I purchased these shoes because I was looking for shoes that weren't slippery on wet surfaces. I am a senior citizen and have hurt myself with a couple of falls and now I am paranoid about falling again. These shoes are very comfortable and I feel very secure knowing these will grip the pavement. I only wear them on rainy days or if I'm going somewhere that I know will be wet. Shoes like these are hard to find, but I knew I'd be able to find them at Zappos. My most favorite pair of shoes for everyday use are the Brooks Addiction Walkers - I can't live without them as I have problem feet.

Great Shoes - It was the first time I ever bought shoes on line. The shoes are very are true to size, good support. I always buy good shoes and pay a lot for them. This time I bought a good pair of shoes and spent less than half of what I would have spent. The delivery was so quick I ordered the shoes on Thursday around 3:30 and they were at my door Friday at 2:00. I would buy shoes from them again.

Super Shoe!! Very comfortable work shoe. There was no need to slowly break them in like some shoes. I found these to be the perfect work shoe and wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

I am satisfied with the shoe and would suggest them to anyone who had to be on their feet for any length of time; they are comfortable and supportive.

Comfortable slip-proof shoe - I didn't buy these shoes for looks. I was desperate to find something in a slip-proof shoe required for work that was comfortable and these are. I would say they run a half size smaller than others--I had to return the first pair but had the correct size the next day.

Soul Feet - Very comfortable no adjustment period felt a little slippery at first, but not now. I will buy another pair of this shoe and try some other style also. Zappos has very excellent delivery time.

New Balance WW631 - I have found that this is a shoe that really does provide better balance than any other shoe I have ever worn for general walking. It is wonderful for use both indoors and outdoors and for spending many hours on one's feet. I have bought both the white and the black colors, which are both attractive, and they are great for the change of seasons. In general, I "live" in this shoe as it not only has great balance, but also good durability - and at the same time is moderately priced.

Excellent ~! Take it from someone who has heel spurs, this shoe is remarkable. They are the first thing I put on in the morning and last thing I take off. They offer superior support and cushioning. The sides of the sneakers are cut so that your ankle is actually snuggled in place. Great support and unbeatable comfort. As for Zappos, they rock! I had my sneakers within a day. Actually, I got these sneakers as an exchange from another pair I bought and didn't like; Zappos sent these out before even receiving the first pair back!!!! I am a lifer w/Zappos.

Postal Worker - Great for standing on your feet over 8 hours a day!

Pleasantly Surprised - Finally an enclosed shoe that doesn't irritate me. I have had Achilles fasciitis for several years and have not found an enclosed shoe until now that didn't keep my foot irritated without the insert. These were great straight out of the box. Four women at work wanted to know where they could get them too.

So comfortable! These shoes are maybe the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. I am on my feet all day for work (and I use orthotics) and in these shoes, I'm completely comfortable the entire time. After a full day of work, I hardly feel like I've been standing for hours. The only downside is that they are really terribly ugly.

I chose this shoe in white. I have wide feet and it fit fine. They are easy to clean and are comfortable. I also looked at them in a family owned shoe store and the price was the same.

Best shoe ever for waiting tables - If you don't need an oil/slip resistant shoe for restaurant use, you can get a better looking shoe. It has that uniform/industrial shoe look, but I've seen much worse. These have the same type of sole as "shoes for crews" with the benefit of being an actual well-made athletic shoe. (SFC's are the WORST.) Good cushioning & arch support. I haven't had any problems slipping, even in the dish pit. My feet don't hurt at the end of my shift or the next AM...

Great work shoe - I work on my feet all day on a very slippery floor, these shoes are great.

New shoes - I was in need of new shoes for work. My job is in a hospital, which requires much walking and is fast paced. I am so pleased with my purchase. The shoes look and feel wonderful. I decided to purchase from your company on the recommendation from my son who also made a purchase before I did. I\\\'ve had these shoes for a year and they\\\'re great. They\\\'re very comfortable and always keep out the snow and rain.

These had great slip resistance for the first 6 months of wear. I\'ve been wearing these for one year at a full-time serving job and they are slippery now. They are pretty comfy. I would definitely buy them again.

Great shoe! I love New Balance since I have plantar fasciitis. The only bad thing is these shoes are far from attractive. They don't even look athletic, they look like a shoe an 80 year old man would wear. Slip resistant and they hold up all day (I work 8-10 hours on my feet)!

This is a hard shoe. I use orthotics and they fit well. The shoe is not warm. In cold weather my feet freeze. They are not stylish at all.

I am satisfied with this shoe. It works pretty well for my problem feet. The toe box is roomy, but seems a little tight across top of toes. This NB is correct size, so it's not necessary to order larger as in many NB shoes. It is lightweight and supportive. Zappos is a godsend for people who need to get just the right shoe for comfort!

These get the job done - These shoes are worth what I paid and they work well for what I need them for. I don't LOVE them, but then, they're work shoes. I do have to wear an arch support insole in them to stay comfortable throughout a shift. I sent back two pairs to another retailer before settling with Zappos. I am very happy with the service and prompt shipping. I might not buy these shoes again, but I will definitely buy from Zappos again.

Great shoe for work. I needed a shoe that would be comfortable for long hours on my feet. It is definitely not the most attractive shoe, but if comfort is what you are looking for, this shoe is great. It also has a non-slip sole, which I needed as well. Too bad they are not attractive, otherwise I would wear them every where.

New Balance shoe - I always select New Balance since I’ve never been disappointed. This style, however, was one I'd never tried. I could have used a better arch support as this shoe has very little. I remedied this with a purchased insole. I would select another NB style next time.
