I purchased these boots for walking and long periods out in the cold. The boots are very warm and found it better when I didnt use any socks! The only problem I experienced is that they are not wide enough and UGG does not carry them or any footware in wide. If you are listening and want to corner the market, get them in wide!

if the company had more multi colored there would be so many different colors on the streets, and purple is the most liked color because everybody already like the shoes they would like it even more if they were wearing their favorite color

bought these to handle extreme cold... 20 degrees and colder. The selling point was the wool foot bed/liner and while it has that, the boots just aren't that warm. Still rely on heated socks to get the job done in extended periods outdoors.
The vibrate soles are great. Good grip.
Note: I had to exchange for a full size larger as my "EE Wide" size was too big for standard size. Customer service is excellent.

I wanted to like this boot but it was too tight for my foot, so I returned them and order the men's boot that looks just like these.

I bought these boots in September 2019 after great deal of research. They are good quality, well made and very light. They are very comfortable to walk. However, first snow and ice on the streets showed "the dark side" of them. They are EXTREMELY SLIPPERY. Think twice before buying these boots.

The right boot does not fit. The seam at the bottom of the tongue and across the top of the foot is too tight. The left foot fits fine. I plan to return them.

i received this as a Christmas gift and at first sight i loved them, very stylish but until today i just wore them and it was 18 degree and my feet were freezing. These shoes provide no warmth at all i did notice that theres a difference between the female version and guy version it seems as the the guys shoe is not fully lined. I would 100% return these but they are a gift so ill keep them for style. and no im not exaggerating when i say my feet were freezing

Bought these after using butte bomber, there is a huge difference. bomber is how it supposed to be, this one hurts my leg. If your legs are muscly and have some hair on your legs, you are going to have some problem walking around in these boots. They dont hurt your feet they hurt your leg, there is too much pressure I think its about the material they used to make these, feels like a tight cardboard around your legs . They look AMAZING thats for sure but not a huge fan of the pain. I would recommend butte bomber if you like comfort

I originally bought this shoe for my 11 year old daughter who wears a 9.5 in boys. Zappos biggest size in women for Ugg Butte is size 8 in women. I need a 10 in women. I'm returning it. It's too boyish looking for my daughter.

I am disappointed in this product. I tried on the boot in a retail store and determined that a 9.5 fit best (though it was a little tight). I had to order a pair because the store didn't have the right color. When the boots arrived, I started wearing them only to realize that they are too big. Also, I had heard about how warm the traditional boot is, but I have not found this style to be very warm (maybe because it is too big or maybe because the lambs wool is only in the upper, not in the waterproof part of the boot?).

My Mother in law had me pick out a pair of boots for Christmas. After looking at many styles on Zappos, I picked the UGG Butte. I live in Colorado, and believe it or not, we had not gotten any real amount of snow since December. We finally got dumped on this week so I had the opportunity to fully test them out. Let me tell you, these things are TERRIBLE is you are out in the cold/snow for any amount of time. My wife has several pairs of UGG boots and loves them, so I thought that these would be the same. The wool does not cover the entire inside of the boots, the actual foot area is not covered! Why would they do that? I called Zappos and was told that they would not take them back because I had worn them. I called UGG and asked a few questions about the boot. I asked the customer service rep what the "cold rating" is no the boots. He replied "15 degrees"… umm that is a normal winter day in Colorado. He offered to have me send them back to them for an UGG credit, but it will take 4-6 weeks to process (it is winter and I need boots). I called Zappos back and they offered to send me out an identical pair. If the first one wasn't warm, I doubt the second pair will be either. Not happy with Zappos Customer Service, which is surprising since my wife orders her shoe collection from them and we have never had a problem!
Bottom line, if you are looking for a boot to wear to the mall and look good, these are for you. If you spend any amount of time outside, stay clear of these! Hopefully UGG will change the style to have the lining cover the entire inside of the boot!
