The OluKai Kumu are excellent flip flop if you need arch support. Very comfortable. I have only had them about a month now, but they have quickly molded to my feet. I have worn them every day now, and find them to be super comfy and durable.

These are the best sandals I've ever worn for the two issues my feet face. I am a woman who has feet like Daisy Duck - narrow at the heel but wide in the front, so the width of most women's sandals just doesn't work for me. Therefore I go for unisex-looking men's sandals two sizes smaller than my shoe size. Since the Kumu is styled the same in both men's and women's sizing, this fits the bill perfectly. Also, I have very high arches and have suffered through a bout of plantar fasciitis that I don't want to experience again. The arch support in these sandals is exceptional - from the moment I put them on, my feet felt as though they were walking on clouds. One of my favorite uses for them is to put them on after a day of rough hiking. Off come the hiking boots and on go the Olukais - aaaaaaahhhh! The leather construction is sturdy and attractive - they look good with a summer skirt, jeans, shorts. Since I live in the Southeastern US, I find I can wear my Olukais maybe 9 months out of the year. The construction of these sandals stands up to this heavy use. Love 'em.

I've had these Java Kumu for 3 years now and the pair is still going strong. The sandal is attractive, and has a comfortable foot bed. They are substantial and not super light. My toe print has shown up in the sole, but other than that, they look as good as new.

For me, I would get past the uncomfortable nature of sandals because it was a lesser evil as compared to closed shoes in our southern Louisiana heat. These sandals have been a great surprise. They are just as comfortable as any tennis shoe, give great support, and are stylish! I am considering a second Olukai pair (different style) just for fun. I wear a 10.5 but bought a 10.

Great flip flop for walking around all day. It may take a day, or so, to break in the straps to your foot but once that happens, they're so comfortable!

This is a great flip flop. The arch support is amazing and unlike any flip flop I've ever owned. Great materials and classic look. You do have to break it in and then it's more comfortable a bit stiff in the beginning.

A friend that had a pair let me try them on. I had new balance minimus flops, thought they were the best ever. Olukia flops are the best ever. I where them every day even in the rain, can't seem to take them off. Nor do I want to.

Bought these as an anniversary gift for my husband. He is so hard to please, and my clothing/shoes gifts usually get returned. These he loved! They look deceptively simple but are actually quite well designed and finished. He has a higher arch, and these sandals provide support without looking feminine. Zappos' service, as always, was prompt and efficient!

Loose construction and not a tight fit. Caused a chaffing.

This is the second pair of these that i've owned. Very comfortable. I wear them everywhere. Even toured the Vatican wearing them!

Fit comfortably almost immediately - very little "breaking in" time. I've worn Havaianas for a long time and just switched to OluKai. The traction has been very good in the wet/rain.

Awesome, durable sandals. Wore these on the honeymoon in Maui, where I broke them in. Super comfortable, mild irritation with my foot type after a long hike but that's normal with good leather. Love them, seem like they will last forever!

I love these sandals which replaced the identical sandals that I bought in Hawaii for more money. Delivery was prompt. While in NYC I noticed Zappos boxes wherever I went. I also convinced my wife to shop at Zappos.com.

Really like these sandals. They are my second pair of Olukais and the first ones lasted me 4 years. Great comfort and very durable. Highly recommend the Olukai brand.

My husband loves these flip flops. They are dressier than his other pair. He likes the leather bottom as he doesn't feel it makes his feet sweat as much as other flip flops. Arch support is nice. A little tight at first. But they stretch a little for a comfortable fit.

I wanted to wear these for a month or so before commenting. First thing I noticed was how well built they are. However when wearing then the first day the upper strap hurt my feet. I was considering taking them back but heard others have this same problem with other similar sandal and said to give it a week of wear to break them in and mold to your feet so I reluctantly said ok due to the high price of these sandals. Boy am I glad I kept them. Ive had them for over a month now and love them. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. If you do decide to get these sandals don't give up on them if they are not comfortable at first. Once the strap stretches out and they mold to your feet you too will be writing a positive review. Also want to mention I wear a size 10.5 but through other suggestions I got a half size up and that was a good decision. They fit my foot perfect.

Very comfortable and stylish for summer. Great arch support and true to size for me. Wear 12.5-13, bought 13 perfect. Started wearing Orthaheels. These offer comparable support and are dressier.

Great flip-flops! The OluKai Kumu's feel very comfortable to wear, even for a full day. Provides surprisingly good arch support. I would definitely buy these again.

Most comfortable flip-flips I have ever owned. Yes, contrary to popular believe, these take a little bit of time to break in, however, the first few steps already feel great. Very true to size, would surely buy again. Excellent support for a flip flop!

Amazing! These are the perfect marriage of good looks and ultra support & comfort. I couldn't be happier. The arch support and overall structure are perfect for people who have back issues and can't walk on foam flip flops all day. Worth the money!

I've had these Kumu for two years now and am very happy with them. They are pretty comfortable and look good. I really like the Java/Tan color combination, which matches with almost anything. They've held up well and I anticipate having them for a couple of more years.
