Rockport - Rockport has a great product. All their shoes are top quality and feel good on your feet. I do a lot of walking on the job and the Rockport World Tour Elite-Encounter felt good the first day I wore them.

I had a pair of Rockport's for work that were about five years old. The shoes were worn in every way and it was time for a new pair. Well, the only way to go was another pair of Rockports ordered from Zappos. Both of these companies are #1 in my book. What a great pair! -Bob

Rockport shoes a great success! My husband bought a pair of Rockport shoes years ago and has refused to give them up now that they look not so great. In buying these new shoes he has been thrilled and wears the old ones less and less. I doubt if he will ever give his old ones up. The new shoes are great! Thank you. . .

World Tour Elite- I liked this shoe a lot. It's comfortable and durable. My feet and legs don't tire after being on my feet 8 hours straight.

Completely satisfied- I have had the shoes for 3 weeks. Now and I love them. It took about a week for my feet to adjust to such a quality shoe but I have nothing to complain about. I have been an avid tennis shoe wearer for years and never knew that I could find such comfort in a shoe of this kind. I will be buying and wearing this shoe for many years to come. So if you’re sitting on the fence, go ahead and give this shoe a try because I have no doubt that you will be as happy about this purchase as I am. I might add that I have high arches and this shoe has great support.

Overall, A Very Good Shoe. I wanted a durable dress shoe, one that would last me a few years and wouldn't fall apart after a few months of wear. I'll admit that I'm unusually hard on shoes, plus I have a wide foot which makes it hard to find shoes that fit properly. I've only wore these a couple of times so far, but I'm very pleased with what I purchased. The fit is excellent. The real test for me as of right now is still unknown, because if they can last me a couple of years, I'll be very pleased with them. Only time will tell about that, but, as of right now, I'm completely happy with them and will most likely buy another pair of Rockports in the future.

Great workin, on your feet shoes- As advertised! I am on my feet 12 hours a day and would not hesitate to get another pair. Combines with the Zappos service, (I got them in two days instead of 4-5) they are a fantastic deal.

Rockport World Tour-Elite Very Nice Shoe- I like the appearance and style of this shoe, the support and overall comfort is very good, but not quite as good as the Rockport World Tour Classic. Still, I think the shoe is great.

Excellent Shoe- The World Tour Elite - Encounter is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have worn. Excellent quality and fit.

Rockport = The Best - These are my 5th pair of Rockports. Talk about comfort, I'm on my feet all day and these are the best I've found. Never a break-in period, the comfort is there right out of the box! I like that you can wear these with dress slacks or casual pants. These new Rockport Elites are by far my favorite! I also like that when I wear Rockports, the size and fit is always RIGHT.

Good selection. My local Rockport store has gone to $39 for every shoe in stock. Their selection at that price is poor.

I have used Rockport shoes for many years because I have to wear orthotics and need to remove the foot bed of the shoes.

These shoes have better cushioning than the World Tour Classics that I had been wearing for many years with satisfaction. It took some breaking in with these shoes, unlike the WTC's to fit properly but they give excellent support though they are slightly loose in the heel unlike the WTC but not really problematic. They do seem to provide more room in the toes for me. I am an extremely difficult size to fit. I'm a 3A with a 4A in the heel. The insert provided for these shoes is also superior.

I ended up returning this shoe because it didn't seem to be narrow enough. I have a narrow feet and ordered the "Narrow" (B) width, but it felt more like a Medium width when I put it on. Overall, I liked the shoe though.

These are OK. It seems Rockports used to be much more comfortable than they are now. I have flat feet and Rockports tend to have less arch so I usually can find one that is adequate.

Excellent comfort for wide feet. Rigid shank for midfoot control. Took only a week to break in. Downside is the rubbing on the back of the achilles when driving or walking. Will need to change/modify insert for my best comfort.

I ordered these before and they were smooth leather which polished nicely so they had a dress look along with good comfort. This order came in a grained "tumbled" leather which does not polish well or look nearly as nice. Still a comfortable work shoe, just looks cheaper. As always, Zappos was great!

I was attempting to supplement another pair of Rockports I have. This shoe was the suggested (by Rockport) shoe closest to what I have. While it is a good shoe, it does not have the same comfort, perhaps because it is still new. The sole seems stiffer and does not offer the same cushioning effect I already had in my other pair.

This shoe is nicely designed, yet doesn't offer a great deal of support for a Rockport, relative to the others I've owned. The shoe also appears to run wider and longer than similar sizes from other manufacturers' lines intended for both style and comfort (e.g., Reebok).

Well made, true to size. Color is a bit darker than I assumed from the photo, but acceptable. Definitely more substantial that the lower priced Rockport walking shoes.

I had long been a fan of Clarks shoes (also purchased from Zappos) but when my most recent purchase decided to develop a persistent and annoying squeak after only a year & a half of use I decided to try Rockport's latest offerings. I have owned an old pair of Rockport XCS boots for quite some years and have well pleased with their quality and fit. I find the World Tour Elite to be a good example of Rockport today. They fit well, were accurately sized and seem of good quality. And they don't squeak!

Very comfortable out of the box. A little more casual looking than it appeared in the picture.
