Simply put these are my favorite hiking shoes. Excellent for hiking and backpacking. , whether for brief day hikes or multiday backpacking. My two criticisms: after about a year of aggressive hiking the footbed feels warped. I will Keen would partner with Vibram to have better traction. Very slippery on wet rock slabs. All that being said, comfortable right out the box, and the boot I can do 20 plus miles in!

I've taken them up to the mountains, and they are definitely boots that need to be broken in. But they will become my go to boots, the toe box is the comfiest I've found.

These are wonderful shoes for my feet. High quality and long lasting. It would be better however if the heels were made of a more durable material or replaceable. I wear a pair for a year and then due to heel wear have to replace them. I have done this at least a half dozen times.

The Targee II is a great hiking, or just wear around shoe/boot.

I have EE feet. I have tried on many other brands that accommodate "wide" feet, most never make it out the fitting area. The few that I have purchased in the past needed a break-in period and some stretching before they were tolerable. These Keens fit well right from the start. I'm not sure why I didn't try Keens from the beginning but at least I have found them now. We'll see about long-term durability. I have only had these boots a few weeks and, because of my work (business casual), I haven't been able to wear them as often as I would like by now. So far I'm pleased.

I gotta give these a shoutout. When going backcountry hunting you gotta ditch the bow hunting tall boots. These right here have been better than any hunting boot Ive ever owned and they are warm, durable, and most of all reliable. I used these this week in 7 deg temps with windshield of zero with ONE pair of merino woolhunting socks. You will not be disappointed

My fifth or sixth pair since this model came out. They fit and are comfortable with a nice wide toe area and good ankle support.. Please, it ain't broke, don't try and fix it. Just keep it available

poor quality I have bought this same style of boots for 3 years, the last ones I ordered poor quality broke after 2 months of use and are not padded, very dissapoiment

Every pair of Keens Ive ordered have been outstanding. Ive been wearing keens for approximately 15 years now. Since 2006 when I had a hip replacement surgery due to a work accident its about all I can find that work for me. The surgery made a 1/2 discrepancy on on left hip longer thus I have to have added on a 1/2 inch to the right boot every time. Thanks.

This is my third pair of Targhees. I have "square" feet and need a wide toe box for comfort but a regular fit through the arch. The Keen's is one the few boots that feel great. Out of the box comfort. Good durability. Ok wet traction.

I keep going back to Keen for all of my footwear needs. They always have the perfect fit right out of the box and have zero break in time no matter the style. I've worn keen work boots for years and when I needed a pair of hiking boots, their was no other choice. It has always been hard to order wide shoes online but Keen boots run true to size both in width and length it's a perfect fit every time.
