Looking for something simple and hip, these fit the bill, but I have high arches and these offer no support. Feels like your foot is slapping the pavement. I walk a lot in the city so I bought arch support inserts which help a little but still not fitting right.

Very cool looking shoe, but the depth was too shallow for me. The seam across the front of the shoe rubbed the top of my foot as soon as I put it on. Definitely no room for orthotics in this one. Bummer!

I really like the patterns available for these classic vans. However, the extra layer of material added to the toe box is not comfortable! It's probably there to prevent wear, but it made my toes feel as if they were pinned down to the sole, with no room to move! I had to send them back! I would not order another pair of these unfortunately, which is too bad because they looked great!

The shoes were what I expected, Vans delivers in that area. I was disappointed that I did not receive white laces to go with the shoes, the picture clearly shows them with white laces. That wasn't too much of a problem though. My pair started to tear in a small spot where the sole meets the cloth of the shoe, but that may have been due to the rough night I wore them on. I fixed it with a little super glue and they are as good as new. These shoes will hold up through moderate use, nothing too extreme. Great for dressing up or just casual wear.

I have had these shoes for only two months and they already need to be replaced. I thought I was getting a good deal because I've worn Vans in the past, but these were very uncomfortable and still are. Do not wear them for excessive walking or for work.

Honestly, these shoes look hot. I wore the hell out of them for 6 months after I bought them. But the day I had to walk home from school because I missed the bus, my feet hurt for 4 days straight.

The colors on these Vans are really great this year. I was not completely happy with the fit. The canvas is thin. I suppose that is good for hot summers, but they don't seem any better than, say, the Keds which have been around for generations. They just come in more fun colors. In addition, the support is iffy; they are flat and not something to wear all day long. The canvas gives side to side so just not much support. I got some Polo brand canvas shoes which were made MUCH better, have thicker, sturdier canvas and better arch support/side support. So, my opinion is, for colors they are worth the money and that's the only reason. Otherwise, if Keds made the same thing I would just buy those. ZAPPOS, HOWEVER, IS FABULOUS! I WILL NEVER STOP USING THEM! They are so easy to deal with, polite on the telephone if you have questions or problems and very fair. I LOVE THIS COMPANY!

I ordered these shoes for my son (not from Zappos this time; you were out of his size/color). In less than a week, the rubber trim started to peel away from the side of the shoe and I needed to repair it with Shoe Goo! I might add that in that week's time, the shoes experienced no unusual wear and tear nor harsh climactic conditions. For the price, the quality seems more like something I'd find elsewhere for half the price.
