Love These Shoes - I've been wearing these shoes now for several years (have them in several colors) and like them the best for all of my fitness needs...walking, running, etc.

Great choice - I just purchased the ASICS Gel Kayano 13 and they are soo comfortable! I walk around everywhere with them, it's also light and gives enough support.

Rosemarie's walking shoes - It was a pleasure to realize the shoe size was offered in narrow. The store (brick & mortar) never offered it because they did not want to stock it! Presumably because narrow is not a common width size. Thank you Zappos! Now I will order my running shoes from you guys, too!

My sister's favorite running shoe - I ordered this shoe for my sister. She has been a runner for many years and swears by the Gel-Kayano. She likes Asics and says it is worth a few extra bucks to get their top of the line running shoe. She wouldn't wear anything else.

Marathoner - I've worn this shoe in the last marathon, the stability is great. Since I've been fit for this shoe at a store, I'm not sure I could have picked this out alone.

Great shoes - I love these shoes. The only thing to be warned about is the size. If you've been wearing the Kayano for years as I have you will likely find that you need this version 13 in a smaller size. I have always worn a 9.5 and this version runs bigger so I had to buy a 9.

Instant comfort - The first day that I wore these shoes they felt like old friends. Very comfortable. I like the light weight and the "breathability" of the materials.

Happy to buy a fourth pair today! I like this running shoe...and I am picky! Great cushioning (no aches and pains even after the long runs). I plan on buying a fourth pair (4th in six months...marathon training and I like to rotate shoes) as soon as I finish this review. No complaints.

Great shoe - This shoe is great. My husband bought me a pair and now I cannot get enough of them. Every time I wear them it feels like the first time!!!

Great cross training shoe - Ordered this shoe in a Sz 12. A fantastic shoe for running and working out in the gym. Very comfortable and true to size with a little extra room if you like wearing thick socks! Highly recommended for those who like to walk or work out in comfort and although I have a large size, they're a great looking shoe which doesn't look too big. Now I’ve found these, I’ll always buy them to exercise in. :)

Stay the distance! The shoe gives me plenty of room in the toe box, and a good fit overall. I use it as a cross trainer -- walking, running, and in the gym. I always buy a size larger than other shoes, however. Asics’s is definitely the best fitting shoe I've found ... at any price.

Great workout shoe - I got a less expensive Asics first and it was cut higher on the ankle and wasn't as comfortable. I returned it and got the Gel Kayano and it was instantly comfortable. I use it mostly for long walks on concrete and my knees and hips are much less sore.

Awesome shoe - This is the best shoe on the market, as far as comfort. I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis and this shoe makes my daily walking bearable. I cannot say enough about this shoe - and I have tried many shoes lately.

Happy with these for many years - I've been wearing Asics Gel-Kayano runners since 2001, when a physical therapist FINALLY recommended I wear a more supportive shoe and a specialist in Functional Mechanics custom orthotics recommended these. Was she ever right! These shoes have been terrific - I wore nothing else for years, though have recently discovered Gel-Kayano Walkers and a few other shoes better for wearing to my job! But as runners, these can't be beat. Comfortable, flexible, very supportive/stable - they have saved my back and my knees - and my running! (I went from unable to walk to doing a half marathon with these shoes and the custom orthotics!) Had tried many other runners - these were by far the best for my feet/build. I'm very loyal to them.

Best Running Shoes Ever!! I thought I would never find running shoes that fit me well and were comfortable until I found these. They absorb shock very well and now my treadmill workouts are doable. These are great for all day wear too.

Love the shoe - I love the new Gel Kayano - I checked that there is excellent arch support, but that may be because I am using my orthotics in my shoes. The orthotics fit really well in the shoes and they don't smoosh my toes like some running shoes tend to do. I had last year's Gel Kayanos and I got bruised toenails whenever I raced. So far I haven't had that kind of experience with these. If I could, I would sleep in these because they are sooo comfortable.

Serious shoes if you need serious support! I over-pronate severely, so on days that involve a lot of walking I'd better have some really solid shoes (and my custom orthotics) to keep me in alignment or else I get pretty achy. This is the third pair I've had from the Asics Gel series - I've been very happy with them. This model is more expensive than the last two I had, but honestly I picked it for the color. I do wish Asics would offer each shoe in more than one color! I think they're fine-looking with jeans, but they're pretty clunky with shorts. I think "in reality" I'm 10.5 narrow, but these do run shorter than marked. All my Asics have been 11.5 medium (which leaves room to insert my orthotic on top of the insole).

Please, but would like a darker grey. I love the shoe, but I prefer a shoe that is darker grey than this one. In the Kayano 13 this is the darkest color they have. I would like to see it in a darker grey, if not a black. I wear orthotics and this shoe works great with them.

Great shoes - Asics are the best running shoes for my feet, and this shoes felt great the moment I put them on.

LOVE these shoes! I love these shoes. They have the best arch support and are great for running. This is my second pair purchased to wear as work shoes. They offer great support and breathe wonderfully, keeping my feet clean and dry. I do order a half size up on Asics, as they run small.

Gel Kayano 13 - My Gel Kayano 13s are so comfortable. This is my 2nd pair of Kayano’s and they are just as comfortable as the Kayano's I just wore out. These are my 2nd pair of Asics (Kayano) and I have run in Saucony’s, Reebok and Adidas, and these are the most comfortable I have ever run in, in my 29 years of running. Thanks Zappos for getting them to me overnight FREE...

Great for any activity - I have enjoyed Asics for many years and they are the only ones that truly fit my feet. They run a little small but great comfort.

So comfortable! I love these shoes. After buying my first pair last year I was hooked on the Kayano’s. They are the most comfortable and supportive running shoes out there.

This shoe like its predecessors is a terrific shoe for virtually all purposes. Equally at home pounding the New York City streets and the Jones Beach boardwalk. Good for work and for play. Terrific support and comfort; this is the shoe you will find yourself grabbing for again and again and again.

Fabulous!! I have this shoe in two colors. My feet are so comfortable, and they perform well.
