This is my third pair of these. What I like most about Keen shoes is that they have a large toe box, both width and height. That makes them feel a whole lot better than other shoes. They're ugly, but comfortable. I wear them as work shoes all day, almost every day, until they fall apart. The waterproofing is OK. Like most shoes of this sort it's good for about three months and then starts to fail. I have to silicone spray them after that to keep them dry. In my experience, Keen Dry process is not quite as good as Gore Tex process. These fit closer to American size than most shoes made in China, maybe a quarter/half size smaller, but no one makes a 13 1/2, so us big guys are out of luck.

As everyone else says, this shoe runs small. I wear a 13 (including other keen styles) and had to go with a 14 in this shoe. Just got back from a week in Colorado and these shoes performed very well. They are indeed waterproof and they are VERY comfortable with their large toe box. The ventilation doesn't work very well and my feet get pretty steamy in them on a hot Central Texas day, but that's a side effect of any waterproof shoe I've tried. I gave it four stars for this reason. I switched to this shoe from Merrell and so far I'm happy with the choice. I loved my Merrells but with the extra toe room in the Keens, my toes are much happier after a long day of hiking. Will see how well they hold up over time to know if I'll buy again, but so far I like them a lot.

Overall a great shoe. I had some issues with the sizing. An 11.5 seemed too large, slipping at the hear some. I ordered an 11 to replace the larger size, but they were way too small. I ended up keeping the 11.5 pair, though they are a touch loose. Love the shoes though. Built very sturdy and great for working on concrete floors for hours on end.

It wasn't the exact shoe footwear that I'd sen on the Keen site but I'm satisfied until I buy the other shoe I originally wanted.

Always wear a 13. Have this boot from about 4 years back size 13. Bought this latest pair and toe is hitting the end of shoe - it's just too small.

This is a replacement of a very similar model from Keen. The previous shoe was a 9, but this is half a size smaller. Returning for a 9.5.

I've worn many Keens in 11 1/2 that fit well. These are too narrow, too short , and too cramped up front. Zappos service so good! Wish that I didn't have o return these.

I have owned two pairs of Targhee IIs and have worn them out. My last pair lasted a good year and then the bottom started coming off in different places. I do a lot of hiking and photography and these things work perfectly, keeping my feet dry with great traction. Maybe they could use stronger glue on the rubber! They work great in the mud, too! I wear them to work in the wet grass and my feet stay dry. Overall these are good shoes.

There are a nice shoe. I like the design because the toe is wider than most...but the overall fit is not too wide. They have sort of a square toe design that for me makes them very comfortable.

I have always been a Merrell guy, but lots of people have told me that Keen's are really comfortable. I ordered these from Zappos, and while they are really comfortable, they just don't fit my foot. I am a 15 wide, and these seemed wide enough, but my heel just kept slipping out when I walked. I wish it fit well, because it seemed very comfortable. Thank goodness for Zappos great return policy!

This is a great shoe, very comfortable. The only weird thing is that there is a sort of webbing attaching the tongue to the rest of the shoe and once it comes out it doesn't seem to have a place to go back. This makes the tongue bulge out a little and it a little looks odd. Pretty minor and I'd still recommend these.

I really liked this shoe. However, when I purchased it, I was looking for a winter boot. This is made really well, but since it isn't insulated, it doesn't keep your feet warm. However, the shoe is really well made. Like all Keen shoes, it's got great traction and the added toe support is really nice. The footbed support is superb and definitely feels natural. The shoe is pretty light for its construction. The lacing system (and the laces) is really great, making tying very quick and secure. The waterproofing is really nice, and the gusseted tongue keeps debris out. I liked the styling of the shoe. It might be a little 'trailish' in pictures, but in person it really looks nice. I recommend the darker colors personally. I also always liked the way Keen soles look. I definitely recommend this shoe to anyone who needs a great waterproof shoe. It just isn't the best for cold weather since it is not insulated. It's got great support, traction, comfort, and features.

This is a very nice shoe and very comfortable, though it does fit 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. Waterproof lining does keep your feet very warm and dry from the elements, but it does make your feet sweat some.

Shoes run small. Frustrating that they don't make half sizes for size 12 or larger.

I bought these shoes as a primary hiking shoe. So far, they meet my expectations. I haven't yet tested the waterproof feature. The overall fit is comfortable, but the heel is a bit loose (but acceptable). The treads are rigid, but comfortable. I feel that these shoes will meet my needs of moderate to vigorous hiking footwear, while providing comfortable protection on the trail.

I love my Keen shoes! They are hard to find,especially in the correct sizes, Zappos allows you to try out different sizes, pick the one that fits and return the others and they pay for shipping. What a great way to buy shoes online!!

My feet are rather narrow, so I\'d really prefer a narrower boot. I don\'t think Keen really understands narrow feet. It\'s hard to tie them tight enough so they don\'t slop around, but loose enough so that they don\'t hurt.\r\n\r\nOn the other hand, they are reasonably comfortable, they seem to be well made, and I like the way they look.

This is my 4 the pair of Keen Targhee II. They are exceedingly comfortable. I use them for exercise, day hikes and a casual shoe on weekends. The bottoms wear out easier then I would like but the comfort is 4+.

Love these shoes - got them prior to a trip to Italy, and they served me quite well as I walked 4-6 miles per day on cobblestoned streets. They are very comfortable, with a wide toe box not found in many shoes. They might run 1/2 size small, no more. My first Zappos experience was great!

These were for my husband. He usually wears an 11.5, but I had bought the 12 based on other reviews and also how Keens fit me. He loved them and they fit great. Nice arch support and good colors to go with a pair of jeans or cords.

This is my third pair of Keens. First pair was the original Targhee, second was Voyageur. This pair, Targhee II felt significantly larger than the previous pairs that I had to change to a 10 from 10.5. This was a little disappointing.

Great shoe. Runs small. I typically wear a 12 in any other shoe, but had to go with a 13 for this one.
