I have had these before and they are my favorite hikers.

I have put about 24 miles on the new boots and my feet feel great.

Not very comfortable

I love them. Like any new boot, they take time to break in, and since I only wear them occassionally, their total comfort is slowly coming.

Not the same insole as the shoes not even close to the comfort level of the shoes

I had issues with two previous pair of these boots. The soles were constructed for fashion over function and consequently did not last a year of Arizona hiking. The new pair seems to have improved the construction of the soles. Here hoping - I like fit.

This would be my 4th time buying this style boot and they hold up over the years. They will be my got to for as long as they keep making this style. They are comfortable on hikes and as work boots. I have a wide foot and these are perfect. Highly recommend them.

My 3rd pair of these in size 12wide. They'll, of course, need a little breaking in to conform to my feet and, in due course, I know I'll have to start re-gluing separating soles but I can live with that for the best out-of-the-box comfort I have found in a hiking boot.
