Consistent - A little loose in the heal, but great overall comfort and the best running shoe I've found.

I got these shoes when I started college and they are great for walking all over campus. I also had (at the time) chronic ankle instability and these got me through my surgery and physic. They work well with my custom orthotics and also accommodate my ankle brace. I would recommend them to anyone with instability or foot/ankle problems. They fit well and have held up through much abuse.

I wanted to order the same running shoe I had before but it went out. This shoe feels less comfortable.

Comfort & size - Great comfort and foot stabilizing feature once ordered half size larger. Standard size hurt my toes.

Asics Gel-Kayano 13 - Comfortable, not as cushiony on the bottom as I had hoped, but a good running shoe. I ordered a half size larger than my foot measures and fit is great.

Good shoe with good arch support - This shoe has excellent arch support and is attractively styled (for a running shoe). It's a little stiffer or maybe higher around the heel than the Brooks I usually run in. That said, it's given me no blisters even on runs over an hour.

A good running shoe; great foot and arch support. I had last year's version of this shoe, which I felt had a bit better fit to my foot than the new one.

Asics not as wide as I thought - I think they look good and feel good. They are very light. I have a small bunion and I usually have no problem with a wide width shoe. These shoes are not as wide as I thought they would be. They fit OK, but are a bit tight. I would have preferred a little more width.

Good running shoe, but... The fit is great... I wore them to work out for the first time and my feet didn't get sore. Only problem is that there isn't much "grip" on the sole of the shoe. I was slipping around on the wooden floor during my aerobic exercise, and it was difficult to keep my feet planted on the ground! Other than that, it's a good light running shoe, just not good for aerobic exercise, when you need your feet to stick to the ground.

Amazing shoes - Even though the shoe was a little narrower than I would like it to be, I love them. They are a lot better than my Nike shoes that I had previous to these. I ran 6 miles the first time I wore them and they were great. My feet did not hurt one bit!!!!

Disappointed in this shoe - I spent $120 on these and for me it was a waste. They were recommended to me by a personal trainer I work with who said they were great for running. I have a tall, athletic frame and I need a lot of cushioning. For me, they were a complete waste of money! I do not think they provide much cushioning or support at all. Maybe they are good for really petite, compact people but not if you're a 5'10" woman who has broad shoulders and an athletic frame. I ended up buying a pair of Saucony for much less and they are SO much better in terms of cushioning and support. I would personally not recommend these Asics based on my experience. I now use a pair of $120 shoes to run errands.

Maybe it's just my feet but... I recently started walking/running on the treadmill and discovered I have the flattest feet on the planet. After only a few easy workouts, I ended up with a very bad shin splint on one leg. I did a considerable amount of research to see which shoe might be a good replacement for the ones I had and chose this shoe based on its rave reviews from people who have the same problems as I do. I was so disappointed to find that not only do I still have the shin splint; I now have a terrible blister on the arch of the other foot! I've tried adding shock absorbing inserts, wearing thicker socks, two pairs of socks, but nothing seems to work. I’m so disappointed that I spent this amount of $$ for running shoes and received no remedy to my aches and pains.

Looks great, but... Looks great, doesn't fit as well as previous models.

Not worth the price - I pronate really badly. I thought this shoe would be perfect for my feet. Don't spend the money...buy the 2110 or 2120 instead.

Not the best Kayano Asics has made. Just got my new Kayano 13s the other day. In the last 3 days I've put 16 miles on them and my knees have started hurting. (I've never had knee problems) The balls of my feet tingle like they are falling asleep even after loosening the laces. Every Kayano I've ever purchased has been great right out of the box, except these. I’m very disappointed with the new Kayano. Test these shoes indoors so that you can return them if necessary.

Not worth the price - I am really bummed about these shoes. When I put them on they felt a little different than the previous Kayano but running in them was a whole different story. I run 60-70 miles a week and having a shoe that fits perfect is essential. The left shoe felt different than the right and the heel stability is gone. My heels were sliding all over the place. Not to mention they felt heavier and didn't have the same heel to motion as the previous model. I haven't worn an uncomfortable shoe from Asics in a long time...but this one didn't do it for me.

Sore feet - Disappointed, my toes and balls of both feet are numb within 10 minutes whether running trails or on a treadmill. Very frustrated, have tried, different socks, and inserts but to no avail. Great walking shoes and that is about it for me.

No more Asics for me - I have been a faithful Asics shoe buyer for 8 years now and this is by far the worst shoe I have ran in. There shoes sure have gone down in quality over the years. I bought these shoes several days ago and did an easy 5 mile run. My feet were killing me after two minutes!! I kept running anyway and today my feet are swollen and hurting. Keep away from these shoes!!

If you want heel cushioning -- don’t buy - These shoes look great, that’s about it. They have very little cushioning around the heel and toe area; they're pretty narrow. My feet hurt in exactly five minutes...and worse than in any shoes I’ve ever ran in. My feet hurt on the heel, and on the sides. Then in 10 minutes my ankles started to ache and then all the way up to my shins and knees. I continued with my one hour run, enduring the pain and hoping it would ease up, but that didn’t happen. After my run I could barely bend my knees to walk down the stairs. I returned them the next day and ordered New Balance WR873 - which are perfect... great cushioning, perfect in width, great arch support -- and much cheaper.

Not what they used to be - Four years ago I bought my first pair and loved them so much bought five additional pairs the next week. When I find something I love I try to buy as many as possible because I know products change. This shoe and its quality really changed. The minute I put on this new pair I knew big changes had taken place. They may look similar to the old ones but all you have to do is slide your foot into them and immediately you can tell that they are of a cheaper quality. No great padding and the arch support is not the same. Will no longer buy this running shoe. The company has increased its price but decreased on the over quality of this shoe. Signed, Looking for a different shoe.

YUK!!! Hate these! Have had 3 other pair of Kayano’s and these have a very narrow tow box, the sole isn't designed the same and made a neuroma in my foot immediately act up. Don't buy these! I've loved my Kayano’s and will go to another model but these certainly aren't worth the money.

Wore these shoes for 4 hours on carpet at work, I stand all day. My feet hurt so bad. No cushion at all. I ended up barefoot the rest of the day.
