Nice - I like this shoe. It doesn't have a very thick sole, so it doesn't absorb a lot of shock, but it has a nice look and comfortable fit.

Ok... big toe look though - A lot of extra toe room and it makes them look a little funny.

Comfy shoe and cute, too - These are very comfortable and I love the look with jeans. Very cute! I do have a narrow foot though and they are a tad loose, but not too sloppy or I would have sent them back. If I could change anything, it would be nice if the laces were adjustable for those of us with narrower feet. Still love them though.

Pretty good! I ordered the Privo Sofrito shoe a few weeks ago in gray and I am fairly pleased with them. They are a little long as other viewers have mentioned, but it is not an unreasonable length. My feet are somewhere between a wide and medium and I ordered the medium - they were a little tight for a few days, but have stretched out nicely. I also had a few minor blisters on the backs of my heels the first few days I wore them, but the back of the shoes have stretched out fine, too and I experience no discomfort now. They are easy to slip on and the color goes with many things I own. My only complaint concerns the cushioning. They are extremely squishy in the heel, but there isn't much padding on the ball of the foot. I also require high arch support and I found them lacking in this area. I tried taking out the insole that comes with them and inserting my own, but I found that all of the padding comes from the insole and taking out their insole and inserting your own makes your heel sink down too far. There also is simply not enough room to put an insole on top of theirs. However, I have ordered some insertable arch supports (just arch support - no insole) and I hope that will fix the problem. Otherwise, this is a great shoe - however, if you require lots of foot inserts and what not, I would order something with a bit more support and cushioning. As for the sizing - I usually wear 8.5s and that’s what I ordered here and they fit fine... but if you are on the borderline of two sizes, I would go for the smaller one.

Serves its purpose - This is a nice weekend shoe for outdoor work (yard, etc.). It's very comfortable, although a little loose in the toe area. I had to go up a half size to fit the length, so this is probably why the width is now a little loose on me. However, it's still comfortable. My only "complaint" would be that it's not the most attractive to look at from the top of the shoe (looks a little clown-like), but then it's not necessarily meant to look like a pointy-toed pump!

Nice shoe - Great shoe for me. I need a shoe with a little higher heel so I don't get a pain in my ankle. Gave my shoes as a gift to my sister!

Needs some break in time... I love Privos but they seem to take a long time to break in.They're always way too tight at the beginning. That said, I ordered the exact same shoe & size at the same time & it was way too big. My first pair is now very comfy & the bottom is almost worn flat from wearing them so much.

Very happy - I really enjoy these shoes... the only trouble that I had with them is at the heel. I wanted them to wear without socks, but the top part of the heel, hurts really badly when wore without socks. I would recommend them to anyone that is look for a very comfortable shoe. It is like walking on pillows all day long.

Great looking shoes - I recently traveled to Italy. The best advice is to break the shoes in before you go. I didn't do that and they didn't feel comfortable until about the 10th day that I was there. They are great now.

Shoe is very comfy and easy to wear. Versatile, goes with jeans or khakis. I love them.

Good fit. Good look. Having some issues with rubbing the backs of my heels which with some band aids and time, should go away.

Privo Sofrito - Expect this to be a good walking shoe for a trip to Europe. Did not buy it for style but comfort, knowing that Clarks makes a good quality comfortable shoe. I was hoping to wear it without socks but find that it rubs my heel and does not fit snugly to the top of my foot. It would help if the laces were adjustable.

Great shoe!! I had purchased an older style the previous season and about wore them out...so when I found this pair, I was overjoyed! I wear them with socks to prevent my feet (and the shoes) from stinking. I love the snug fit and how my feet feel secure in the shoe.

Here’s hoping! I LOVE this shoe! The only problem is that I wore it to walk on Boston city streets for many miles a day (7-10 miles). In less than two months, the rubber on the bottom had run down!! Customer service is AMAZING and they sent me a free pair OVERNIGHT in the mail when I called! The really nice man on the phone figured the shoes were defective. So, here's to hoping these last longer! So far I've had them for a few weeks and they're great! They're so comfortable--and they give me great support. Which I need since I'm seven months pregnant! Not to mention they're so cute and I can wear them with a skirt or pants!

Privo Sofrito - I have the beginnings of Plantar Fasciitis and was looking for a comfortable sneaker to take me through my Mexican vacation. The Sofritos are attractive and does make the feet look smaller. It's a little snug with the insoles and quite wide and roomy if you remove them. I could not stand the massaging insoles without socks and it did not provide arch support. I removed them and purchased two separate Dr. Scholl's inserts, one with arch support and another thin one for cushion heel comfort to wear together. You will need to add some type of insole if you don't want the back of the shoe to rub away your back heel and some height. Now, I have the nice shoe plus the extra comfort and I am a happy camper. Definitely a shoe with orthotics potential for those of us with bad feet.

Good Walking Shoe - I walked in this shoe in Seattle. It was very comfortable but does not provide as much support as a "walking shoe". It was easy to slip on and off at the airport. I recommend this shoe if you do not need a lot of support.

I bought my current pair from another website, and now am getting a second pair from Zappos. This is my "get up and go" pair of shoes that I wear to run errands or dash off to a casual dinner. I prefer tie-up shoes since my foot is a little narrow, but the Sofrito works well for me. I'm a size 9.5 to 10, but my Sofritos are a 9M. I would prefer more arch support and a little cushioning, but these are great summer shoes that I've gotten a lot of compliments on. The lack of support and keeps me from giving the shoe a 5.

Sadly had to return... I ordered the Aloe Nubuck style and they look great--very attractive shoe. However, there is absolutely no arch support (I have slightly flat feet) and they run very big. If you are going to order--order a half size down. Even the half size down was a little too big around the top of my foot since you can't tighten these in any way. They look great and Clarks are very well made but these just won't cut it for a long trip with a lot of walking. Buy them if you don't need them for complete comfort all day long. Also, it does not fit inserts (even the Superfeet thin ones) or the OTC Dr. Scholl’s. Too wide but too tight with orthotics.

Fun summer shoe - I love the look of this shoe. They are definitely sport shoes - and have a special lining to be worn without socks. But, they are fun - and very comfortable.

Great in Denmark! I took these new on a trip to Denmark and they were great in rain and shine. I have bunions and they accommodated my bad feet and still felt comfortable. They have a bit of cushion on the bottom, and I found that gave me energy to keep walking. You don't need socks to wear these-they're soft to your foot with no hard edges.

Love the look! But the fit isn't ideal... Like others have said, the heel slips. I usually wear between a size 10 and 11 depending on the brand and unfortunately, they do not come a half size in between. I don't know whether to keep the 11 or not, the heel definitely slips as others have mentioned and digs slightly into the back of my heel because the cut of it sits so high. I tried the size 10 but they are too small. If you think you wouldn't mind putting up with the heel, order them but get a half size smaller than your normal size. I think they are a great looking shoe and comfy on the bottoms, as Clarks usually are. I wish I could say they fit perfectly because I love the look of them so much.

The shoe looked roomy and comfortable, but for some reason it hurts at toe joints when I wear it for more than several hours. So I guess it needs wearing in - or just not right for my feet. Bit disappointed since it looked wonderful.

Looks great, but too high in back... I love, love, love the look of this shoe! In my opinion, this is the perfect look for a casual walking shoe. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me because the back of the shoe is too high. It cut into the area just above my Achilles tendon. I wish it were just a bit lower. I have a wide foot & first ordered a size 8.5, but it was way too tight all over. I returned it and then ordered a size 9 and it felt great everywhere except for the back. So sad that this shoe didn't work for me...I'm starting back at square one in search of the perfect shoe. Zappos has been GREAT! Delivered next day, and easy return!

Comfortable right out of the box. City walked 7 hours with no problems.
