I am a size 8 to 8.5 and these shoes were so small! At least 1 size smaller than the 8.5 it was sold as. Also, absolutely no arch support.

Very small! At least a whole size up from US size.

These are youthful and make me feel like a dancer. They are soft like a slipper.

I love shoes by French sole. This pair is so simple and elegant. It replaces another black ballet flat they wore out. I originally ordered 1/2 size big but had to return and get a full size bigger. I have sensitive feet and wouldn’t walk in these all day. No support.

I bought my usual size (8.5) in this shoe but like I said, it felt a half size smaller. I have narrow feet. Anyhow, the quality was okay but I knew that the minute I started making excuses for the shoes like "maybe they'll stretch out over time as I wear them at home," I decided it'd be better to return them.

The size was much too small.

Be sure and order at least a half size up. Might have needed a full size but am sure they will stretch. Very cute and reasonably comfortable. But no shoe is comfortable on me so I would suspect most people would find them most comfy!

Bought these in my normal size and had these shoes for a year. These shoes were always tight and never stretched out for me and in the summer it was worse - too tight. I loved the style though found that they were never my go to shoes because the fit was uncomfortable and now after reading the reviews I see that I had the wrong size and needed to size up a half size. I ended up donating my last pair and now I am considering to try these again in a bigger size since I like the style.

The problem with these shoes is that they gape terribly at the arch. It looks fine when standing still but look ridiculous with every step..

The shoes are gorgeous, but they felt slightly smaller than normal for the size..

I wasn’t sure about these at first because they seemed tight. Now I’ve had them for 2 years. They are my favorite “flats”! They’ve held up well, don’t look a day older since I purchased them but best of all they are so light & comfy I think I’m walking in clouds!

I have these in several colors---there is a break in period. They aren't the most comfortable in the world but they work with so much.

Lovely shoe, but it runs small. I am not dancer, but I have worn many shoes and the sizing of this shoe is off. I am not interested in buying a ballet slipper that I have to “break in”I’m just looking for a cute and comfortable flat. If you’re not a ballerina, like some of the previous reviewers, do yourself a favor and order a size up.

I bought this shoe about a year ago in brown and loved it. I just purchased a black pair and the size felt way too small. I am returning it. I will order a whole size up and hope that it works for me. Also, the box the shoes came in was damaged, so I'm sure it was a return.

The shoes run very small. I returned the 9.5 for a 10 and got a 9.5. The shoes looked like they came from someone's closet - they hadn't been worn but the box and paper inside were were definitely not new. Called Zappos to get the right size and a NEW pair but got a lot of attitude instead. Returned the shoes - still waiting for a refund. Awful experience. Will delete the Zappos app once I get the refund, post my experience on social media and stick with Nordstroms & Dillards.

These are just what I want a flat to look like. I ordered a half size larger and they fit better. They are not particularly comfortable but I am hoping after a bit of wearing that they will soften. Flats are hard to find just the right look--not to grandma-y.

These are really cute but they definitely run a half size smaller. They are not the most comfortable---even in the correct size but they are the cutest shoes and I am willing to have less than comfortable feet for the look.

I like the soft leather material and the style of these shoes. However, they felt a size 12 even though I ordered a size 13. Returned.

As many reviewers noted, you are supposed to get your smallest size as they will stretch out and conform to your foot like a ballet slipper. They still felt much too small, and I didn't have time to break them in.

I usually size down to a 9.5 in flats and sandals due to having a narrow foot that causes me to walk out of most 10's. I wear 10.5N in running shoes. Given the reviews saying they stretch, I started with a 9.5 in the Sloop. This did not work as I could barely get my foot in the shoe. I have now tried the 10's and they are also quite snug in the length. Will try again at different times of day to see if this may work or if I need to actually size up through the store website for these as no other seller seems to carry 10.5. The 2nd pair is croco leather, which is a bit shiny and cute but seems not as soft as the nappa, particularly around the edges.

Feels too small I can't even fit my foot in it. The sole is extremely flat.

This shoe is not sized correctly. Omg. At least a size or more too small!
