These shoes are light-weight and well worth the money. Easy on and easy off and my daughter loves the deep purple color.

New to Tsukihoshi as I've always bought Pediped, Stride Rite or Saucony for kids. I read reviews and bought a couple of Tsukihoshi sneaker styles for my 4 yo daughter to try. As soon as she put them on, she ran around the house and said, "Look how fast I can run!" She's a medium width and outgrown her size 10 Stride Rite sneakers. She recently measured at 10-1/2 at the shoe store. I bought a size 10 and 10-1/2 in 2 different Tsukihoshi sneaker styles for her to try since many reviews said this brand runs big (and even Zappos sizing tip says to order half size down), and although the size 10 fit her, I kept the size 10-1/2 instead so that she'd have a finger's width at the top of the shoe to grow into. She did not complain that the 10-1/2 was too big. I think if I kept the size 10, she'd be out of that within a few months. So from my experience I'd order true to size. We settled on this style, but I will definitely be purchasing this brand for my 20-month old son when he outgrows his current Stride Rite.

These are great shoes. My daughter has sensory processing disorder (overly sensitive tactile) and most socks and shoes make her miserable...these are the only shoes she has worn for 2 years. (I keep buying the next size up.) She literally wears them all day at school and on the weekends and they hold up very well. The velcro is secure and she's able to make it very "snug," which is important to her. They also are "smooth" (her words) on the inside, meaning no big seams or bumps. I love that they wash well, and honestly, even without washing they stay good looking because of the color and material.

I bought these shoes for my 7 year old daughter. She says they are very comfortable and are a great active (playing, jumping, etc) shoe. I appreciate the price and the surprising quality of the shoe. I will order from this brand again.

Tsukihoshi shoes are lightweight and comfortable. I like this one in particular because of the one strap. My daughter who is 2.5 years old is able to put on her shoes all by herself, which makes her feel like she is one of the big kids. In terms of color, I originally thought the color was too dark. As such, I wanted to get a different color. But, I actually like the color. It's a nice shade of purple.

My daughter loves these shoes. It's the third pair of Tsukihoshi shoes I've gotten for her over the years...and I couldn't be happier. She has narrow feet and they fit snug (which is usually hard to find). They fit very true to size as well. I've been very satisfied with this product.

My daughter had a stroke as an infant, and wears an AFO on one leg. These shoes fit nicely over the brace, and the loop in back makes it easier to pull it on over the brace also. I have bought these now in 2 sizes. They have a great grip, which is important because she has balance issues. And I like that the easy-on aspect gives her some independence.

Amazing shoe. Worth the hefty price tag. Comfortable, machine-washable, and a little bit more hipster than the traditional Nike etc. sneaker.

Absolutely love these shoes! The fuschia color is perfect and goes with all of my daughters clothes. So easy to wash and they dry quickly. Durable, they do get some scuffing on the toe but other than that the shoes look new after washing after almost a year of my daughter playing in the sandbox, playground etc. She outgrows them before they need to be replaced and there's plenty of wear left for her little sister. Best shoes I've found. Have also tried Merrell, Stride Rite and Staucony which I liked all three but these beat them out in style, comfort and durability.

My daughter loves these shoes - very comfortable and durable. In general, this brand has a great selection of shoes for both boys and girls. Attractive and fun. Good quality, even if a bit expensive.

I think these shoes are great! They are well made, comfortable and my daughter loves the color. I felt they ran a tiny bit big but did not mind as it gave her room to grow.

I ordered two sizes because I wasn't sure how these shoes would run...and why not with Zappos awesome free return service. I discovered these shoes are true to size but I did go up a size considering its for my toddler who is growing like a weed! These shoes provide great stability and are light weight and quick and easy to put on and off. I love the little loop on the back too. Color is great. My daughter is obsessed. This maybe the first pair into creating a shoe monster!

These shoes seems light-weight and comfortable, but there is a problem with the size. When I received the shoes I noticed that the euro size and the measurement in cm. are correct but the U.S. size is not (it is just a reprint of the U.K. size). I think Zappos should list the euro size for ordering. Knowing that for the future, I'm just going to use their conversion chart, since the size listed is U.K., and find the corresponding U.S. size.

My daughter LOVES these shoes. She's actually on her 4th pair and I've NEVER had a problem. They are super high quality, breathable mesh, and very easy to put on/off. My daughter has fine motor issues but can put these shoes on all by herself, which is HUGE. I've tried many other brands, but I can say with confidence, this shoe is fantastic. Good quality, machine washable, stretch, gives support, and comes in fun colors. We've had the pink/fushia ones (2 pairs) and also the silver/pink ones (1 pair). This brand is worth the price.

I've been buying Tsukihashi Kids shoes for the past 6 years now! Every time our daughters go up a size! They are easy to put on and take off, sturdy and you can WASH them! Best tennis shoes ever for kids.

Lightweight, comfortable, washable and cute, a great combo! My daughter loves these and they are holding up well. We had bought the very light pink color first, and the color did not hold up well. Within a few weeks the color had worn away and they looked awful. This darker pink was a replacement and they have stayed looking like new. Also have them in dark purple and they look great too, even after 6 months. So I would just stay away from the very light colors in this style.

Shoes look great; very well made and sturdy. They run a bit large, which was ok - room to grow into them. We keep coming back to this brand.

Perfect shoes. Easy for our 6-year-old to put on herself. She wore them new on a 3-day tour of DisneyWorld and there were no problems at all... and best of all, no complaints. And she's picky! We did order a size smaller as suggested.

My four year old daughter has become very particular about shoes so we browsed zappos.com together and these are the shoes she picked out. This is the third pair of Tsukihoshi shoes our family has owned and they are all excellent. Sturdy, stylish, and well-fitting.

These shoes work so well for my daughter who wears DAFO's/orthotics/braces. Many parents and therapists have asked me about these shoes. They open really wide and allow me to get her DAFO in the shoe without wrestling (and a shoe horn is really helpful!). Highly recommended for DAFO wearers. My daughter has a tiny, narrow foot so with a DAFO on, her foot still fits easily into the shoe. I take the insert out so the DAFO provides the arch support.

My daughter loves them. My husband loves how easy they are to get on and off. Rugged and do not show wear or dirt easily. You can't dress them up but other than that great.

My 6 year old son is extremely picky about shoes and only wants to wear something "comfortable" which meant only wearing "crocs". I was desperate to find a sneaker he would actually wear and I FINALLY found it with Tsukihoshi sneakers. This brand is fantastic!! It is lightweight, flexible and washable. How much better can it get? These are the ONLY sneakers he will wear and I am finally able to get him out of crocs!! This is what led me to buy the same brand for my daughter. She loves this pair. They are flexible, comfortable and stylish. A mother's dream :)
