We ordered this for my husband. He is 6'6'' tall and 240 lbs. We were concerned with it being too short, so we ordered the 2XL. It is long enough on him, and he has some extra room to wear over other clothing. There are drawstrings on the bottom, which we did have to tighten a little bit. He LOVES it!

I can't say much in the way of a review because I purchased The North Face Apex jacket as a gift for my son-in-law and, therefore, have no personal experience with the jacket. All I can say is that he loves it, and despite it's lightweight fabric, it apparently keeps him warm. It is also a very good-looking jacket.

This jacket is very nice! Quality and comfort is what you expect from The North Face. The adjustable Velcro on cuffs easily disconnects, but it's minor.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend for the few days he's in chilly weather. I have the ladies version of this jacket and I find that I can wear it pretty much anywhere. It's not too heavy where you're sweating. It's good for day to day life where maybe it's windy or drizzling, but might be a little too light for a blizzard. The green color is super nice, I love it.

This is my second Apex Bionic jacket. First one lasted 9 years! I'm 5'8, 155 lbs, and I got a medium. It fits great around the shoulders, but is a bit wide around the waist. There's a drawcord which helps snug it up a little and keep the wind out.

Great jacket! Nice fit, well made and perfect for cooler weather. Perfect for fishing, biking, hiking or walking the dog. Wind proof too. Zappos also delivered fast.

I bought this jacket as a Christmas gift for my son who is 6 ft 1 and 228 lbs. He wore a XL in the Dinali jacket that he currently owns, so I ordered the XL in this jacket as well. When the jacket arrived, I thought it might be too small, but the jacket fits very well. The sleeve length was actually a bit long but is adjustable because of the tabs at the wrist. I ordered the jacket in the grey color with the orange detail and it's exactly as pictured. My son is a student at Boston College and a lot of the kids wear this coat on campus. The coat blocks the wind, keeps them dry, and is warm enough for most weather conditions without that bulky feel. It's a figure flattering coat. My son is really happy with this gift... a very good purchase!

A great jacket for my 17 year old son. He wears it with and without a hoodie (depending on the weather) to school. He also wears it with khakis to church. It's very versatile.

Great quality jacket, keeps the wind out and looks stylish. Feels like it's going to last me years! Also hats off to Zappos, their free 2 day shipping speed was incredible. They shipped it out and I got it next day Saturday freaking free, woot! Just because of that I went ahead and ordered another North Face jacket from these guys. Keep doing what you're doing, Zappos.

Awesome jacket. This is my 4th North Face jacket and easily my favorite, great for weather that drops down into the low 30's and 40's in the winter months with limited snow/windchill - keeps you really warm despite being a very lightweight jacket. I am 6 ft, 180 pounds and the size Large was perfect.

This coat arrived in less than 24 hours from the time it was ordered. It was in great condition. My husband loves it and it is well made. It is worth the price.

I bought TNF Apex Bionic for my boyfriend. He's been wearing it everyday ever since. It's very lightweight, yet keeps him warm and comfortable without the extra bulk. The sleeves were a little long but it's adjustable with the velcro closure. Since he loves his so much, I decided to order one for myself.

Love the jacket!! It's thin but keeps me warm. Fits snuggly underneath a larger coat. It has flex material which is great! I had to exchange it for a smaller size and it came overnight!! Zappos is amazing...product and their service! I will continue to shop on line with Zappos because of the quality of customer service I recieve!

I’m 6”, 180lbs and the XL fits me perfect! This jacket blocks out the majority of wind walking in the city and is more than warm enough for running out to the stores etc. with just a Tshirt underneath. For skiing and those real cold days, I layer a Columbia fleece underneath and this thing can’t be beat. I love this jacket!

This coat is great. It is light and warm. Although if you want to wear another layer such as polar fleece under it, it can feel a little restricting. I love the brown, so many coats are just plain black and the color reminds my wife of good chocolate!

Great jacket - really keeps the elements out. Wind & rain. Kind of feels like a wetsuit or diving suit. Lightweight & nonrestrictive of movement. Plan to backpack with the jacket in Colorado this summer, but have been wearing it every day since I got it. Only one day here in KC this winter that it wasn’t warm enough. Ordered a size up as North Face notoriously runs small and I don’t like things skin-tight. Great value in my opinion because it’s a winter coat & lightweight jacket.

This is a great jacket - it is lightweight and warm. It also looks good and is easy to wash.

I ordered this for my 17 year old son for Christmas, he absolutely loves it, great fit, style etc.

The jacket was a gift for my son. He likes the smooth finish and the understatedness of the jacket. The windproof is needed in VA beach. The sizing is on the fitness side and a heavy flannel shirt underneath is max.
