I've had these boots for 3 years and they're still going strong! So comfortable, totally weather-proof and they look great with skinny jeans tucked in. Just a heads-up on the fit. I usually wear an 8.5 M, and I took these in a 9 W to accommodate an orthotic. Really works well. Other La Canadienne boots have been fine with orthotics in my normal size, so maybe they run big rather than these running small. I highly recommend these boots and all similar LC boot styles (I have a couple pair with the same sole).

These are the best boots ever. I have a very sensitive forefoot as I've had bunion surgery on both feet. Medium width forefoot now and very narrow heel. I can't wear heels but I'm short so I love the extra height of the platform. My feet are always freezing and these boots keep me toasty warm. It was a stretch to spend the money but I'll confess I now have 2 pairs in black and 2 in brown. I wear them 80% of the time in the winter. For real.

These are my 3rd pair of La Canadienne boots and I was not disappointed. I live in a ski town with lots of snow. I wasn't willing to compromise style for comfort and convenience and these are the perfect boots. Very comfortable, decent traction, the wedge style gives me the height I want but also stability in snow conditions. I love that these have a narrow calf that actually fits my leg. I love La Canadienne I only wish they made these in leather.

These boots are super comfortable and stylish. The insides are lined so they are much cozier than leather boots. They look cute with dresses as well as pants. Although suede is harder to maintain than leather, I sprayed them with a suede protector in the hopes of keeping them clean.

Love these boots! Extremely comfortable. Looks great with skirts or over a pair of jeans. I also have another pair of boots that are from La Canadienne. This brand seems to consistently provide stylish, comfortable boots.

I adore these boots. I got them in brown and receive a lot of compliments on them. They look great under jeans, with a skirt and tights, or over skinny jeans. I find them to be all-day wearable. The arch support could be better, but otherwise they are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that the suede looks a little worn after a year, but that\'s to be expected and could probably be prevented somewhat with some of that spray for suedes.

I have a hard time buying boots. My feet are size 8-1/2 wide but my calves are not very large. The great thing about Zappos catalog is that the circumference of the boot at the top is provided. Besides having a hard time finding wide boots and shoes, every boot I tried on in Connecticut was so loose at my calves, I could put my fist inside the zipped boot. With Zappos, I ordered 2 different pairs, decided which I liked best and returned one pair free. Full credit was issued to my PayPal account and I am very satisfied. By the way, BOTH pair of boots fit perfectly. These Canadienne boots are the most comfortable I have ever worn and they keep me warm and dry in rain and puddles and ice and snow. They look sensational. And even though they have a slight heel, my toes stay in place and they feel great. I rarely wear heels because they are not comfortable. Canadienne knows how to make heels.

Love it, but runs a little small - I absolutely loved the Fionna from the moment I saw it - ordered it in a size 9 (which is my usual size) and found that it was way too tight around the ankle and calf. This surprised me, as I don't have big calves or ankles, but this was easily solved by ordering up half a size. The 9 1/2 fits great and allows for a thicker sock. Definitely still snug around the leg though, so tucking in jeans is not an option. I am planning on using these to travel around Europe this winter and think they will be a perfect way to be comfy and look stylish at the same time.

Great for Wisconsin winters! These boots rock! Cute and perfect for this ridiculously snowy Wisconsin winter. I do wish they were higher in the shaft. The Fionna is very comfortable thanks to the rubber sole, perfect heel height and the slightly square toe box. I am a die hard Ugg enthusiast and declare the Fionna even more comfortable than my Uggs! Amazing. Thanks, Zappos- as always, for your outstanding service!

Great boot! Comfortable, warm, and I love the added buckle. I bought another different pair from La Canadienne that had a cute heel, and they are definitely dressier than the wedge heel, but I love both. The calf circumference was actually larger than I thought when I measured my legs (I have thin legs). There might be a little bit of extra room but not so much that it looks like I'm drowning in the boot, just enough to fit a pair of snug jeans. I love this boot, the fit, the comfort, and finding a boot for lean legs is tough! Plus it is warm and waterproof. The first day I wore them, some dye flaked off the suede. But that didn't happen again, so it might have been the newness of them. I highly recommend this boot for girls with thin to normal calves.

Salt & slush does not harm these boots. I am buying my second pair of these boots. My job requires me to trudge through snow and salt and these boots look great, are warm and salt does not harm them (amazing!). I am hard on my soles and my boots held up for 2 years. I wore them every day through the winter. Stop wondering if you should buy them and just do it. Your will be happy with your investment.

Love this boot - This boot is attractive and extremely comfortable. It fits perfectly. I can walk miles. I have to be careful about the footwear I buy because I have some foot issues. However, I also like to look stylish. These boots are undoubtedly my favorite footwear for the season. Two thumbs up!

These boots are great ! I just got these after returning a different pair of boots and I'm so glad I did. These are gorgeous! Beautifully made. They look really great. They fit great around my calf and I can also tuck in my jeans too! They fit well. I'm usually and 8 1/2 or 9 and I got the 9 and I will definitely have room for a thicker sock. La Canadienne rocks! Worth every penny.

Wonderful boots - These are the best boots! They fit like a glove the first time I put them on and still fit beautifully, although they have stretched the tiniest bit. I walk 4 miles to work in the morning and they are warm and comfortable every step of the way. Plus the cut is curvy and sexy so they look great with tights and a skirt or under or over pants. I've gotten many compliments on them and love them!

Comfortable!! I have the worst time finding chic comfortable boots. These were, from the moment I put them on, just that. I bought them to go to Europe in the winter. I walked all over in the cold, slushy weather. I walked on city streets and old cobbled stones!! They were soooo comfortable and warm. They are true to size. I just wish they were higher in the shaft so I could wear them with skirts.

Love this boot - I absolutely love this boot. It's extremely comfortable without compromising style. I've worn them about a dozen times and they still look like new. The suede is durable. They fit nice and snug yet conform to your feet for comfort. The flare by the buckle adds a nice look with my skirts.

Comfy Shoe - These shoes are very comfy and I am looking forward to wearing them since my feet are usually hurting every day since I need orthotics and had 3 foot surgeries. It is hard for me to find boots that look stylish and are comfy too; it seems La Canadienne is the best I have found so far that you get the best of both worlds.

Fionna Boots - I really wanted to try this style but they were sold out of my size in brown every time I checked. I finally decided to try a different size because I could get it in brown and with free shipping both ways it would cost me nothing to try them on. I usually wear 8 to 8 1/2M. I ordered a 9W. They actually are the same length as my Doc Marten 8's, and feel wonderful. I can wear a sock with no slipping. The boots are very good-looking, most comfortable and really stylish. Soft suede and a cushy insole. The calf is not tight at all.

Very Versatile - I am in fashion sales and have to look stylish and nice when I call on accounts, I am also pregnant. So high heels are out for a while. This is why I chose these boots and I love them! They look great, are stylish, comfortable and warm. Highly recommend them for all of these reasons.

Comfy & Cute - Cute shoe and amazingly comfortable. Very warm and cozy. Can be worn with pants or a skirt. I have small calves and the fit was great - if you have large calves, these might be too snug for you.

Very comfortable. The first time I wore them was for 8 hours continuous, most of which I spent walking or standing. They kept my feet warm and dry in light snow, and look real cute with tights or jeans or a casual skirt. My only complaint is that the suede is looking a little "old", but that could be because I haven't cleaned it the right way. Overall, I highly recommend this boot. Worth the money.

Canadienne Fiona - Very nice boots, even elegant - I got the black ones. Just what I was looking for, not too high, not too low. Good for long walks as well.

Fantastic, Stylish, All-weather boots - After spending hours on every possible shoe site on the internet and checking out several pairs on a recent mall trip, I am really happy with these boots! Overall, the La Canadienne brand seems very well-respected and the material, construction, and style of their boots is fantastic. I am curious to wear them in really wet, snowy, slushy Chicago conditions to truly test their waterproof attributes! So far, so good though - they keep me warm without getting hot (even indoors). I was a little concerned about the circumference - says 12in and I measured that point on me to be 13 (muscular runner's calves), but they definitely zip fine without needing to stretch (and seems that there is some give if my calves were larger). Only complaint, hence the 4 stars, is that I feel like they are slipping/bunching a little bit... more than I'd generally like... so I do wish that they were as soft as they are with a slightly more rigid upper construction. Overall, a great find!

Happy in New Jersey - I saw these boots in a major dept. store on sale and they didn't have my size, so I tried Zappos and there they were. I bought 2 other styles to try for the look as well as comfort. Kept these and returned the others. They are perfect for east coast weather, somewhat stylish and very comfortable. As always, Zappos is a pleasure to shop with.
