Bought these for my college-aged son who wears flip-flops almost exclusively. I thought they were quite pricey for what they are, but he liked them -- and liked the arch-support: said it felt "like there was a bridge holding up his foot."

These are very comfortable and look great but are a bit expensive. I had a pair of Reefs prior to these and they were not as comfy. If these were slightly cheaper, then I would highly recommend and give them a 5 star rating.

Very comfortable, but needs breaking in - These are very comfortable out of the box, the leather footbed is great. After walking in them for a couple of hours, the top of my feet were getting a little sore spot from the leather lining of the strap. I suppose this will get better as they break in.

New Sandal wearer - Good looking and comfortable, I'm just not sure I could not have gotten the same good looks and comfort for much less. New to the sandal style, thong slip on, so not sure what to expect. If they hold up better than others then maybe they are worth the money but only time will tell.

Urban stylin - These sandals look great with anything you’re wearing. Just got back from Mexico and had them at the beach. Dinner time they go great with khakis and if you're just enjoying city life they look awesome with jeans. Took about a day to break the toe strap in.

How come the only choices for review in arch support are: none, moderate, or excellent?! Why does more arch mean it's better all the sudden when it could be too much? Anyway that's the case for me. And I even have high arches and long, narrow feet (size 13). Reading other reviews I guess I'm "that guy" since I'm almost a lone dissenter. Out of the box these sandals did not feel good. The quality seemed nice and they look nice, but they feel bad. Like I've got tennis balls under my feet. Perhaps they would break in after weeks, but at this price bucks for a pair of sandals...they ought to be the bestest ever. My Reefs feel great, and I've tried multiple styles of theirs...I'd just like them to last a little longer. A lot of these reviews seem to be from older people...maybe that's the disconnect.

I bought these for my husband. He wears size 13, but I ordered size 14 after reading the reviews about them running small. The 14 fits great. Some reviews mentioned that it takes a few days to break in these flip flops. My husband has been wearing them for a few hours for over a week now, and he still finds them very uncomfortable. He may return them even though they look great. It's disappointing since these are expensive.

I regret having to write a negative review of these sandals. I searched carefully and based my purchase on the reviews I read here. On the plus side, I too have plantar fasciitis and find the arch support in the sandals excellent. My discomfort in wearing these has nothing to do with lack of support, which I find an issue with many sandals that I try. I wore these for a weekend and developed a blister on my right foot from the leather rubbing my foot. I found that a great surprise given the seemingly good quality of this product. But I find myself highly disappointed paying this much money for a sandal that hurts my feet. These sandals look good and most people who try these and don't have issues with them will probably really like them. Sadly I think I will retire mine and go back to tennis shoes as these sandals rubbed me the wrong way.

Nice Sandal that needs "Breaking in" I made the mistake of wearing these out of the box for an active 4 hours. The underside of the strap just below my big toe on both sandals rubbed my skin raw. I had to break them in which I found very unusual for any sandal I have ever purchased.

I researched up a storm on flip flops for the seasons upcoming boat season. I wore these every morning before work and pretty much every weekend when it was nice (It's been nice a lot). For the cost of flip flops I'd expect to get at least 2-3 seasons out of them. They only lasted 11 months. :( I think economically these are not a viable options. I WISH THEY WERE BECAUSE I LOVED THEM DEARLY!

Clarks maybe? I am still researching but I recall from last year there being another brand that had rave reviews.

I am returning these. They do not fit well and are not as ordered. They in fact leave blisters from being too tight at strap. Not very good at all.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews, I thought that I would pay the high price for these flip flops. What a mistake! I'm not sure I can trust the good reviews on this site after wearing these uncomfortable slabs for the last week. Out of the box they felt fairly comfortable but very heavy. The leather straps were very rough on the edges and needed a few days to break in. The arch support was mediocre at best. I had been wearing them for just over a week before I couldn't take it anymore. Due to their excessive weight, the straps stretched out causing them to be very loose on my feet and difficult to walk in. I switched back to Reefs for half the price, half the weight and double the arch support. Even my old Sperry's were more comfortable than these.

Vicious toe thong ruins the rest - Was really pleased with the look and initial comfort of these. The arch support is superb. BUT after a just a short bit of wear, the rough fabric of the toe thong has rubbed the space between my toes raw and bloody. What a letdown! Unless you have calluses between your toes, be careful with these.

Disappointed - I am disappointed with the OluKai Kumu they are not comfortable, kind of slippery to the sole of my foot. I have owned different brands including Ecco, Sperry, Teva, Columbia and others. By far, the OluKai are the least comfortable but yet the most expensive. I have tried many, but I eventually will buy another pair of the Columbia Tangos, they are without a doubt the most comfortable.

The straps are really big. I'm surprised these have such good reviews. I have an average size foot, and they were un-wearable. I've never had this problem with any other flip flops. It's a shame because the footbed seemed really good.
