Pure comfort and support for supporting a big runner - Stability, comfort and support are the strongest characteristics of this shoe. Asics engineering is 2nd to none and is not reliant on "gimmicky" news of the day/trends. A very worthwhile investment that will not disappoint your feet and more importantly lower body.

Great gels - Great shoe, good support, holds my orthotics like they were fit together. I had a pair that wore down rapidly in the back of the heel. Zappos took them back for me. Immediately got another!

Fantastic running shoe - Fits well, looks great and does the job it was designed to do. It took a few wears to "break in", but feels great now.

Asics-13 - Only shoe I use for casual wear and exercise walking - worth the money.

Kayano is "Asics" for awesome - I just returned from a 45 min. spin with my dog, and I am extremely happy with my new Kayano 13's. I have been a fan of Asics since high school (early 90's when gel WAS FOR HAIR, AND AIR WAS KING) but I have certainly strayed. NB, Nike, Adidas, have all done their jobs adequately, Nike never has fit well though. Asics is the brand that I return back to. The fit is a 1/2 small as most runners are so order up from your street shoes. The pronation control is solid, the heel strike is softened, and the extra fat padded tongue is quite comfortable. This shoe is stable without feeling like you’re strapped onto carbon fiber lasts that won’t yield until your tendons scream. I am flat footed, and appreciate Asics modest arch.

Asics Gel-Kayano 13 raises the bar - Asics Gel shoes had “gone soft” in recent years causing many a sore customer to abandon this top-of-the-line lightweight runner. The 13 brings back a firmness to the sole and footbed that should bring back the true believers. This shoe is as good as it gets for those who need arch support and tend to pronate in a lesser model. The outer is a bit gaudy with shiny silver highlights, but it fades quickly in the dust and grime all white shoes attract.

Perfect! I've officially changed from New Balance to Asics!!! These shoes are amazing. Great support, fashionable and they don't hurt my feet.

Best running shoe ever! ASICS running shoes are the best shoes ever made. I have tried other running shoes and have found that ASICS are the best. The Gel-Kayano 13 is so comfortable and gives great support when running, even when you run more than 3 miles. The comfort is still there. I have never had a blister from these shoes. I would order them again and I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers. My girlfriend, who used to use Adidas for running, has now switched over to ASICS. She could not believe the difference in comfort, especially while running.

The Best Shoes - Unlike many of the other people who bought these shoes, I am not a pro runner. In fact, I have weak ankles and have always struggled to reach a meager 2 Mi. These shoes have enabled me to run an easy 3.5 mi in record time and without the use of ankle braces! If ever there was a performance enhancing shoe this is it! And by the way... they look better in real life!

Great - I have always worn Asics and have recently switched to the Kayano’s. I think they are a great shoe and give me no foot problems what so ever. They are awesome, and for the fact that I run anywhere from 20-30 miles a week, they are still great.

Kayano 13 - My first Zappos order and my first high-end Asics running shoe. Made the switch from New Balance to Asics 2 pair back. This is the best running shoe yet. Very comfortable, stable, with good sole cushion.

Really a great shoe! I'm flat footed and this shoe really helps me maintain my balance. It also reduces pain in my knees. I've already ordered a second pair from Zappos.

Very pleased with its shock absorption capabilities - This is one of the best running shoes I've ever owned in terms of its shock absorption capabilities!

Second Pair of Kayanos - A couple years ago I decided to spend the money on a really good pair of running shoes because I was running enough that it was worthwhile. I bought a pair of Gel-Kayanos that lasted me way longer than I expected. Sadly, I didn't have the money to replace them, so I bought other cheaper shoes and was never satisfied. Finally had the cash to by another pair of Asics and I'm happily running in them again!

Great shoe - I bought these for my brother; they are the only shoes he wears. He finds them really comfortable with a great arch support. Plus they come in a variety of widths so no matter how big/small your feet are you can find your perfect fit!

Great Shoe - I've always like ASICS and these are the best. VERY comfortable. True to fit.

How did ASICS do it? The ASICS Kayano "13" is an improvement on the already terrific Kayano "12" that I have had for a year. Same or improved, confident, arch/midsole support on my size 15 feet; great fit overall. Only negative...too much white on the upper that gets dirty fast. Ya know...some of us run in the rain!!!!

Great shoe - Love the look and fit. The only very minor complaint would be that the inside of the shoe is already wearing after only 2 weeks.

So far so great! I'll let you know by the end of the year if these are the best shoes I've ever owned. But after just two days I can tell you that yes initially these are at least in the top three athletic shoes I have owned. I am very flat footed prone to over pronation and carry a solid 205 lbs on my frame. Great stability control over pronation is corrected. Wide enough to keep my feet from going numb yet snug enough to feel secure. Firm cushioning, I do not feel like I am bouncing on an air bag but can feel the shock absorption. Previously bought NIKE and New Balance both were good for what they offered but out of the box this shoe has them beat, it will be interesting to see how they hold up as I use them as my everyday shoe. If you are flat footed with over pronation you just might want to try these. And my purchasing experience with Zappos.com was phenomenal!

A cushiony upgrade to the 12 - 6'4" - 205 I like this shoe better than the 12. It has more cushion which makes a huge difference on my knees. I run 4 miles a day and can really tell the difference. I think the upper of the 12 fit better/more glove like. Wish I could get a 12 with the 13 sole. Maybe next year...

Great shoe! This is one of the best shoes Asics has come out with yet!

Back where I started - I didn't realize how good my first pair of Gel Kayano’s were until I switched to a pair of New Balance running shoes. The New Balance were OK but now that I'm back in a new pair of Gel Kayano’s, I can appreciate how good these shoes really are.

A Great Shoe! Ever since I purchased my first Asics shoe this is pretty much the only brand I buy. I just wish they made dress shoes. This model by far is one of the best I've ever had. I'm also happy that they come in different widths. A great shoe!!
