I like the way they look, work great with jeans, skirts and some work pants. There is very little cushion though. They will work great when I am wearing boots into work and needs something to slip into once I get there that is dressier.

I love them! I hate them! It's true - these shoes have zero support or cushioning. They also get dirty so fast it looks like you have had them for 2 months after only wearing them once. Pretty expensive for all that. Yet - I just bought a second pair! They are so cute!!! They are good for casual wear - great for a quick dinner or traveling to/around the airport. Oh well - just be forewarned and do order a size up.

If only they felt as good as they look - Like the other reviewers I find these shoes a half size smaller than expected (which, luckily, I anticipated with this brand) and painfully tight across the top of the foot (I have wide feet which makes the too tight design worse). And like the other reviewers I too will be keeping them (after having them professionally stretched) b/c they are just so cute. In fact, I'm about to buy two more black pairs to keep the closet stocked with this basic everyday shoe.

Great at first but after 2 amazing weeks they stretched out a size! It's hard to wear them at this point and I've had them less than a month. But what a great first 2 weeks.

I would like to chime in with those who have reviewed this shoe and recommend purchasing your usual flats size. I have found this to be particularly true with suede Sloops, which seem stretchier than the nappa leather. These shoes were very snug at first and my toes jammed up against the end of the shoe. To speed things up, I put on a pair of heavyweight hiking socks and wore them around the house for a while. However, once I took the socks off and put the shoes back on, the shoes were sheer barefoot comfort and are now my go-to for banging around town. They are adorable as well and go with just about anything from jeans to skirts to office attire.

After reading reviews on these shoes I was unsure what size to order. I normally wear an 8. Many of the reviewers were saying go up a half size, and some were saying order your true size because the shoe will stretch and mold to your foot. I decided to go with ordering my normal size 8. I am glad I did because the shoe did stretch and mold to my foot. The first few days it was very uncomfortable but after about the 3rd or 4th day the shoe was becoming very comfortable. I absolutely love this shoe. Looking to purchase another pair.

Small on first try but stretched after one day of wear

I normally wear size 8-8.5 and I wear insoles (1/2 sole) , tried 8.5, 9 and 9.5 and the 9.5 fit perfect. they're super cute and with the insoles they're very comfortable. I would not wear them without the insoles but ONLY because I had plantar fasciitis. Others buyers may be fine with our the arch support.

I’ve bought the Sloop 1/2 size up and I’ve bought them my regular size. The ones 1/2 size up felt absolutely great initially, then quickly stretched and became baggy on my feet. The ones my regular size were initially tight, then quickly molded to fit my feet perfectly. Trust me - order your regular size and work to mold them to your feet.

I really wanted to love this shoe. I read the reviews and decided to order my usual size of 8.5 thinking it might feel snug at first but stretch to perfection. It feels great... expect for the edge of the material before the toe box. It digs into the top of my foot. It might loosen up, but I'm not willing to bet money on it. I tend to be sensitive to a too shallow toe box, so if you're the same, beware. If you've never had that concern, I'd say go for it. It's a beautiful shoe. Soft. So soft. Sad it didn't work.

I ordered a pair with my normal size and another pair half size larger than my normal shoe size. The latter (half size larger) one fit perfectly. Initially I had concern my feet would slip out easily like some of my other similar style shoes would. I have worn this pair for weeks and none of such embarrassing moment have occurred. The shoes are soft and comfortable for walking. I didn't have to stretch it out much to make it feel like mine. One minor note it has zero cushion. It takes a little getting used to but a none-issue for me at this point.

These are darling little shoes. They are so light and comfortable, and they feel like slippers. They are made from soft material that conforms to your feet. This same material also makes for that crinkled worn look, but not in a terribly unattractive way. No toe cleavage! My feet are a bit wider than average, and these shoes fits fine. I ordered black 7½ because of others stating that they will stretch a tad conform to your feet. They fit snugly, but not overly so. I can usually wear 7½ or 8, if I had a do over I would order both sizes, try both on, and send one back. Sorry Zappos, but that is what makes you so awesome...

This shoe is perfect for a flat but stylish shoe. It looks like it would slip off your foot but I have very narrow feet and they never do slip. I purchased the chocolate colored suede ones and love the rich color and style. The flat sole is comfortable and I don't feel the ground underneath them so they're thicker than they seem. I wear a 7 1/2 and that's what I got and they fit like a glove. Good buy!

Bought these in red and love them! Have received many compliments. They don't really have much support, but don't push in on your toes either. I couldn't really wear them for long, extended walking trips because I have kind of bad feet, but for knocking around town for awhile they are absolutely fine. I did order up half a size and they fit great.

I absolutely love my new flats! They fit perfectly-I am a true size 6, and these shoes were made for my foot! I ordered the leopard print pair, and I have worn them with jeans and skirts--and received so many compliments..you will get your money worth if you purchase these shoes!

These are lovely. Tight fitting but they do stretch. They're not for hiking distances, but certainly perfect for shopping, around the house, around town. I love them.

I love these shoes! As the other posters recommended,I bought a size larger than usual and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable although there is no arch support. However, I do really like them. Super cute. I am considering buying another pair.

I have these in two colors and have worn them out after wearing them constantly for about two years. I ordered a half size up and had a to break them in a little, but once I did they fit so perfectly - like slippers. There's not a lot to them, but that's what I like - I have done a lot of traveling in these and walked many miles in them with no blisters or pain. Ready for another pair (or two) - they're really fantastic. I haven't found anything else like them.

Can't tell you how much I love these shoes. A half size up fits perfectly! I wish they made them in a "nude" color for summer.

I bought these flats as my travel evening shoes. They are very comfortable and versatile and fairly water-resistant, as well.

There is not much I can say that has not already been said. They are simple, elegant, comfortable, in love and so forth. As for sizing, it is possible that I could have gotten away with my regular size. When I first got them, they were tight, but have now stretched enough from wear to slip off the back of my feet occasionally. I only wish they made these in a natural fabric such as linen or cotton. I have them in black suede and while they are not noticeably shiny or velveteen-like, they still are not very summery to me.

I absolutely love these shoes. I did have to order a half size larger, as some reviews mentioned. I'm a very consistent 9.5 and had to order a 10. The 10 is perfect! They are really cute and very comfortable. I wouldn't say they have support, per se, but I've definitely had ballerina flats with a lot less structure to the shoe. It's very well made and looks cute with skirts and jeans.

These are flat but soft and flexible which I love especially if one has bunions etc. I order a half size larger in French Sole shoes and am now the proud owner of three pairs.

Had to return this because everyone said by a half size larger, so I did and though one felt sort of okay, I could tell they would stretch, so I would just buy your size. They look beautiful and are really soft and comfy even though I haven't worn them all day, but I wanted to warn people about the sizing.
