Not impressed. Last year I purchased a pair of Uggs for my oldest toddler son. They were cute, durable, kept his feet warm without socks and it was the only shoe/boot I needed to buy for him. But they were expensive. This year I decided to try the Emu boots. They looked a lot like Uggs and the price was much more affordable. Well, I got what I paid for. Some of the differences I noticed: the texture of the skin is much tougher (which is not a big deal), the inside wool is wiry, kind of long and hairy looking (but my son doesn't seem to mind). What does bother me is the complete lack of support in the heel. Both heels of my son's Emus are squashed. The Ugg heels have support. These have none. So he flops around in these boots and they are constantly slipping off of his feet. I had originally purchased a size 12 for him, but his toe was at the very end. The 13 gave him about and inch more space, but they are so sloppy looking and I'm constantly looking for another pair of shoes or boots to put on him. Next year, I'm buying Uggs.

Although I was initially pleased with how these fit my daughter, after wearing them only a couple of times, the boot separated from the sole. However, Zappos, being #1 with customer satisfaction in my books, gave me credit on my word. I am disappointed in the boot, but will continue shopping Zappos. It is a nice feeling to know they value our business and stand by the products they sell.

One day after my daughter received these boots, the stitching on the toe came undone. Zappos was great about replacing them. Unfortunately, the second pair was not better: the stitching has come undone again, only worse. After two pairs, I'm afraid to replace them with the same pair.

No ankle support at all. Started to ruin my daughter's feet. Can't believe what a waste of money. Emu is charging a lot of money for something that just isn't worth it. They might want to learn from Ugg on how to make a boot for a child. Love Zappos though, great shipping and returns. The best!
