Nice Shoe-But Runs Narrow - My mother bought these shoes, in a wide. Comfort wise they were great, but they were a little narrow in the toe box.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped - The Avia is a well-made shoe that runs true-to-size. The arch rocker support was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It is quite stiff and runs from the arch of the foot outward to the lateral side of the foot which is where the discomfort is if I have been on my feet all day. For just a typical days wear, it is not problematic, just feels a little odd.

Funny fit - Returned these shoes. They were comfortable enough, but for some reason it didn't feel like my foot was deep enough in the shoe. The tan is a great color, though--just right to go with jeans.

Small toe box - Disappointed - I read other reviews that mentioned this shoe broke in fine. I wore them around the house and they were stiff - finally decided they needed a good long walk to break in - still tight on toe box. Now the bottoms are marred, so am wetting uppers and wearing - they are slowly stretching on top, but my last Avias sure fit better right out of the box! Good arch support though - the "wide" just wasn't that wide. FANTASTIC delivery - got them the NEXT day! Love Zappos and still liked my last pair of (discontinued) Avias that I'll keep wetting and stretching this pair!

I like Avia because of the great support; however, the right shoe in this pair is so uncomfortable on my right small toe that I cannot wear them unless I first put on a bandaid.

Walking shoes - I like the look of them and the all over comfort. They were a little more narrow than I expected. I do have narrow feet, but the right foot evidently is a little wider because the right shoe is slightly tighter, but a nice pair of shoes for the price. The service was outstanding and I will more than likely order again.

Nice Looking but ... If you have high arches like I do, you might need to supplement with an insert. They seem slightly on the narrow side, but not so bad that it is uncomfortable so I did not mark them as "narrower than marked". I will say, though, that they are some of the nicest looking walking shoes out there. I did a lot of searching for black ones and read reviews so they disappointed me that they were not as comfortable for me as I had hoped. I had a pair of running Avia shoes a few years back that were awesome and I wore them forever. Maybe I should try the running shoes for walking...

Happy courier feet - I’m on my feet 12 to 13 hours a day and I have trouble finding shoes to fit my narrow size. Because of the arch support I’m finding these Avias very comfortable.

Good Walking Shoe - I purchased the Avia shoe as I have plantar fasciitis and needed a new pair of supportive sneakers. So far they are wonderful and they do allow a bit of extra room when I want to put a wrap on my foot to ease the pain. They are the most stylish sneaker I have ever worn, but they do the job nicely. I am an 8 and it had a wee bit of room in the toe box for extra comfort.

Very comfy but squeaky - These shoes have a removable insole so my orthotics fit right in. That was a happy surprise. They do make a squeaky sound when I walk around but I can live with it. I really like these shoes a lot.

Avia A330W - I placed my order in the late afternoon and received it next day with free shipping. Amazing delivery time. Shoes are comfortable enough, but would have liked the gel heel system - a pair of Avias purchased a year or so ago had this feature.

Great for work. I've worked in a factory for the last 15 years. I have to have shoe's that are going to support legs, back, and of course my feet... These are really great to wear right out of the box. My Feet feel GREAT!!!!

Great fitting good arch support - Except for one pair of boots, I have always had good experience with Zappos fit. They have very easy return policy. I buy all of my Clarks shoes online. I love Avia, they have a great arch support and I need that since I had bone spurs on both heels...

Sore toes - This is the first pair of Avia's that hurt my feet. They rub my little toes. I wore them out since I had never had a pair of Avia's hurt or need "broken in" before, so now I can't return them. I have had the same Avia in the past but it was very comfortable.

Uncomfortable - The shoes are tight and not comfortable for walking. They hurt my toes and caused pain with each step.

Poor quality - Strange as it sounds, the right shoe had almost too much arch support and left had none...very poorly made...very unusual too, I usually have excellent luck with Avia...back it goes. I do love Zappos. You can't beat the overnight free shipping. And free returns!

Looked nice but they were too tight! The shoe looks good but I found them to be too small. They appeared to be smaller than the true size. Plus they are all leather and I feel I need something with something else so my foot can breathe. Zappos is wonderful. They are sending me another shoe before I send this one back. Now that is great service! I ordered these shoes last night and they were on my doorstep this morning! Can't beat that with a stick!

Comfy everyday shoe, but not for the fashion-conscious - I liked this shoe. It was comfortable and good for walking. I had to return the shoe after only 6 weeks due to a weak seem that ripped. The return was easy and I ended up ordering a different pair of shoes from Zappos right away.

Avia - comfort over style - Comfortable shoe for walking in the city or walking for exercise. The top toe area of the shoe is leather with little ventilation. Kind of makes my feet hotter than I like sometimes. Overall I like the shoe.

Not as good as before. I have ordered Avia before and I thought they were great. This time the quality was not there. Not very much support.

Most uncomfortable - Avia is my favorite brand of sneaker, and I was very disappointed in how uncomfortable these were. The heel dug sharply into the back of my ankle, like a razor blade. The entire shoe felt a full size too small, though I ordered a half size up as I do with all of my sneakers. With a sock on, I was barely able to get into these. Back they go.

Wonderful - I have worn these in the past and tried other shoes but they don't feel as good as these. I won't make that mistake again. Avia is the shoe for me.
