I skeptically bought these shoes thinking I would not like them. However, my old ballerina shoes were ready to retire and I decided to take a chance on the Sloop. I am so glad I did too! They are just like a comfy pair of slippers. I ordered one half size up from my usual size, and they fit perfectly. They have stretched a bit, but still fit well. They have no support though. I would not wear these on a day where I plan on walking a lot. Over all, I love these shoes. I wear them several times a week, and would like to get another pair in a different color.

These very cute flats were super comfy right out of the box. The embossed print is subtle. I think these will soon become my go to travel shoe as they are lightweight, comfortable, pack well and look good with a jean or a dress.I have a pretty narrow foot and there is a bit of room on the sides of the shoe, but my foot doesn't slip. I usually wear a 6.5 sometimes 7 and based on the other reviews purchased the 7 which is just right. Size up if you are unsure.

Great shoe, once you find one that fits you right! Thank goodness for Zappos return policy! I went through 4 pairs until I found one that fit me perfectly. I am usually a 7, but needed these in a 7.5. In the 7, my toes rammed into the front of the shoe. I have a narrow foot, so some of the pairs were wider and flimsier than others. I recommended ordering at least 2 pair of the same size to see which one works better! Once I found my perfect pair, I put those soft insoles in the shoes because they really don't have a lot of structure. They are now the most comfortable pair of flats I have! I love them!

I bought these shoes because of the reviews. They are as comfortable, fun and versatile as reviewers said. Do buy them a half size up -- that worked for me. I now have two pairs, in two colors.

I bought 3 pair. Does that speak to how versatile and comfortable I find these great slip-on shoes. Zappos made it easy for me to try on a handful of colors and then narrow down to my favorites. I am wearing the cement suede with everything this summer. The color is very neutral without being boring. The style is attractive with a long or short skirt, dress pants or jeans. A casual, but feminine style, these make my legs look good even in shorts. When I want to wear dress heels, I wear these for driving or walking distances and then change into my heels. This light colored suede cleans up nicely with a suede brush. It is strongly recommended as they are so comfortable that I sometimes forget I have them on and they can get dirty.I have a high arch and although they have no arch support, somehow my foot does not tire as it does in other flats. I have a wide toe ball, and these are one of the few styles that has never squished my toes. My shoe size is 7.5 to 8 and in these I like the 7.5 because they stretch a bit.

Worth every penny! When I read the reviews about how these shoes feel like you're walking barefoot I thought, sweet! These will be perfect! I've been moving towards barefoot running/walking, but unfortunately you can't be 100% barefoot outside for safety reasons. These are the most unbelievably adorable, feels-like-you're-wearing-nothing shoes ever. I did have to send one pair back before I got a pair that didn't have a weird gap on the side one of the shoes (I think they are a little inconsistent about how they sew them), but my second pair fit like a glove, no, like a sock on both feet. Like other people mentioned, these run a half size large. I'm a 10.5 and the 11 is just right. I think the only people who might want their true size are people with really narrow feet. These are a little on the wide side although not enough to say they feel more wide than marked. They are wearing really well and don't look too dirty even after heavy use because the light color is kind of beige and not bright white. The zebra print really makes any outfit you're wearing more fun and interesting and literally goes with everything. If you're going to wear these practically every day (like I do) I recommend at least looking into barefoot walking techniques. You will not be happy if you walk all day in them striking your heel on the ground over and over. Once you get used to mid and forefoot striking, these will be your most favorite shoes in the whole world. After all, you still want to be stylish while walking like a hippie.

I love these flats. Fit great, so comfortable. I just wore them across a tour of Italy, walking all day with happy feet! I plan to order a few more pairs in the great prints and bright colors.

Very comfortable and cute. I will buy them again. However I 'm not sure about the one size up. I got one size up and is pretty large.

I love the French Sole Sloop. I couldn't believe how quickly they arrived, in less than 24 hours. How do you do that? Anyway, I listened when the reviews said to order a half size larger, and they were just right. I love the looks of them; and they are very comfortable, like wearing bedroom slippers, only much classier looking! I love Zappos service.

I had originally ordered a less expensive pair of black flats and ended up exchanging them for these in the black suede. For a ballet flat, these are very comfortable - they seem to have more padding than most. I normally wear an 8.5 and per the product description, I ordered a 9. I am very glad I did - they fit perfectly. I love the constuction of the shoe and they stay on my foot as I walk. I will be ordering this shoe in additional colors - a great basic!

I love these shoes! Reading the other reviews, I decided to buy a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit fine. They are cute and comfortable, perfect with any casual outfit. The sole is thin, maybe an insole would help, but other than that, I love them.

The best pair of flats I have ever come across. I will definitely buy them in other colors. I always wear a size 7, this are a very snug size 7. I could have easily gone up a 1/2 but I think they are going to stretch because of the soft leather.

This is my second pair of these shoes and I have worn them to death! They are comfortable and feel like real ballet slippers. I do have a high arch, but these are almost as good as going barefoot, which i love. I can't complain about that. Most perfect pair of shoes. Very chi-chi. Order the size you normally wear. I order 1/2 size down thinking they might be wide. They fit like a glove. Love them!

First of all, I have 4 pairs of these, and they are amazing. Secondly, although all the reviews say to order a half size up, I have found that mine have stretched out so much due to the buttery softness of the leather, that I now order my exact size. They will stretch. Absolutely no arch support, but super cute and goes with everything. So easy to just slip on and you're ready to go. Also, I have very narrow feet and these fit perfectly, with no gaps.

It fits perfectly and looks fantastic with everything. It's a beautiful shaped shoe which is important when it's so basic. The sole is very thin so I wouldn't plan on doing a lot of walking on pavement in these shoes. But they are great for the dance floor!

I bought these to replace my cheap black flats that I wore all the time, but were uncomfortable and falling apart. I ordered 1/2 size up, per reviews, and the fit was perfect. I love how they look on my foot, which is fairly narrow. I did have a pretty terrible break in period. They rubbed my heels raw. After a few days wear, and band-aid protection, they now fit like slippers. No arch support, but still very comfortable, even for walking and standing all day. They go with everything! So cute, and love the quality! Totally worth the price!

The French Sole sloop is my favorite shoe! It is my everyday shoe. I walk in it, wear it to work and out after hours. Most people recommend buying a half size larger, but I prefer to buy my regular size because due to the nature of the material the shoe will stretch. I order my first sets of sloops larger and after stretching they looked like slippers. They were so comfortable I just ignored it, but my 8 1\/2s are much more presentable!

I call these my expensive slipper! Very cute for work, probably the closest you can get to being barefoot (that can be good and bad). Very flat but still comfortable.

These are wonderful flats! So comfortable and stylish. Just remember, they run small so you must size up 1/2 size. I usually wear an 8 and ordered an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly!

These are the greatest shoes ever. I have 5 pairs. They are comfortable enough to go for long walks on the first day. I've had a few pairs for years now and although I always wear them barefoot, they never get stinky. They are simple flats that go with everything, and I get compliments on them all the time. I used to walk to work in them everyday, but now I am a stay at home mom. They are perfect to outings and errands. Stylish and comfortable. If you are looking for the perfect flat, look no further! They do run a little small, so you may want to order half a size up.

Love the shoes! So cute, very comfortable. I personally wish I didn’t order a 1/2 size up initially. I wear a 7.5 and originally ordered 8 as Zappos suggested. They were way too big. I ordered 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The black tejus color is gorgeous. It’s got the slightest shimmer to it. Not glittery or glitzy, just a super sexy shimmer. I hope they restock the green tejus in my size. I want the Zebra... and the pewter... and the leopard...

I’ve tried what seems like a million different pairs of flats before I decided to get these. I was hesitant because of the price, but these are definitely worth it. I ordered 2 pairs; one in my regular size and one a size up. While I could have gotten away with the smaller size, the back of the heel was too tight when walking. So, I kept the larger size for comfort. I really hope they don’t stretch out! The shoe could be a little narrower across the arch to prevent gaping on the side, but oh well! Best flat I have found. I have black and pewter.

The previous reviews suggesting to get a half size larger were correct and I appreciated them. There are a few brands that warrant a half size larger and I will remember this one as being one of them. I wore these shoes for long distance flying in order to facilitate the requirement of removing my shoes for security, as well as having a shoe that was not too tight to allow for swelling, etc. These were great for that.

Absolutely LOVE these shoes!!! I wanted cute and comfortable basic ballet flats that don't blister my heels and ones that cover all of my toes completely. They are super nice. I am getting them in all different colors. So cute! I get so many compliments!
