Absolutely Perfect Boot - I put my feet in this boot and it looks so sleek and most of all comfortable. The boot hugs the ankle which works well for me and keeps my foot just in the right place. I am thrilled with these boots and would recommend them to everyone. Of course, Zappos is the best place to buy all our shoes, boots and sandals...The fastest shipping ever!

Best boots I've ever worn - They're stylish (look chic with short skirts) and comfortable enough to walk miles in...and they fit my thin calves and size 11 feet perfectly! They even make my feet look small. AND they're waterproof. I've looked years for the perfect pair of tall black boots, and my patience has finally been rewarded. I normally balk at spending so much on a pair of shoes, but these are well worth the money. I have another pair of La Canadienne boots as well, and I'm pretty sure I'll never buy another brand of boots.

La Canadienne Gaetana - The boots are very sleek to look at, they are sleek looking on the foot and leg, the wedge gives one more stability in walking, it is comfortable on the bottom of the foot; it fits a wider calf without looking like you have a wide calf and are wearing some fuffy-duddy boot. Also I trust a boot coming from Canada because I think who would know more about boots?

Comfy/sexy - A little tight getting on, but the light, flexible, cushioned sole is a gift in a good looking boot.

My new favorite boots - These boots are my multipurpose winter to summer shoe. I live in a crappy climate where wet feet, mud, and ice rule the pavement. I have yet to get soggy socks or slip and fall on the tailbone in these after a year of wear, and I should add that I am pretty clumsy. Also, I have short and wide feet; these boots fit close to perfect in a 7.5 (Steve madden shoes, for example, are far too narrow for me no matter the size). An excellent investment that will outlast the cheapie shoes we all feel compelled to buy.

Walked all weekend in NY on the first wear - These boots are very stylish. If you have a small calf/ankle and need a boot that fits snugger then you will find this to be an excellent option. Easy to clean. Very comfortable more so than my tennis shoes. Looks great with pants and skirts. Easy to pack in a suitcase too!

The Most Perfect Winter Boot Ever - I am so in love with this boot. I am from Northern Canada and now live in New York and this boot combines the best of both those worlds--it's warm, tough, durable, practical and very chic. I am a total fashion snob and always dress "up" so I needed a boot that would look cute with DVF dresses and pencil skirts. However, I also needed a boot to walk block and blocks in slushy snow. This is the boot. It is SO comfortable that you can strut it in all day and your feet won't hurt or blister. I took three flights, roamed two airports for hours and then walked around Manhattan all day and nary a blister. It's a brilliant boot. It's warm too--I suggest wearing it with tights on those super cold windy days. But for every day winter weather, it's just fine. And completely waterproof. I never thought I'd find a boot that was both fashionable and functional. Now if only La Candienne made men!

Simple, classic boot - This is a slim, comfortable platform/ wedge boot. Made in Canada, it has the bonus being made with waterproof microfiber. It has a fuzzy inner lining around the foot for more warmth, so it is definitely not a summer boot. No zipper, so your calves can’t be too big or it won't pull on. I think it is a very well made boot, worth the investment. Looks great with a skirt, too.

BEST BOOTS EVER - I absolutely love these boots. They are adorable, and they are soo comfortable. I have not had any problems at all with the quality. They seem perfect, and the stretchy shaft fits my calves, which are a 15 1/2. These boots also have a really adorable seam down the middle of the boot and the top of the foot. Very cute.

Ultra-hip and functional - The fit of the shaft is snug, but the heels are a little too high for me. I'm still unsure if I should keep this shoe because of this, although they're really adorable, look great, and as usual, they're waterproof. They're expensive, but compared to other expensive shoes, I think they're worth the price. I just might start getting used to a little height, and the wedge does help. And Zappos is such a dream come true!

I have good and not so good. The good, very comfortable and nice if raining. The not so good: falls down when walking, the shaft is kinda short, needs to be another inch- inch and half taller, that would look better. I will keep and wear on rainy days, but would be so much better looking if it hit higher on the leg.

I loved these boots. My ankle is too thin for them so they didn't look right on me, but they're really beautiful Boots nonetheless.

These are lovely and functional boots. The fabric calf is very slimming and I love that they are waterproof. However, they're very snug, from the toe to the knee. I have regular width feet and slim calves, and these really hug, a bit too much, which makes them difficult to put on. I tried wearing them around the house a few times but I found myself not wanting to put them on because it was such a chore. Ultimately I had to return them because they are just such a pain to get on and off.

I am heart-broken that these do not come in a wide. Sometimes I can wear regular width, but these were narrow in a really weird way - I could feel my feet drooping over the sides, maybe because the fabric is so flexible. They were so pretty and sexy, and comfortable if the width were right for you. Please, La Canadienne, make these in wide!

Sigh, I really liked these boots. I love the taller shaft height, the more narrow circumference and the wedge heel. I made a mistake when I ordered as I thought these were suede. They are a man made material that at first glance had me just close the top of the box. I finally tried them on and loved the look. I wouldn't go so far as to say dressy, but casual, work, etc... The calf is narrow and the skinny jeans I had on would not cooperate and stay down so I could see the bulky outline of them through the boot. Had my husband's response to the price not been crickets I would have tried them with other jeans and leggings to see if they worked. Both my daughter and I liked them but the foot and heel did seem a little bulky in comparison to the thin shaft. I liked the look, though. I would have preferred suede but none of the other wedge boots that were suede had same shaft height or circumference. At the end of the day, price is the reason they aren't in my closet.

I have a difficult time finding any kind of shoes that I can wear because I have bunions. These are the first pair of boots I have found that are fairly comfortable. I wear them for work. I am a flight attendant so I am on my feet 90-95% of the time I am at work. I also bought the La Canadienne Gina slip on for work. Again, it's plain looking but fairly comfortable.

I really wanted to like these. They are really cute and super comfortable. And now that they are on sale I am debating whether I can part with them. But they bunch at the ankle. I've read that this occurs to both big calf folks and little calf folks, and those with small ankles. If you have bigger ankles you might have less bunching but they might be hard to get on and off. Afraid these will have to go back.

Love the boot! I have larger calves and they are a bit of a struggle to get on, but once on they are very comfortable. Nice heel height without being wobbly.

It's a nice waterproof boot that is lightweight and comfortable. This shoe works best with dresses or tights. You can not fit any pants/skinny jeans or other thick material in them without it looking really bunched up and unattractive. My only issue is stability. It's not as good as an actual rain boot on very slippery/icy surfaces. Your foot will slide.

I spent more than a year researching boots, with comfort being my primary goal; style being my secondary motivation. These boots deliver both, but I'll admit my husbands first response was that they look cheaply constructed. I agree that these boots are somewhat pricey for an all 'man-made material' boot, but they are comfortable and provide a really flattering look. They look great with skirts and leggings. They fit like a glove over the ankle and calf, so I don't think tucking even a skinny jean would work though. Jeggings would look cool though.

I purchased these boots based on the reviews, looks and price. I have wide feet with bunions (yick) and recently plantar fasciitis. I wanted a non-leather boot that would look good with skirts/dresses and could wear walking in NYC. I am very happy with the look and the microfiber. I really enjoy how it fits my calves (which are not large, not thin). The slight bunching at the ankle does not diminish their appeal. The wedge heel appeals to me and looks fine. I cannot say I am not happy to take them off though when I return from my fashionable outings. My feet still kill me due to the width. I will never buy b width again. I swear. I was just seduced by the idea of stretch. If you do not have my feet issues I think you may find these a 5 star boot.

Love these boots -- so comfortable and worth the price. The only down side is they do get warm and your feet sweat in them a bit. As long as you can deal with that, then I’d recommend them.

I love the looks of these boots. They are not the easiest boots to walk in. They are very lightweight and I twisted my ankles a little bit walking across a grassy area. So, just stay on hard surfaces and you\'ll be okay. They are very cute.
