I love Keen shoes - This is my second pair of Targhee II shoes. I live on a golf course and walk early in the morning when the grass is very wet. These shoes keep me completely dry. They are very supportive without sacrificing comfort. I have wide feet and they fit me great and they are very true to size.

Very durable and comfortable boot - I work in construction and this is the most durable and comfortable boot I have tried for being on your feet all day. I did need to order a half size up.

I love the Helen style,--have several, but I find them narrower than other models of Mephisto sandals, and so I would love to see a WIDE offered, since I'm assuming a majority of women find medium sufficient. Love Mephistos so much...and anything that gets reduced I like even more. :)

My Experience with Targhee ll - Excellent hiking and casual shoe. Solid comfort throughout. Quality lace and lacing network, except I would prefer a rounded metal hook at the top. The shoe conforms to my foot with thin socks or hiking socks without any loss of comfort. So far I have only done fair weather hiking short distances with 25 pound pack and the shoe does not need extensive break-in miles, my feet did not bother me after a 10 mi. hike. I would buy this shoe again. The shoe was 2 sizes too small.

Happy Customer - I bought these shoes for my husband through Zappos since they did not have his size at the sporting goods store. He absolutely loves these shoes! They are extremely versatile as he wears them for work, hiking, snow shoeing, etc...They are well worth the price!

Keen Targhee 2 - This was my first pair of Keen footwear. Got my order next day service. Keen runs approx a 1/2 sz small for me. So, I returned 1st pair and received replacement correct sz. I'm a day hiker in N. GA, lots of rocks with some small stream crossings. My Keens were perfect right out of the box & on 1st hike. To my surprise break in period was not needed. Zappos service was awesome. I'll be back for more!

Super Work Shoe! Bought this shoe for my husband for work. He is on his feet 8 hours at a stretch. These boots give him great support. No break in time, no blisters! They look great too - sporty without being too "hiking boot".

My son loves these boots - My 26 year old son loves these boots. I received the boots promtly. They also carried mens size 13 in stock...if you like weekend hikes or a boot to kick around in, these are a great choice.

Very comfortable... This probably is the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever worn. I have size 15.5 feet that are quite narrow. The sizing on this boot is a little narrow and short, but, it worked to my advantage and a size 16 provided the perfect fit. I haven't yet gone on a long hike with it, but, it feels like it will perform... Also, the coloring on the Zappos site is very accurate when compared to the coloring on the actual Keen site.

Check the size - I wear 10.5 in most shoes, about 10% of the time an 11.0. THIS shoe and 11.5 fit. Go at least a half size larger.

Great boot! I wore this boot on a ten mile hike after very little previous wear time. It performed remarkably well. Very comfortable with no blistering or soreness at all. I felt a bit of rubbing at the ankle especially on steep downhill trails. I was wearing fairly light socks, however. The boot was dry in a light rain. Go at least one size larger.

Evaluation - The hiking shoe has a firm, comfortable fit. It meets any hikers requirements.

Best shoes ever! I work for a tire company here in the Northwest and I am on my feet for 12+ hours a day. I have never had any brand of shoe that is as comfortable and durable as the Keen. I would recommend Keens to anyone. I now wear nothing but Keen shoe at home and work. These are the best shoes you can buy for your feet.

Light & Right - Shoe felt as if it were broken in right out of the box. Boot is light and very comfortable.

Great light weight waterproof boots - 2008-10-07 Keen Targhee II Mid I bought this shoe over a year ago and have loved it ever since. All I wanted was a pair of decent-looking waterproof boots for rainy days. I live in Texas and just don't need heavy snow boots, and most of the waterproof boots I saw just looked way too... well, waterproof. I liked the Keen styling and ordered a pair. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was that these boots were tight. They didn't fit like my Keen Austins size 11. I loved the boots, but they had to go back. Zappos service was stellar - the sizing issue meant they didn't have my size in stock, so I waited for my size to come in. When I called a few weeks later I was told they wouldn't be getting any more stock any time soon, so Zappos helped me find the shoes at another store! I finally got my Targhee II Mids (spoiled by Zappos shipping), and could not believe the comfort and light weight. These boots really do feel almost like tennis shoes. Very flexible, light weight, and have kept my feet dry, even in standing water up past the laces. I have worn them hiking, worn them in the rain, and worn them out and about with jeans. The color and styling don't scream WATERPROOF BOOT. I ended up buying a pair for my dad. He wears his all the time, too. * Sizing... Unfortunately, there is no "standard" for sizing. As great as Zappos is, the one major problem is that we are left to trust other people's judgment about how a shoe fits them, and how that shoe _should_ fit them. That's why you can see reviews of the same shoe with someone describing it a "Felt a half size smaller than marked" and two reviews down, someone else describing THE SAME SHOE as "Felt a half size larger than marked." Way too many variables. Rather than trust that I know what I'm talking about with regard to shoe sizing, here are some comparative examples that might help you make a better decision about sizing. I wear a size 11 in most shoes - atheletic and dress. That includes New Balance running shoes, Chuck Taylor Converse shoes, Adidas running shoes. I wear an 11 in most other shoes: Clarks, Dr. Marten, some Keens (though Keen has whack sizing issues), and Merrells. In the case of these boots, they fit a half size smaller. The 11s were too tight. Definitely go up at least a half size. If you wear thick socks, you might go up a full size.

Best shoes I've ever had - Love these shoes! No need to break in. Ready to go right out of the box. Felt true to toughness. These are the gotta have it shoes.

I'm now a Keen fan - I got my Targhee II boots yesterday. Very comfortable straight out of the box - no need to break in. I ordered a half-size larger than usual, per the advice I've read here, and the boots fit perfectly. They are very lightweight, not bulky at all.

Another great pair!! These boots are great for my husband's work! He is a plumber/electrician and finds them very comfortable. They may not be a durable as "work boots" but so worth the comfort difference. I always keep one pair "new" for dressier evenings and move the other pair to work. The speed of delivery us unbelievable and FREE! Love Zappos.

Very comfortable - Great shoe wear for work (landscape industry) here in Florida a bit clumsy and my balls on my feet get tired.

Great boot! I got these boots for a hiking trip and put some good mileage on them. They are very comfortable and supportive. Especially great during long day trips, even in muddy conditions. My only gripe is that I stepped in dog doody and I tracked it throughout my whole house. Now my wife is mad at me because I refuse to clean it up! Thanks Keen for another great product!

Keens Targee II Mid - Have owned this hiking boot for a month. Am currently using it to walk the jungles of Guatemala. Will be back in Michigan. It is a great boot. Fit right out of the box. True to size and width. I have flat feet and it has very good arch support. I recommend it without reservation.

Very Comfortable!! Make sure you order a full size larger than usual. I like the ease of lacing up and tying. Excellent arch support. Plus, there's plenty of room for toes. Very comfortable and a great value...

Fits Great - Immediate 'feel good' fit, 1st order was returned...sizing seems 1/2 size too small, very agile & light, break-in period is '0', good arch sp't, wear w/med. hiking sox.
