Privo's Sofrito - I love the look of the shoe...first time I wore them I got on a plane and the stewardess commented on how much she loved them! I'm having problems with the sizing, a little wider than my average width feet. I hoped to wear them without socks, but the heels slip a little, though the toes are plenty snug. Overall, glad I bought them, but still need to work thru the problems for my fit.

Good for walking. My feet felt very suffocated at first but as I keep on using it, it's ok.

Great addition to my wardrobe - Love these! They are very simple to slip on and off at the airport! Cute with jeans or shorts. They feel better with a small sock.

I like the look and overall comfort of this shoe. The only minor drawback is that the elastic binding is not adjustable and therefore, the shoe is a little wide near the top. Nevertheless, I'd buy another pair.

Privo Sofrito - I like the shoe. I had to return the original pair and get a half size smaller. They definitely run big. The new pair fits much better. It is not a snug shoe. It is fairly loose fitting unless you have very wide feet. I really like them. They look good and are quite comfortable!

Love the look of this shoe. My only complaint is that it is a little too wide for those with a narrow foot. I wish the elastic band was adjustable, this would help. I can't wear these without a sock as I had hoped; they are just too wide and rub at the ankles and heel.

Nice shoe for the price - Good, comfortable running around shoe. I wear size eleven and have been trying for two years to find a shoe like this without being too bulky or huge looking for my feet so these were a good find. It is lacking a bit in arch support so if you need to be on your feet all day you might want to look into another shoe.

Nice fit, looks great w/ jeans. Works great when on your feet for extended time.

Comfy alternative to a standard sneaker - Very comfy, wore them for 4 hours the first time on. Wish they came in a narrow but so many shoes do not. They might get a tad sloppy with time but one could insert laces if needed.

They’re so cute - I ordered this one night before bed and had them by dinner the next day - amazing! They are adorable and comfy, but ran 1/2 size large. I'm exchanging them for the next 1/2 size down. I wear a narrow, but often find that Privo will work for me with their adjustable widths.

Comfortable Shoe - I found the shoe to be large and had to order a smaller size but that might be because my foot is narrow and this does not come in narrow. It's extremely comfortable and easy to slip on. I wear it a lot!!!

Comfortable Shoe - The only beef I had with this shoe is that is it 1/2 to 1 size larger than my other pair of Privos! that I own. Other than that, I really like these shoes.

Cute shoe - Cute but a bit cut narrow so it's not great for thick socks. I was hoping these would replace my manly looking Keens but my Keens are much warmer in bad weather.

Review of Privo Sofrito - Comfortable but I have a pair of Tsubo shoes that are a little more comfy.

Not as comfortable as it looks - Looked really comfortable, stylist, super-insole - problem is with the elastic laces - cannot tighten without a lot of trouble tying knots - then they are stretched when you untie them. Look great but not super comfortable.

Privo Sofrito - These are really comfortable shoes, except for the rubbing on the heel as described in other reviews. I thought I'd try them for myself, because you never know. They only rubbed on the back of my left foot, which is a bit bigger than my right, and the right foot slid up and down. Ordering a smaller size would have been too small. The width is a tad big but not enough to order a size down. I say, try the shoe because they are very comfortable and may not rub on your foot. Too bad, they rubbed on mine; I think they would have been perfect for walking around Ireland, which was the intended purpose. They look great and are very, very comfortable other than the rubbing. Thanks again to ZAPPOS for their excellent service!

First pair wonderful - second pair - not SO wonderful! Ordered these shoes last year (April 07) and just like everyone else, they fit wonderfully right out of the box. Very, very comfortable - no need to “break in". Perfect. Bought them to wear for 3 week trip to Europe, wore every single day. Walked for miles - no blisters - just perfect. FAST FORWARD to June 08 - now my "perfect" shoes are almost all worn down (I wear them almost every single day!). Ordered ANOTHER pair in same exact size, same style, different color - opted for the nubuck leather so the trim is different... got them and left shoe is too tight and rubbed on heel. Not comfortable at all. Gave them 2 days of carpet/tile wear - still not happy. Returned them for another pair identical to first pair - all nubuck and I am miserable… EVEN TIGHTER and MORE UNCOMFORTABLE ! Couldn't even get them on without a shoehorn, rubbed both back heels. Tried them for over 2 hrs, could NOT stand the discomfort, am returning them . I have no idea how same shoe, style, size, and model can have completely different feel. Loved the "Zappos" experience - they couldn't be nicer or make it easier, but after 2 tries - I give up... ( at least with these shoes). First pair would get all 5 stars - second and third pair only 1-2 stars...

Not as Good as Expected - When I first put on these shoes, I was very pleased with the sporty look, and they felt comfortable. The comfort, however, was short-lived. The backs of these shoes are high and were digging into my ankles, so I bought some heel insoles to give them a bit of lift. This was somewhat helpful, except that the insoles won't stay stuck to the fabric inside the shoe, which means they keep slipping around. Very annoying. Also, the size 12 fits me perfectly except for a bit of rubbing on my little toes. So, these shoes are really only semi-comfortable, and I can only really wear them for a couple of hours at a time. This was very disappointing since I bought them to use for walking when I went on vacation.

Breaking in is a long process - I bought this shoe, and at first was fairly happy with it. It looks decent- sporty without being bulky. The fit seemed good, soles are comfy yet a little flimsy- but then mid day on my first day of wearing them they begin to scrape at the back of my heels. I am still in the process of breaking them in, and I am STILL having issues with the heels bothering me. They are the right size- so I guess it's my personal issue with the shoe since everyone else here seems to love them! For the money- I am not happy with this purchase. This breaking in process is taking a long time. I LOVE Zappos, but I won't be buying this brand again. They are too pricey for the quality- even if they fit, the quality is not what I would expect in a $40 shoe! I found a similar style from Easy Spirit that was cheaper, had a better insole, and was much more comfortable for me. Wish I could send this back.

Cute, but had to return - Sofritos are very cute shoes, but not roomy enough for me to wear with even thin socks and the heel fits very high and rubs! Will have to return these.

Great shoe, if not for one thing. This would be a great shoe...if I could wear them without getting terrible blisters on my heels. I was on my feet the whole time I first wore them and found them to be otherwise very comfortable. However, I don't think I'll be wearing them anytime soon if at all, the blisters were just too much!

Cute shoe - too bad no arch support - The Sofrito has no arch support. The insole is a 1/2" thick at the heel, which does provide a nice cushion, but without arch support it doesn't work for walking. If you remove the insole you can use an orthotic, but there's very little room left - I doubt you could put even a thin replacement insole on top. This shoe is also very wide in the heel and slips off constantly.

Loved color - Fit a little long and really loose in the heel so that my heel was slipping up and down. Loved the color and the ease of putting them off and on, but I think they make my foot look like clown’s feet.

Pretty good, not great - A little too big without socks (my preference) and the rubber insole feels a bit weird. Good looking shoe, but not sure if I love it.

Inconsistent but still cute - I originally saw these in a non-online shoe store and found the left foot was too big, while the right foot was just right. I ordered them online, hoping the pair that arrived in the mail would be different, and thinking that the pair I found in the shoe store had served as a floor model. When the shoes arrived, I thought they were perfect. Unfortunately, it was only after wearing them outside that I discovered the right foot was actually too tight (but the left foot was just right). Like a good Goldilocks, I then found a third pair of these shoes. However, when I wore those shoes around the house, I found the right foot on those shoes was again too tight, and the left foot wasn't that great either. The day came that I really just wanted to wear these shoes, despite the comfort factor, so I went with the lesser of the evils--the pair from Zappos, with the bad right foot. Appearance-wise, these shoes were exactly what I was looking for. I wish I could give a fabulous review of these shoes, but I can't due to the pain I experience after 30 minutes in my too tight right shoe. The moral of this story: take care in wearing these shoes in the house and really trying them out before you commit to them. Unless you're really looking for them to serve a specific purpose (like I was), it's probably best to find another shoe.
