looked too much like a house slipper rather than the summery flat I was hoping for. These shoes definitely run small. I have really easy feet to fit and wear a size 7 with very rarely any issues. After reading the reviews, I ordered a 7 1/2 and they are definitely form-fitting (picture skin-tight jeans for your foot). They're not uncomfortable, b/c they fit the shape of your foot but there's very little room for those little foot socks. They do come up high on my foot (about just past the knuckle on my big toe) but I think they look kind of modern rather than dowdy. They are comfy, but definitely no arch support. Also, I’m just wearing them around the office, I don't think they are sturdy enough to survive long on the city streets.

Beautiful color and extremely comfortable!!!! The one downside is that the leather at the front tends to crease, ruining the shape of the shoe.
