Ain't no other flops - My second pair of OluKai's, and man, these are the best! I love em so much I HATE it when I have to wear shoes. Wish I could wear these flops everywhere... come to think of it, I almost do. I've tried lots of other flops...and nothing is as good as OluKai's. All you need to know about flip-flops is OluKai and Zappos!

Love these sandals - These sandals are well constructed, good looking and are the only sandals that I have found besides Birkenstocks (which are a little short in the good looking dept) that provide any support for my feet. My feet are very happy. I'll be a customer for life! Thank you!

Slap Happy - I usually don't wear any sort of sandal in the summer on account of the fire ants. But all that has changed since gettin me a pair of these here OluKai dandies. Not only are these the most comfortable pair of flip flops I've ever worn (True!), they're certified by me as Fire Ant Destroyers. Now, instead of worrying about gettin all bit up by the little buggers, I actually stand next to ant hills and dare them to come get me. They won't do it...they're scared. I can see their little antennae twitch before going limp with fear. Because of that, I now call 'em: "Makau- as in POW!" Not only that, they're great crime fightin kicks. I ran down a punk on the street the other day who had stolen a bottle of ketchup off a hot dog cart. True! With my Makau’s, it was easy---faster than Marion on the juice! Mr. OluKai, is there anything your sandals can't do?

Finally, the PERFECT flop! I've tried a bunch of flops, and these are the absolute best. More comfortable than going barefoot. Perfect fit! Feel like they were custom made for my feet. This is my first pair of OluKai's but it definitely won't be the last. Talk about happy feet! As always, Zappos is awesome!

High Octane Flip-Flops - I've been more of a strap-on sandal kid for the last few years. Flip-flops, I'm back. I didn't know you could get great arch support or cushioning in this style of ride, but these offer both, as well as outstanding traction--or do I mean gription? What I'm saying is no slipping on water, sand or uneven surfaces. They look cool and the quality is high. I expect they'll hold up for quite a while. Mostly, I'm glad I didn't listen to my banged-up friend who said they'd slice me up between my toes and cut my foot in half. When he suggested the best thing to do with flip-flops is cut out the midsole and aircraft-glue them into marathon racing flats, I shut my ears and made the buy. Now I'm asking why I EVER listen to that kid? Great sandals.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT- Don't change anything. Bought 2 pairs and I love them both. The Birkenstocks are out! These actually restore your faith that someone out there is producing something of quality. Thanks Again OluKai!

Wonderful Shoes - My son loved these sandals. They are comfortable, good looking and durable. He has a large, wide foot and these sandals fit him perfectly. He wears them daily and now will be purchasing another pair in a different color.

Great flip-flop! I'm not a surfer, but I wear sandals and flip-flops all the time: after work, in the morning, on the weekends. I recently acquired a pair of the Makau’s, and they're easily the best flip-flops/sandals I've ever owned. They stay on my feet so well I could probably run in them. They were instantly comfortable and only became more so in the days after I first put them on. I will definitely buy another pair of OluKais.

Happy feet - Get more comments when I wear these sandals - maybe because they’re on my feet so much. Great design, barefoot comfort, and top shelf quality. Looking at the rest of the line I may need to give these a rest and get a rotation going.

OluKai Sandals - These are the best pair of sandals I've ever owned. Besides how great they look, they are the most comfortable I've worn by far.

Really, really nice sandal... I live in Northern CA and wear sandals daily during the summer months. From hiking out to surf breaks in N. Santa Cruz County to going out for dinner in North Beach in SF, these sandals are versatile, stylish, and are very, very comfortable. The guys down at the local surf shop recommended them and they are great!!

Cross-over artists, fit and fashion - Ok, with 2 months of dry summer Portland may seem an unlikely environment for year-round sandal wear. However after Santa brought me my first pair of OluKai’s last Christmas, I have barely taken them off! I pretend to be an athlete, so my feet get babied and shoes take beatings. This means that my OluKai's traipse from the lodge to the rig after snowboarding, replace my skates after hockey, and embrace exhausted soles at the end of a trail run. If I plan ahead, a rinse in the river and they are ready to chill at cocktail hour. I'm picky about function and appearance - when it comes to fit and fashion there is no flop in these flips!

The best... Sandals I've ever owned... period. Fit perfect and look great. Have had tons of compliments on the styling. Another purchase on the horizon...

Insane new slaps!! Not only are these the most comfortable slaps I've ever worn, nothing out there looks as cool as these things do. The footbed is shaped perfectly for the foot. I got the Makau in Black and the Ehukai for the water, also my girlfriend a pair of the Makau's and she loves them.

Sweet Slaps - I bought a pair of these at a surf shop in Hermosa Beach, they fit awesome, and are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever had on my feet. It’s all about the arch support. I didn't know they had so many styles and colors.

This is my first pair of leather sandals. Before this, I wore Reefs with cloth straps. Those were incredibly comfortable, but after about a year the arch support wore out. Also, they had so little traction that they were actually dangerous to wear in the rain. I would always slip on painted lines in parking lots and streets. From all the great reviews here, I had high hopes for the OluKai Makau. Opening the box, it was obvious these are high quality sandals. The leather is very nice looking, and there is even a small bag inside to store them in. However, they are not as comfortable as I expected. The left sandal digs in to my foot when I walk, causing a sharp pain where the 3 parts of the strap meet. The leather at this joint is very thick and stiff. None of my previous sandals had this problem. The post is also very thick, which rubs against my toes a bit. This is all great for durability, but not so good for comfort. I am hoping that over time the leather will soften up and my feet will adjust. After a couple weeks, the pain has lessened considerably, but it is still there. I did notice some other leather sandals use a cloth post which makes that joint a lot softer. On the plus side, the arch support on these is great. Another reviewer complained about there being extra room at the front and less at the back. I actually like this since it keeps me from stubbing my toes so easily. With a lot of other sandals, my toes hang off the front. These sandals also have really great traction. I no longer have to carefully step around painted surfaces in the rain.

Comfortable sandals, but needed some break-in time - I received these sandals and immediately began wearing them all the time. The footbed is extremely comfortable and the sandals look very well constructed. They did, however, require some break in time. The leather strap on the right sandal was digging in and eventually I got a blister. After a couple days of bandage/healing, I started wearing them as my everyday sandal again. The problem has gone away. With that said, I think the strap just needed to stretch a bit for my feet. They are extremely comfortable and well made. I got the green sandals. As another reviewer mentioned, the leather footbed did discolor and become dark in a matter of days. I don't mind though, they still look good. I like these sandals, they are a big upgrade from the Teva and Reef flip-flops I had been wearing.

Nice, but discolors. I like these sandals, very comfortable. One issue I have is that the green of the sandal discolors in a matter of days to a very dark green, almost black. I would have hoped the green color would be a little tougher than that.

Great sandal - Fits great, looks great, even has some arch support. I found the size ran pretty true. Get a pair.

Very nice - My first pair and I'm very happy with them. Comfortable enough to wear while walking longer distances.

Should have listened to the reviews. These do indeed run surprisingly small, even for someone with a narrow foot. Also thought straps were a bit dainty.

Very disappointed!!! This sandal broke after my son wore it for less than two weeks. As hard as it is to find shoes in a size 15, I am extremely disappointed that I wasted money on these.
