Great shoe, great bargain - If you are considering the purchase of a similar boot that costs twice as much and it's for a 4-year old, it's a no-brainer. Go with this boot. For half the price and the same quality, this is a steal. Children grow too fast to spend a lot of money on shoes. My niece is very happy and doesn't know the difference -- but my pocket does. As usual, Zappos ordering, service, and shipping are excellent.

Lovin' them! My daughter wears orthotic braces. Before getting them she lived in her Uggs. I didn't want to spend all that money on Uggs again so I wanted to find something that looked very similar to them. I also needed an extra wide boot. Her orthotist recommended Zappos saying that they have a large selection of extra wide shoes. When I found these boots I took a chance & ordered them hoping my almost 4 year old would like them like as much as she loved her Uggs. Amazingly they showed up in 2 days & they were beautiful. My daughter loves them. I have to fight her to get them off at night! Thank you Zappos!!!

Why buy UGGS?!! These are GREAT!! My daughter is a size 131/2... I ordered a size 1. They are big, but I will get 2 seasons out of them... she is 7years old & she LOVES them!!!! ...they are Excellent quality ... I just wish they made the lining the same color as the boot ... my daughter’s boots are black & the lining is white...it would be better if it was all black.

Just what I was looking for! I needed black boots for my son but didn't want to spend a fortune since he's growing so fast. These were just what I needed and at the perfect price!

My girls love them! I got these for both my daughters (ages 8 and 6) and they have worn them every day since we got them! They don't work for P.E. days at school, so we just send tennis shoes with them on those days. My 6-year-old said that her feet sweat in them sometimes, but she honestly still wears them every day. They mostly wear jeans, but they wear the boots with dresses and skirts, too. I'm just glad their feet and ankles are warm...

T's Mommy - The shoe runs at least one size larger which is alright because your child will grow into them. They are very comfortable and easy for a child to slip their feet into. I had bought a size ten and my daughter's feet is a size 91/2 and the shoe has enough room for another size. When I got her first pair of EMU through mail order which was in the color pink I brought them home and I made my daughter try them on to see if she would like them or not. There were no complaints at all so that is when I got her the other colors in chocolate, black, and chestnut. I love the EMUs on her and my daughter love's them as well. Can't go wrong with the price. Material is easy to clean, and the comfort of the shoe.

Buy EMU, shop Zappos! These boots are perfect...warm, comfy and stylish. (It is not easy for a 32 year old who wears a size 3-youth to find a great shoe) I raved about them so much that my boyfriend bought me a brown pair the following week. I was amazed to find my order at my door two days later! I will recommend EMU and Zappos to everyone!

Good boot - Bought these for my 10 year old instead of Uggs due to the price. They are very nice looking and comfortable (I can even squeeze my foot into them)-she wears them often. Shipping was very prompt as usual-I had them within a couple of days.

Kids Emu boots - These are GREAT boots for kids. I bought my youngest daughter a pair of these last year and they are still in great shape for her to wear again this year. My older daughter owns a pair of UGGS (which don't fit her this year) so I bought her a pair of EMU's because there is really no difference in the product...except the price!! Too bad they don't sell adult sizes!

Ugg's twin boots - These are cute like UGGS but they run bigger. If you wear size 3 in UGGS get the EMU in size 2!

They did it again - They look great, fit great and he loves them. He gets so many compliments on them.

Great boot for the money - My daughter loves the Ugg boots, but I just can't see spending $100 plus for a pair of shoes for her while she's still growing. Although they're still kind of pricey for kids, they're a great alternative to the Uggs. She just loves them and they'll be great on our ski trip! We couldn't be happier with them!

Comfy Boot! I bought these for my stepdaughter who wanted boots like her college-aged soccer coach. The coach has Uggs, but they were a little out of our budget. These Emus are great and my stepdaughter is thrilled. Thanks Zappos!

super comfy. I have really small feet for adults so it is great that I found these for kids. Fit my feet great, they are great in the rain/snow and are really comfy and true to fit. Nice and warm and snug.

Great buy! I bought these for my daughter for a trip we took up north. They fit her perfectly and look SO cute! They are just as great as UGGS for a much better price!

Great boots - Great boots for toddlers with WIDE feet. Easy to slip on and off saving LOTS of time!!! The only issue he had with them is that they have a lot of fur on the inside and it took a few wears before he stopped complaining about it. Now he loves them!!!

I couldn\'t figure out why this style was almost half the price of the style my daughter has until they arrived and I felt the wool on the inside. It\'s quite rough and scratchy compared to the buttery soft feel of my daughter\'s Emu boots. Not a big deal if you\'re wearing socks, but I think I\'m going to send these back to exchange since the whole point of splurging on this type of boot seems like it\'s the super cozy soft interior.

My nine-year old third grader fashionista adores these. She said they are comfortable and warm. The only downside is that little clumps of the wool lining sticks to her feet and comes off if she wears them without socks.

Pros: comfortable, cute and warm, good price for the quality. Cons: not made for wet, slushy weather, just for fluffy "drier" snow, which poses a problem because when you put "snow boots" on a toddler, they want to step in everything messy that they can! So they get really dirty very quickly. Also, run a whole size too big, we kept them anyway because my daughter will grow into them.

I purchased these for my 6 year old daughter. We have had UGG boots before and I find these to be of comparable quality and value. However, unlike UGG boots and some other reviews, I don't believe these run a whole size big. I think they are true to size. I plan to continue to buy this brand for winter boots. I hope they throw in some colorful ones next year.

I bought these for my 3-year old son and he wears them daily. After a month they are thrashed and look about 10 years old, but we knew that they wouldn't hold up as well as other shoes. The inside is not Sherpa like Uggs, but they do seem warm.

My 6.5 year old daughter loves these boots. They are warm, comfortable and easy to put on. We both like how they look, very comparable to Ugg boots. However, I was a little bit disappointed to see the stitched seam detail tear on the front after she wore the boots for only two weeks, that is why I give it 3 stars. As always Zappos provided a great service.

After my daughter wore these only twice, the seem in the back started to come apart. I was able to hand stitch it back together but am really disappointed in that since they were only days old and a bit pricey. In addition, now that she has worn them for a month or so the inside wool is clumping up and coming out. Overall, I find them quite disappointing and would not purchase again.
